Nice easy pace today 8:34 per mile. When I started running my leg did not hurt and it really surprised me but it was a good surprise. What I am doing different is I am foam rolling the inside of my calf. But my legs are really soar now, so I think tonight I will take a ice bath. Sounds like fun, right. I know you are really jealous. But I do plan on running tonight after work at least two miles. Thanks for reading and have a great afternoon..

Evening...

Ran two miles at a 8:57 pace. I wanted to keep running, but i though that might be too much on my leg so I kept it to two miles. Thanks for reading and have a great night!!!

Mmmmmm ice bath! Fun!

Good idea to stop, since your legs were sore in the morning... Have a great day!

Smart running! How was the ice bath? Be sure to do it maurine's way. #1 sit in empty bath, #2 fill with cool/cold water, #3 add ice. #4 sit and freeze :) #5 hot bath. I get goose bumps just thinking about it. Wearing a hoddie helps too.

Thanks for the comment. My ice bath would have been good, but my water heater went out and I could not take a hot bath. Boy was I really bummed, and also cold. So take a word from the wise and make sure your water heater is working before taking an ice bath. And the way I take my ice bath is 1) fill tub, 2) add ice and then 3) freeze getting in the tub. Have a great day....
