Went to the doctor yesterday because of having trouble breathing while running. Was treated and today's run felt a little better, i think. Anyway ran five miles at a 7:04 pace..
Had a good run this morning. Ran four at a 7:03 pace. I do feel that the treatment i had the other day is really helping my breathing. Also, my wife told me to start taking this medication this morning to help get rid of mrsa infection. She works around a lot of infections like that and she thinks i have some signs of it. Anyway, thanks for reading and have a great day! :-)
A.M.: Had a good run, i think. I ran three miles at a 7:28 pace.
P.M.: Feeling sick and will not be running Just Cuz Half marathon. That really sucks. I trained so hard for this race and now it is slipping through my fingers. But, God is in control and I will thank Him through the good times and bad. Thanks You Jesus!!!!
Had a good run with Kory this morning. We had some great conversation and i really enjoyed running with him. Thanks Kory! I was feeling good and on the last mile i wanted to kick it up a little and see what i could do and i am happy with the results. Now i am going to the movie (by myself) and out to eat. God bless you all and have a great day and weekend!
Ran on the treadmill today. I think running outside is why i keep getting sick. Ran one mile warm-up and four miles at marathon pace and a mile cool down. My overall average was 6:38 with a 1.0 incline. Thanks for reading and have a great day!
A.M.: Had a good run this morning. The weather was awesome if you minus the wind. I ran six miles at a 7:05 pace.
P.M.: A good afternoon of running. Ran four miles at a 6:48 pace. It was so nice out side i ran in shorts. I almost forgot how nice that is. Anyway, Thanks for reading and have a great day!
Legs were sore this morning, so i did not know how my run was going to go. But, i think it went well, I did my two mile warm up and 5 @ 4:00 at a 6:15 to 6:30 pace then two mile cool down with eight 100 Meter strides. I could feel the soreness in the legs, but it felt good to do some speed work. My overall pace was 6:47. This is my only run for today. Thanks for reading and have a great day!
I took an ice bath last night and it sure was cold, but it sure did its job for today's run. Ran eight miles at a 7:01 pace. Wow, i am sure boring to read. Anyway, thanks for reading and have a great Friday 13th and a great weekend! :-)
P.S.: Is there anyone out there going to see the movie 2012? I would sure like your oppinion on that show. Do you think it is going to happen?
Day of rest.I will not be typing much this week. When i went running Saturday i fell on the snow and ice and hurt my wrist and i am having trouble typing. So thanks for reading and have a great week.
A.M.: Six miles at a 6:53 pace with a 1.0 incline.
P.M.: Four miles on the t-mill at a 6:53 pace with a 1.5 incline. Also went to the doctor today and had my wrist x-rayed and it looks like i have a chipped bone in my wrist. So they told me to keep a brace on my wist and go back in two weeks. Have a great day!
I had a good run this morning. I did a two mile warm up then (5) 4 minutes between 6:15 - 6:30 pace. So three of my miles were 6:20, 6:24 and 6:07. Then two mile cool down. Overall i am very happy with this run. Thanks for reading and have a great day! :-)
Ran with Kory this morning and let me say that the wind was nasty, really nasty. Kory did an awesome job. So my overall pace was 6:56 and part of that is i just started out too fast. Anyway, thanks for reading and have a great day!
Day off from running. Then tomorrow I start looking for a
job. I do know that "if God brings you too it; He will bring you through
it." I am not mad at loosing my job just upset the way they did it.

There were a lot of people there, I am thinking around 200.
The race started good a little windy, but nothing too bad. My pace in the
beginning was around 5:30 minutes
per mile and after looking at that I decided that I needed to slow down. When I
race I try to run my last mile faster than my first that helps me from going to
fast in the beginning. But I was feeling good and wanted to push it a
little. So I took a risk and tried to keep my per mile pace around 6.00. It was
funny I passed this high school kid and the guy behind me told him not to let
me pass. But I passed and I was able to gain a little on him. And that same kid
caught back up with me and passed me, but he timed it wrong and I was able to
use him as a shield from the wind. I am not sure if that was that cheating, but
that is what happened. The first place finisher was a BYU college student and
there were a lot of High school students. I am happy with the race. My per
miles average was 6:03 and that is a
PR for me. After the race my wife told me what happened when I was running into
the finish line. She said that the announcer was saying "I know this
person and that person up to me and when he seen me coming in he said that he
did not know me and that we should cheer me in." I guess the way he said it
was really funny. Thanks for reading and have a great day…
Ran six miles at a 6:36 pace on the t-mill at a 1.0 incline. I was feeling a little tired but i think it was from the race last week. Also the treadmill i was using stopped me at a 1/2 hour of running, so i had to restart the machine to finish my run. Have a good night
