O yeah I no longer have the The Nickname "the Beast". Some scary big chick at PV has that nickname I guess. I'm pretty sure I had that nickname before her but I'm not gonna fight her on that one. So if you know me well throw out some new nicknames for me. Because we all know you can't give yourself a nickname because thats just gay. Some 3 year old called me the Big Bad Wolf so I'm rolling with that right now.

Cedar Invite (3 Miles) 00:17:35, Place overall: 11, Place in age division: 2 | | I ran pretty well today, I did have some stomach problems, but what else is new. I started out really fast with Tason, and Luke, leading the whole pack pretty much. After the first mile and a half I started to settle in and slow down. I told myself I couldn't do this and picked it up again. I think I PR'd on any XC course for the year today but no one had my time so I'm not sure. Still need to take my running one mor level.
K Coach the The Beast is staying.

| | I ran over to the Marathon finish in the cold rain. Once I got there I knew I hadn't run enough so I just ran around town for a while to get enough miles. I felt really smooth and not even tired from the meet yesterday. Congrats MY DAD, COACH, and all the other bloggers who ran the marathon!

Snow Canyon Invitational (Team Place: 1) (3 Miles) 00:17:20, Place overall: 21, Place in age division: 6 | | I ran great today! Coach Holts workouts are starting to pay off. I started out real fast, I realized this when I couldn't see Monty, or D.G. in front of me and I was on Ben Jarvis's tail. I felt real good until about a mile and half in. I settled a little bit (I can't do that). I picked it up with a little under a mile to go and had an awesome kick. I finished 6th on the team today, by default. I just have to give it everything next race, and if I do hopefully I can run at state. Theres nothing else I can do but give it my best.

Region at Dixie (3.17 Miles) 00:19:37, Place overall: 8, Place in age division: 8 | | It was a slow course and I felt I gave it a good effort, but still could have done much better. I wasn't feeling it as much today. I'm happy I finished in the top 10, and that I ran on varsity for my final race. It was my first year running on varsity for region. Congrats to my team and Hayden and everyone.
My High School running career is over! I have a lot of regrets of stuff I could have done better. I also have many memories and things I am happy I accomplished. This year was definetely my best cross country season ever. Mainly because I finally did Coach Holts workouts right this year.

| | After a long night of camping and a long day of Couch Skiing I decided to go on a run. It was a border line tempo run. The first two miles were down hill and the last two had some intense uphill. So I tried to push the uphill hard to get about the same splits as the down hill.
4 miles:
1. 6:31
2. 6:39
3. 6:53 (uphill)
4. 6:31 (uphill)
total time: 26:36
I was suprised how well I ran considering I was way tired from region and the run-a-thon. I'm just trying to keep my speed up in case, some people get hurt (T.A.) and I have to take a varsity spot for state.

PV Stake 5K (3.1 Miles) 00:18:08, Place overall: 4, Place in age division: 3 | | I thought this race would be way more competitive because pretty much the whole PV cross country team lives in my stake. The main PV runners there were: Goold 1, Sierra, Manchesthairs United, Curls, Little D.G., and Garrett. When the race started all the PV boys were leading the pack. Eventually Austin pulled away, then some SUU dude, and me and Devin weren't too far behind. I stayed with Devin the whole race until about a 400 to go, he got an edge on me. I finished about 5 seconds behind him. I felt I ran a good race, I was having some stomach problems though.

| | Awesome Roller Coaster run. Ran with T.A. , Will, Ty, D.G., Kimz, and Aussie. Devin kept pushing the pace and at the end I had to give it a little kick to put him in his place.
