PM: Easy 6 miler Washington run. Before this run I ran a 100 meter race against Skylar Scott. I smoked him, I didn't even want to race him but he kept talking so much crap.

I didn't run as fast as I should have but I still pushed real hard throughout the 15 minutes. GOOD TEMPO RUN!

Lake to Lake Relay (10.86 Miles) 05:02:47, Place overall: 2, Place in age division: 2 | | My Lake to Lake team consisted of Ross Decker(Ex-DSC coach), Shaun Russon(DSC runner), Jeff Leavitt(DHS best runner), Corey Kimzey(PVHS stud runner), and me.
I was the first leg and got to the starting line with about a minute to spare. The gun went off and I hurried and pushed into the lead. My goal on this first leg was to just beat Bill Campbell. Jk, I just wanted to run under a 6 minute pace for the 6 miles. I lost the lead to some SLC runner about a mile and a half in and I let him keep it the rest of the way.
6.07 miles time: 36:16/5:58 mile pace
I ended up running leg 8 because Shaun had some nasty blisters so we gave him an easier leg. I was not down for this leg at all. When Jeff handed off to me our team was about 3 minutes behind the Running Club team so I really had no motivation to push.
4.79 miles time: 31:39/6:37 mile pace
It was a great race! I tip my hat off to Hayden, James, Dustin, Bill, and Nate on their victory, great job guys!

Hurricane Invite (0.5 Miles) 00:02:14, Place overall: 1, Place in age division: 14 | | I wasn't sure what time I would be able to run in the 800 so I jumped in the slowest heat of 3. I saw Kendrek and his cousin in this heat so I was happy about that. The gun went off and I fell behind some kid for the first 200 meters, but then I passed him and never looked back. I tried kicking it on the last 100 but I didn't have anything left. Hopefully my times will keep improving once I get in better shape. It was nice to win a 800 race, even if it was in the slow heat. I PR'd today as well.

| | I didn't run monday because I was traveling down to Mesa to visit all my family. I also got stuck repairing these fences that Elk had broken through at my uncles cabin.
I ran 6X(uphill)1000s with my dad up at the Mogollon Rim. It was good altitude training and we ran each one at about a 3:45 pace.

| | I didn't run with the team this morning because I was out camping. I did get out and ran into the fields though to get a nice 8 and half in. I also lifted alot before this run. I'm starting to get more positive about my own running.
