I felt a lot better running today, but also a sad day for me and my family. My son leaves today at 2:00 for boot camp. I think my running is helping me with my stress. My pace was 08:13.8 and my goal this week is to run 50 miles. Thanks for reading and have a great day!!
Ran eleven miles today, I am not sure what my pace was
because I was having trouble with my watch. I can say that my running felt
really good today, I think the cut back was a very good decision for me.I am not sure what to do about next week mileage.

I had a really good run. My legs were feeling good and my pace was not too bad. Th pace per mile was 8:16 and i had little pain in my legs. This is what i will be running this week.

Not a bad run today. My average pace was 8:00. Kory and i went over the race course for my race in November. i do have to say that it will not be to get a PR on this course. I need to do some training on hills to be able to run a good race. Thanks for reading and have a great night!!
Today's run went good. I ran on the treadmill and out of the six miles i ran three of them at a 4.0 incline. I am trying to get my legs use to running hills at a faster pace. I hope this helps... Thanks for reading and have a great day!!
I tried to run some more hill training today. I think i accomplished my goal.
1) No incline, warm up mile.
2) The incline was at 6. My pace was about 7:15 per mile.
3) The incline was at 1. My pace was about 8:30 per mile.
4) The incline was at 5. My pace was about 7:00 per mile.
5) The incline was at 1. My pace was about 8:30 per mile.
6) The incline was at 4. My pace was about 6:45 per mile.
I am not positive about the times, but i think they are close. But when i was done running i went to the local college, Idaho State University to there job fair. And boy did i find some good job opportunity. The jobs i found i would almost make two times the amount i am making now. I am faxing off my resume to two jobs this morning and i am praying that one of them work out. Anyway, thanks for reading and have a great day!!

Today i ran ten miles of the race course with my friend/cousin Kory. I do have to say that the areas i thought would be hard are not too bad, but the area i thought would be a little easier was was hard. I am very glad i was able to run it with Kory, he helped me to pace the course and get a good feeling of where to run and when i need to take my sports beans. My over all pace was a 7:32 and that is only 18 seconds per mile slower than my PR. I feel with Gods help i can at least run my 7:14 per mile pace. There is only two weeks before the race and i am now getting excited for the race. Next week we will be running the same ten miles to help us get use to get more familiar with the course. Good run today, my overall pace was 7:37. I bought new shoes yesterday with the help of Kory. Thanks Kory, i think they will be good running shoes. I was feeling good, but i am wondering if i am pushing myself too much before the race. I will try to slow down tomorrow and see how i feel. I also received my new racing shoes in today and they are really really nice. I think i will run in them tomorrow and try to break them in a little before my race, again thanks to Kory for the help in buying them. Not much else to say, but have a great day!!

Today i was trying to teach myself to relax while running fast. i think i stress myself out running at faster speeds. For me a 6:3? - 6:4? stresses me out, i think i can not handle running that fast for that long. So in my own way i was teaching myself not to stress out. Today i ran some of the course with Kory. I felt a little tired, but not too bad. Kory would take the lead and try to help me to push myself into running faster miles. I think it helped, because my overall pace was 7:17 which is like 3 seconds slower per mile than my PR. This course is not an easy course it is a series of up and down hill running. But i forgot to tell you in yesterdays blog that i have shin splints again. It is the same leg as last time and i think i have figured out why i keep getting them. When i run i put more pressure on that one leg than i do the other. So now i am back to wrapping my leg again. But thanks to Kory for referring me to his friend who is a massage therapist, i was able to get a full body massage and it think that will help my shin splints a lot. Then i went to the doctor and was treated for shin splints and stress. I think it helped me out, i guess we will see. Thanks for reading and have a great day!! :)

Todays run i picked it up a little. I ran five miles and three of them were at 8:27 and two of them were at a 6:58. My legs were feeling good. I also ran on the treadmill with a 0.5 incline. But today will be the last day i can run at lunch, i was told no more taking long lunches. So i guess that i will be running after work. I think i can still try to run a couple miles at lunch, but no more long runs. That sucks, but life goes on... Thanks for reading and have a great day!!
