| | 8 intense miles on Cedar Mountain with my dad. It was good altitude training, and felt nice to run in the rain.

PM: I finally went to Power Lounge to design the XC shirts with Ashley and Cassidy. So Austin get off my back! Ran a moderate AT, I felt really tired but ran ok. I had people (Kress Staheli) calling me PRE during my run, it was sweet!

BYU Invitational (Team Place: 5) (3.4 Miles) 00:20:12, Place overall: 24, Place in age division: 11 | | I feel like I ran tough and hard throughout the whole race. My calves were tightning about half way in the race so that sucked. It was longer than expected, I heard it was 3.4 miles. I know I can still take it to another level. I am just afraid to push harder, even though I know I can. Congrats to all the PV teams today.

| | AM: Easy AC with a good crew.
PM: 7 Sunrise Hills. I can't run with the young bucks anymore, its kind of sad. I was feeling real tired from yesterday and had trouble pushing it. I also tweeked my back by having bad form up the hills, so running is so great now! I'm just trying to stay positive and get ready for a great race at Vegas.

| | PM: I tore it up on the Warm-up and smoked everyone. Ran the AT with the "Big Boys" today. I was behind Corey and Trevor the whole way and right with Tason and Danny. Eventually T.A. dropped back and Danny passed me up but I stayed right close to Danny the whole way in. Today was a good confidence builder since I was close to the top Varsity dudes. I got a new AT record today, WOO!

Las Vegas Invite (Team Place: 13) (3.1 Miles) 00:19:31, Place overall: 82, Place in age division: 3 | | I thought this course was going to be fast, but the sand slowed us all down. It was like running in the Green Springs Desert. It was a pretty big meet with all the Nevada teams. I stayed right behind Ryan pretty much the whole dang race, he even whipped a tree branch in my face. I felt ok with this run, but still need to take it to another level. We took 13th, kinda good considering our Varsity team was really our JV team.
Congrats to the Varsity boys: I really really really really wish I was up there with you guys to watch you dominate. Or to run with you, but I'm just too dang slow.

Duel in the Desert (Team Place: 1) (3 Miles) 00:17:48, Place overall: 9, Place in age division: 8 | | I finally feel pretty good about a race! I lead for about the first mile, thought I could keep the pace but I eventually dropped back. The rainy weather made the race way fun! So I was satisfied with today, although I still need to improve. I made a bet with Dawson: If he beat me I would owe him 20 bucks, and if my team beat his he would owe me 20 bucks. Our bet cancelled each other out. Not sure on my official time at the moment.

| | AM: Fast paced run by myself.
PM: I beat Tason on the warm-up, good B-day present for me I guess.
AT FULL- I started out good and fast with Monty, and was feeling alright. Then I pulled a double Kimzey. So I stopped and tied my shoes, and it took like a minute to tie them because of all the mud we were running in. I still ran a decent time though.

Pre Region at Dixie (Team Place: 1) (3 Miles) 00:19:16, Place overall: 15, Place in age division: 13 | | So much for homecoming week being way fun. I have been at the school more than I have been home, and all the early morning practices for an assembly have gotten me sick.
So for the race I just felt like #$%@. Hopefully I feel better soon. Thanks to Jake who actually helped me push a little bit. I'm gonna tear it up next race!

I had asthma for first time since I was like 8 today. I think it was just because I have feeling crappy and sick all week. I pushed through each one, and was proud of my efforts!
