Todays run was an easy one, my pace was 8:13. I decided to take an easy because i had such a good week or running. Plus my problem with running at night then running in the morning! I did a heart rate check and before i started feeling weak my pulse was 138 and when i was feeling a little sick and weak my pulse 168. I am not sure if this means anything, so your guess is as good as mine!

Today’s run was not too bad my pace was 7:53. I saw my next door neighbor yesterday at the GYM and in the conversation he told me that should run a marathon and that I am ready. I don’t think I am ready, I have only been running an average of 35-39 miles a week on the treadmill. I honestly feel I am not sure if I can run the half-marathon very fast right now. Any suggestions??

When I ran today I was not sure how I would feel because of running last night and a little more than eight hours later running again. But, I did not do to bad and I even felt pretty good. My pace was 8:11 with not dizziness or getting the sick feeling. This is a good day for me..

What a day of running! I started out running good but then I started getting dizzy then it got worse as time went on. By this point I was almost at the half way point, so I then slowed down to get through the dizziness, which took almost a half mile of walking/jogging. So by this point is was at my three mile point and running at a 9:00 minute pace. Then I decided to run through the dizziness and I increased the speed faster and faster, I was hoping for at least 8:13 pace. But when I was closer to the finish I realized I could make eight minute mile pace so I increased the speed a lot more and ended up with 7:53 pace. So if I figured right my first three miles were nine minutes miles and my last two miles were 6:22, not to bad if I say so myself…

Today’s run I was feeling pretty good; I ran five miles at 06:53.40. I don’t like running on a Sunday, but I have a doctor appointment tomorrow. This may sound a little weird but I found out that I am allergic to my sweat and it causing me to itch during my runs. So I am going to the doctor and having this problem fixed. Let me try to explain this, I get treated for whatever the problem might be and for the next twenty five hours I have to avoid the area. For example I am allergic to my sweat so I will go to the doctor and get treated for sweating and then I have to avoid sweating for 25 hours and then I will no longer be allergic to my sweat. I know it sounds really weird but it works. I hope this makes sense if not I will try to explain it better, just let me know.  Also this is my cut back week, so this week I will be only running half of what I would normally run. This week off is what I need to help my body recover from all my long running weeks.

I felt really good today, my pace was 06:35.27. I was a little tired after ward. Tomorrow is the last of my short days. I am really glad for the cut back, but i am ready to get back to business of training for my half-marathon in April..

I started out running thinking I was going to run 7:30 per mile, and then I thought I would change it to 7:00. My final time was 68:05 which is 06:48.50 per mile. I almost ran outside, but running in 8 degree weather did not sound very much fun. I can hear Kory right now saying boo hoo. That is OK; I would rather run on the treadmill for ten miles than running out side in 8 degree temperature.

Today’s run went good, my pace was 7:13 or 7:19, I do not remember for sure. When I was running I added some incline to the machine, I started out with .5 and ended up with a 3.5. Then I did ten minutes on the stair stepper.

 My pace for three miles was 7:31 then I felt like I was getting dizzy so I took a couple minute break and drank some energy drink, and then finished off my last two miles at a 7:05 pace. I talked to my doctor this week and he told me the reason for my dizziness was my blood sugar dropped and told me to drink apple juice before I run. I did not have any apple juice so I substituted energy drink for it. I think next week I will drink the apple juice and see how that makes me feel.

I decided to run eleven miles today, and I just wanted to run around a 7:00 minute mile. But of course that did not happen; my pace was 06:47.27. I am not sure why I want to run so fast, but I sure feel good.

Not a bad day of running. I really wanted to rest my legs from Mondays run; so I ran 7:24 pace. The one thing about running on a treadmill is that I want to finish my run faster; maybe that is why I run faster than I would normally would.
