| | I felt really slow and tired during this foremaster run. After I felt even worse and went home and slept for hours.

| | Did some team relay 400s. I was paired with one of the fastest girls named Liz. I had to use the bathroom but didn't have time since my recovery was as long as my teamate could run a 400. I ran 10 and and she ran 9. We took 3rd against all the other groups of the team.

George Kyte Invitational (4.96 Miles) 00:34:06, Place overall: 55, Place in age division: 6 | | The race was delayed because of lightning. I felt really tired and sore from the beginning and just didn't push or get out of a comfort zone.

| | XC Practice: Ran 6 with the team out to Middleton.
After practice I was called upon to run in the Red Rock with my buddy Montague. I coud not resist. I only made the conditions that I would do some earlier legs so I could get done fast so I could party at my cabin.
Leg 3(Red Rock): I loved this leg! Long and mostly downhill. 8.50 miles in 56:28/6:39 pace
Leg 7(Red Rock): Duck creek to Navajo lake. I am a terrible runner and I had to run this "very hard" leg. I just tried to endure and not pass out. 5.8 miles in 51:53/8:57 pace
Leg 13(Red Rock): I ran out towards New Castle and I was hauling butt (prob 6:15-6:20 pace) but then there was a lot of loose gravel and my flats do not handle loose gravel and or rocks very well. My feet got destroyed. Fatigue from running 20+ miles didn't seem to be a big deal but my feet were killing me. 4.8 miles in 33:45/7:02 pace

| | AM: I missed XC practice and ran 2 on my own. I think I am going to loose my big toe nail thanks to wearing flats in the Red Rock.

PM: I was supposed to do a 4 mile tempo run then a 3 mile tempo run out towards the strip. I didn't run fast. I lacked energy and had cramps in the calves.

| | I keep getting new pains! My foot and achilles. Ran barefoot in grass because it feels better than with shoes on.

| | I ran out to the desert above Green Springs. I am having foot pains in my left foot, so I ended up jogging. It was a rough week. I need to recover and stretch well.

| | AM: Ran 3.75 miles in my new NoosaFasts. My foot is still messed up so I have just been icing a lot lately. I didn't run at all yesterday.

UNLV Invite (3.1 Miles) 00:19:52, Place overall: 20, Place in age division: 6 | | I thought I pushed well but I am not sure what is wrong with me. Yes my foot was hurting a lot but I thought I was running a much faster pace. I guess I will just have to keep running harder and harder.
