| | New month to get back in "Wasatch Back Attack Shape". I ran an easy but somewhat hard(on my arch), run with "Jair Bear". We had a really good turn out for our WBR team so things are looking good.

| | Easy parkway 5 with the XC kids for the last time. XC is the only thing I will miss next year.

| | After 2 nights of camping on Boulder mountain I got back in time to run with the club. Today it was the Holt brothers, the G Brothers, and my Dad and I. We went for an easy 8 and I got confused and ended up going shorter than the rest of the guys.

| | The original plan was that I was going to bandit this 10k this morning. I don't even know what 10k it was called but things didn't really work out. My garmin wasn't ready when the gun went off so I started like 2 minutes behind everyone. Then I was just feeling sick so I backed off and decided to run with my buddy Jared Gentry. Then when running with him I pulled my hamstring. So overall a terrible "race attempt". Hopefully my hami gets better soon.

| | I tried running/jogging down to the river and my hamstring is still giving me some problems.

| | I took it easy yesterday to give my hami some recovery time. I tested it out today some light running and it is better but still a nagging problem.
We did the Oak Grove run tonight for wasatch. I struggled for the first couple of miles with my hami straining. Then I got to a point where my hamsting wasn't a problem at all, so sweet! I just cruised along and ran a solid workout. After I finished Ethans face was all swollen up and Ryan was lost or something. Crazy night, so I had to drive Ethans truck back to our meetin spot.

| | I ran the 5k of a triathlon in Payson that my dad completly dominated in. He won by like 7 minutes.

| | We did our typical 16X60 second repeats with equal jog time in between. It was hard to stay consistent for 16 of these bad boys but I finished really strong. Great Workout!

| | Easy 6 loop around my hood.

| | I went out with a re-pulled hamstring(from frisbee) and tried to run with the wasatch crew. I ended up only going 4.5 and then added another mile and a half of grass loops at the church.
So my body is beat up for wasatch! I'm considering this relay my last "high school" race because I'm not satisfied with how XC or track ended for me and because I am running with all high school kids. I'm going to have to give each leg I do my best despite my injuries and all other crap that might occur. If I don't do my best I will be pissed!

total: 53:11/6:19 mile average
Leg 3:
I always hate the 3rd leg! Lets just say I sucked but still kept it under a 7 minute mile pace.
Well this was probably my last year of Wasatch and I have mixed feelings about it. I'm going to miss the time spent with my team but I'm not going to miss leg 1,13, or 25.
I tip my hat off to Davis high for beating us in the high school divsion, not so much for the other high school team though. Anyone can assemble a bunch of kids from different high schools and make a good team. Also congrats to Pine Views coed team and Desert Hills teams.
