Could not run very much today so i ran five miles at an 8:00 pace with no incline. But i do have to say coming back from Salt lake really sucked. The driving conditions was really bad. Have a good night!

Today’s run was a good! I ran ten miles at a 07:27.40 pace with a 0.5 incline.

  • ·         1 at a 8:00 pace with an 0.5 incline and my heart rate was around 145 BPM
  • ·         2 at a 6:58 pace with an 0.5 incline and my heart rate was around 158 BPM
  • ·         3 at a 6:58 pace with an 0.5 incline and my heart rate was around 158 BPM
  • ·         4 at a 6:40 pace with an 0.5 incline and my heart rate was around 164 BPM
  • ·         5 at a 6:40 pace with an 0.5 incline and my heart rate was around 166 BPM
  • ·         6 – 10 at a 8:00 pace with an 0.5 incline and my heart rate was around 151 BPM

My plan was to only run eight but I decided to use an Albuterol inhaler around mile five and I felt great so I decided to run ten instead of eight.  To help you understand why I did this is because at my job I work around a lot of toner that gets in the air and in my lungs and I feel that it hurts my running. So I wanted to try using the inhaler and see if it would help my breathing and I found out it does work.  Anyway I hope this makes sense and I hope you all have a great day!!

Since i have never ran this many miles before i took today really easy. I ran 4.10 with no incline at a 9.02 pace. I feel good, but i have a blister on my right foot. Morning: I had a very hard time sleeping last night. I am not sure why, but at 2:00 A.M. I took a nice hot shower and with lots of prayer I was able to go to sleep. I am really surprised how much my inhaler helps me out, I really love using it in the middle of my run. Because I feel like I just started my run. I ran seven miles at a 7:45 pace with a 0.5 incline. I do need some help! I am having a really hard time wanting to work on my core muscles. Any suggestions? Thanks and have a great day!

Evening: Ran another seven mile at a 8:10 pace with a 0.5 incline. Plus, i was able to get myself to do around 200 sit-ups!

Ran a little faster today. The Gym opened late and i did not wanted to miss out on any of my early morning nap, so i ran a little faster. My overall pace was 7:28 with a 0.5 incline. I am really starting to feel a difference with my sit-ups, why i am glad you asked. I am having a harder time doing them and my stomach muscles are feeling stronger. Morning: I think my legs were soar today because of running yesterday faster than i am use too. But i did it and i am now done with the morning run. I will be running this after noon so i can have some what of a long day of running. My pace was a 7:53 at a 0.5 incline.  Not much else to say, but have a great  Friday morning.

I was feeling brave this morning and before church i took a wonderful ICE BATH. I know you all are very jealous and wish you were me, but you too can take an ice bath and freeze. I do have to say that my legs felt really good running today and i guess it was worth freezing! Anyway, i ran seven miles at an 7:37 pace with an 0.5 incline. Morning:My left calf is feeling a little tight, so i will have to start using my PVC to roll the knots out. But other than that i had a good run this morning. I felt good today running today, I am usually tired from a two a day. I think my body is adjusting to my two a day running, I hope. Anyway, ran seven miles at a 7:50 pace with a 0.5 incline. I also think my mp3 player is dieing because of all the sweat being soaked into it, that’s ok because I have back up to replace that one. I had a very weird run today. It is very hard to explain so please take my word for it. I ran seven miles at a 7:13 pace with a 0.5 incline. But I do have to say taking the Albuterol made a big difference when I was speeding up at the end of my run. The funny thing is that my legs are not really soar. I think that is a very good thing. Anyway, not much going on today just work and then I have to go see a movie with my wife after work. I am not really into scary movie but my wife wants to see the movie “My bloody valentine.” Tonight is our date night and she really wants to see that movie for date night. But as a side note I did watch that movie "My bloody Valentine" and it was not as bad as I thought. Morning: Nice easy run today. I felt a little sick, but not too bad. Ran another seven miles at a 07:43.43 pace with a 0.5 incline. I think I am sounding like a broken record. Anyway, not much planed for today. When I get off work I am going to run another seven miles with a 0.5 incline. Now I know I sound like a broken record. I am a chaplain at the local Juvenile Detention center and today’s my day to go in.  I really do look forward to going; I think that they teach me more than I teach them. Today was a good day of running. I ran eight miles at an 7:20 pace with a 0.5 incline. But i also did speed drills with an average of 6:56 for five miles out of the eight. I was feeling really good. Morning: Not too bad of a morning, except I had to go to the bathroom a lot. So my first miles were in 8:00 then my next 3 1/2 miles were at 7:41 then the last 2 1/2 was around 7:28 with all of them being at a0.5 incline.  Evening: I am a little tired after my nine mile run tonight. I ran it in an 8:14 pace at 0.5 until the last half mile and I jumped it up to 1.0. I am so proud of myself. I will not do my sit-ups tonight. I am really tires and I think I will go to bed early. So now I am going to sit around the house and do nothing but watch TV and try to stay awake. Morning: After yesterday run I thought I was really going to be soar this morning, but I was not. I did take it a little slower so I would not hurt myself. As I was about 1/4 of the way through I was feeling good so I started running faster, but not fast enough that I would hurt myself. My overall pace was a 7:58 with a 0.5 incline. Not much planed for today, except work and running after work. I think I am going to go to the doctor after work. The doctor told me a while ago that he thought that I was not digesting my food right and I think I am going to get that checked out. He told me that he thinks that might be affecting the way I am running. Because I am not getting all the stuff out of food that my body needs to run on. Evening: Doctor Appointment went good. No problems with my digestive system. I went running my usual seven miles at 07:54.29 with a 0.5 incline. All I want to do now it watch TV and rest.

Morning: Another day of running seven miles in the morning and seven in the afternoon. But that is ok because I am reaching my goal of 70 this week faster, so the last part of the week I can relax. My legs were a little soar, but not to bad. My pace was a 7:57 with a 0.5 incline. I think I need to add more incline, because my body has adjusted to that height and I am back to having a hard time loosing weight. Anyway, not much going on today the wife is out of town until tomorrow and it is just me and the dog. Now it is time to take my morning nap before going to work, I tell you that the nap helps me so I am not in a bad mood at work. Thanks for reading and have a great day!

 

Evening:Tonight my shin was a little soar, but not to bad. Ran seven miles at a 8:13 pace at a 0.5 for six miles and one mile was at a 1.0. I am so proud of myself. Tonight i think i am going to be lazy and just eat and watch TV. If i can get my TV fixed! And while i am thinking about it i hope the Steelers WIN on Sunday! Do i have an AMEN? Later: Not much to say, but ran my normal seven miles at a 7:57 pace with a 0.5 for six miles and one miles at 1.0 No running tonight, because I am just way to tired and would like to take the night off. Kory has talked me into taking tomorrow off and running with him Saturday eleven miles to make my 70 for the week. My shin is still a little soar but not too bad. I had a good run today with Kory another blog member. We ran 11:02 at an 7:06 pace. I am trying to get my Garmin working to give me my times. I think these are my times. And boy was it cold this morning. I think the temperature in the mountains was twelve degrees and in town i would say it was around seven degrees. When i was done running i had ice hanging off my cap.  My legs are pretty soar right now. I think for my run today i will treat myself to a Jamba Juice :). Anyway i did my goal of 70 miles and for next week i will step it up a notch to 80 before i do my cut back week. I do have to say i feel good overall for the second time running 70 miles in a week.
