Ran six miles at a 8:57 pace. But my legs were really soar today, it took them a couple of miles to get warmed up. I also used the elliptical for five minutes. Have a good day.. :)

Nice easy six miles today. My knee is still a little soar for the first mile and i am thinking that my shin is about 95 to99 percent healed. I did run with the incline at 0.5 for a little bit. Thanks for reading and have a great day...

Ran a nice easy eight miles today. I had the treadmill at a 0.5 incline for seven of the miles and 1.0 for the last mile. My pace time was 8:34, not too bad. Have a good day.......

Ran ten miles at a 8:27 pace. Overall my right leg felt good, a little pain here and there but not too bad. I was only going to run nine, but ten sounded much better. Also i had the incline at 0.5 for seven miles then i went to 1.0 for the last three. I was able to keep my bmp from 138 - 145. Thanks for reading and have a great day...

Today was a little tougher for me. My body is not use to running back to back ten milers and I was really soar during the last couple miles. But I made it and I will survive. I have been running on the treadmill because I am afraid that my shin splints are going to come back, so as of now I will be running the treadmill a little longer. But my overall pace was 8:30 per mile, and my bpm was between126 – 144. Also no incline today.  Thanks for reading and have a good day…

Today my shin was bothering me, so what I did was every time it hurt I stopped and stretched. So I was able to finish my run. I am going to the doctor tonight and have him look at my shin again and see if it is getting worse.I do have to say that the last two miles I felt ok. My overall pace was 8:57. Ran five miles today, the shin was feeling good  until the half mile.My pace was 8:57 per mile.  Now my shin is soar and i am very frustrated. I think i will take a ice bath tonight. I hope it helps. Also, i have a 5k race tomorrow, so i am praying that my shin holds up. Have a good day!!

I have to say that God works miracles. Because yesterday and even this morning my leg was bothering my in a painful way. I was going to run a 5k but my Garmin said that it was only 2.82 miles, my total times was 19:30, but when I received the results it said 18:44. So according to my time I ran a 6:57 pace and using there time I average pace was 6:38. I do have to say that I like there time a lot better. So over all I am very pleased with the run. This was a team event there was me running and my friend from church (cousin) and another friend doing the swimming, as you may guess it was a triathlon. I will try to post the race results along with my blog. Which will show the running time, biking time and then the swimming time. Thanks for reading and have a Great night!!!

Nice easy pace today 8:34 per mile. When I started running my leg did not hurt and it really surprised me but it was a good surprise. What I am doing different is I am foam rolling the inside of my calf. But my legs are really soar now, so I think tonight I will take a ice bath. Sounds like fun, right. I know you are really jealous. But I do plan on running tonight after work at least two miles. Thanks for reading and have a great afternoon..

I am not sure why, I even think I am a little crazy. OK, I am a lot crazy. I was only planning on running five miles today and then stop. But when five miles came i was feeling good so i kept running and running and running. My legs were not too soar, but they were still soar. So anyway i ran nine miles at a 8:48 pace and now i am at my fifty miles for the week and i still have tomorrow to run. So I think i am going to take Kory advice and only run two miles, but at a nice easy pace. So thanks for reading and have a great day.

P.S. My water heater is getting fixed today. I love my water heater.... :)

Evening:

Today i went to a really good class. I learned how to run the right way.  Wow it is a new way of running, i learned that i should not run on the heal of my foot but the center of my foot. I did practice my new way of running tonight. I will tell more later. But now back to my running tonight i decided to run 3.10 miles that way i can say that i ran a half marathon. My pace was 8:47 per mile.Have a good night.

Evening:

After work i decided to run on the treadmill waiting for my running club to start. So while i was waiting i was able to run 1 1/2 at a 8:57 pace. Then the running club started i was trying to decided how far to run and i decided to run between 3 - 4 miles. So to make a long story short i ran four miles at a 7:18 pace. My legs were tired today, and especially my calf's they hurt. My pace was 08:14.56 overall. I think i will try to run tonight but not too much, i am thinking two miles or something. I am thinking about cutting back to 40 to 45 miles next week. I have a 5K race on Saturday. Any suggestions? Thanks for reading and have a good day.

Today's run was painful, but not from my shin :). When i went to the class to learn how to run properly I started using there technique, but i did not give myself a chance to adjust to the new way of running and i hurt my foot. The doctor told me to go back to the way i run and slowly adjust to the new way of running. So I will. But any way my over pace was 8:34. I am going to try to run four miles tomorrow, so i can get my 60 miles in for the week. Thanks for reading and have a Great night.

Today my legs felt pretty good, overall. I ran a total of 8 miles. Of course on the treadmill, my first half mile I had no incline then the next 3 ½ miles were at 0.5 then the last four was at a 1.0 incline. My legs are a little soar from last week but not too bad. I also have my class tonight on running properly so that will be my only running tonight. Thanks for reading and have a great day!!

Nice easy six mile run, my pace was 8:57. I do plan on running tonight four miles to make my total for today 10 miles. With this new way of running, i am feeling pain in some places i have never felt pain before. But this is a good thing, because i know i am running right and i will be able to run faster :). Ran 4.19 miles at a 7:37 pace. The lady i ran with says that her showed Garmin showed 4.14 @ a 7:10 pace i think. Anyway way, we ran on some sidewalk and my leg is a little soar now, but i will ice it tonight. Also, i felt more tired during the run, maybe i need more rest i am not sure. Hello everyone. How are we all doing today? Well, I have to say i think sidewalks are evil to run on. My leg has been really soar today and i think it was from running on the Sidewalk. Anyway, i ran eight miles today at a 08:14.88 pace. I was trying to see if running faster would help the pain in my leg and guess what it did :). Why, i am not sure. Evening:  Doctor appoitment went good. My hip was out of place and needed to be adjusted, as you can guess i went to the chiropractor. The problem that i had was the inside of my calf on my right side has been bothering so i wanted to see about getting it fixed before the race on Saturday. I can understand why it was bothering me because my hip was really out of place and needed to be adjusted really bad. So my plan for tomorrow is to run four miles slow and then race on Saturday. Today race was different. I was hoping to do better, but i did not do too bad at all. I was trying to use the new way of running, but it is a lot harder running on pavement than on the treadmill. It was kinda funny while I was running i would pass someone and then someone would pass me. So my overall place was sixth and my age for my age group i was second. I am not sure how many were in the 5k race, but i am thinking around 163 runners. So what now? Well i am glad you asked! I am now going back to my long running; so next week i will be running 50 - 55 miles. I am hoping to run a half marathon in Boise in October. Thanks for reading and have a Great Day!!! :)

Later:  Today’s run was interesting one.  My leg was giving me problems in the beginning and also my Garmin watch. I was able to run through my leg, but my watch was a different matter. I had to stop around mile five and fix it. The problem was that my watch was telling me my average time per mile and I wanted my per mile time now.  But before I stopped to fixed it, I found some money. So for today I was paid to run my 15.06 miles. I was paid so much that I can now go to McDonalds and buy me a hamburger.  As you can guess I found two dollars, which I stuck in my shoe and finished my run :). But I am now two dollars richer. I was trying to keep my pace around 9:00 minutes per mile, I should not try to fool myself like that. My legs like to run around 8:3?. My average pace per mile was 8:30.  Ok, well here are my splits.
