PM- Hurricane Rim to canal with Marieta, George, and Star. George wanted to see the tunnels so I took them down to the canal section. George and I both hit our heads in a tunnel. We followed the canal out instead of hooking back to to the rim. 4.79 miles

| | AM- Went on a Ross adventure this morning with George. Ran through the Red Cliffs Desert Reserve eventually connecting Prospector. A good mix of sand, rock, scrambling, and getting wet. 10.61 miles
PM- Bloomington Loop in the cool air enjoying the stars. 4.55 miles
It was a strong week for me! I'm even mixing in some speed with high schoolers that should help my overall training.

| | Red Cliffs Reserve with the team. Ended running most of the run with Pyper, Brooklyn, and Brinley. The time went by fast and the conversation was good. We even came across the dinosaur tracks on accident. Added 5 with Scottie and Holt. 10.27 miles

PM- Warmed up with the girls before their 1600 just to find out the meet started at 4. So I had an hour to burn. I ran to the hills (killed a prairie dog with a rock en route). Ended up heading up the C Trail for a little bit. I will return another day. 5.89 miles

| | AM- I struggled to run with the boys this morning. I lost the group on the uphills in Green Springs. I tried catching up but stomach issues were slowing me down. I compromised and ran with Gianno for a little bit. I stopped at Boilers Park to go to the bathroom. Then I ran 2 fireman hills where I ran into the big group of boys. I ran the rest of the way with them. So I guess things worked out. 8.54 miles

| | 2+ mile warm up running up to the water tower on the Mesa before the race.
So I started the Southern Utah Half and came out strong (on those crazy downhill miles). AM- My stomach was feeling a little off before the race started but I didn't think much of it. By time I got to Sullivan I had to go to the bathroom. I knew this was going to add some minutes to my chip time. I tried to make up for lost time but still had lingering tummy issues. By mile 6 I was over the race and took a right turn off the trail amd onto riverside. I took off my bib and just ran on the road to Bloomington. I didn't want the pressure of feeling like I was in a race anymore. My stomach was less of a problem when I slowed down. Then some old lady swerved over the white line and nearly killed me! Luckily I saw it coming and I was able to get out of the way. I swore up a storm after the full realization of the danger hit me. Hurried home and watched a great outing for PV at the D-Hells Invite.
