I started out pretty much in the last of all the runners. I got stuck in a bathroom line forever! So I was 12 minutes behind the clock and had thousands of people to pass. Overall experience was really sucky because of injury. My achilles kept going out on me. If I didn't have this problem and didn't have to stop for some bathroom stops, I might have broken 3 hours. I felt pretty good except for those 2 problems. I was also 2 weeks too old to win the Silver Shoe Award for the age group 15-18, but Dawson got it so its all good.

Times:

1. 6:12 (Just passing thousands of people)

2. 6:40

7. 6:26 (After this mile I spent like 3 mins. in bathroom)

8. 7:21

9. 6:50

10. 7:06

11. 7:31

13. 6:57 (1:27:54 half way)

14. 7:02

15. 6:30

16. 6:27

17. 6:44

18. 7:29

19. 8:18 (This is where I started to have achilles problems bad)

20. 7:18 (2:17:42)

21. 8:28

22. 8:27 (I think that Coach Roberts came and helped on this mile)

23. 7:52 (2:42:30)

24. 8:23 (I really wussed out from here on)

25. 9:12 (Some dude helped me through this mile)

26. 8:15

.2. 1:18

Total: 3:15:42/7:31 mile.

My garmin says I'm a lot faster because that thing stops when I do. But add some bathr room stops, and being a wuss achilles stops and my time is right on.

I tried this new thing out called Intensified Jogging where I jog for a lot of miles and sprint like the last 100 meters of the jog.

Got out just to run. I'm thinking about running the Mesquite Marathon if I can get in decent shape.

Last time when I was trying to get back in shape I went too hard too soon. So today I got out and started to run fast, but then I told myself to just relax and enjoy the run. I'm going to keep do this and build a good base.

Ran an easy 5 but felt really weird. I felt like one of my legs was a couple of inches longer than the other or something.
