| MandP workout. Cleans, squats, chest and abs. Heavy lift day, legs were tired. 2, 1 mile runs on the track. Stress fracture not bothering me, but PF is inflamed. I would have tought that 9 weeks off of the darn foot would have helped. Maybe it is my shoes after all? 60 minutes on the stair climber. 900+ calories burnt, yeah right!

30 minutes of weight reps at the gym. 100 pushups and tons of shoulders and arm stuff. Burning arms, OUCHy MaMa! 1 hour on that stair machine. Sweat and another 900 calories. I hope that machine doesn't lie. All exercises performed at the West Valley Rec Center.

AM spin class Heavy duty, deep powder prowling through fluffy fresh snow. I tried my best to be an "aggressive" skier. Double black diamond skiing all day. Legs are dead. :) Conditions were absolutely perfect.

WOW!!! What a great workout! Since I have been cross training I have noticed that my intense workouts are on the slim side. 1.5 hour spin class. 1 mile swim in 30 minutes, yipee! 3 miles on the track at whipping speed for me. I feel good and almost athletic. Thanks for pushing me in the pool RAD, without you I would not have swam. Oh how I need more swimming. *Evening snowshoeing with a friend. Oh my goodness the trail was beautiful at sunset. So peaceful and refreshing. *Evening massage. My therapist took good care of me. 1 hour on my back, one hour on my silly left foot and leg. My foot was soooo tight. I can actually almost walk pain free today. I am going to get a massage at least three times this month to see if the left side of my body will return back to proper stucture.

3 really slow and easy miles. It felt really good. I would walk for .25 on the TM with an incline of 11 and then run .50 on 6.7 speed. Hopefully I will have more time to go back to the gym tonight.

| Fun day! 5 AM spin class 1.6 miles with the track team! I think I am going to love coaching track. I love running with some of my students and encouraging them. What was the phrase that kept them going today? Me telling them, "Think of all you friends right now eating nachos! You guys are the bomb! " I love encouraging the female runners especially. 50 minutes on the stair stepper @ West Valley Rec Center. My Dance Co. also performed tonight and did an AWESOME job. I am one proud teacher today. I have never mentioned this on the blog, but my students call me "Ramp-Dog." No lie. Yesterday I signed up to volunteer at the St. George Ironman on May 1st. I am totally stoked to help those athletes.

.75 with the track team. I wanted to run with them, but they made me tell them their lap splits. Those little stinks! I also watched the kids do the long jump today. Track is more exciting than I thought. PM spin class. My schedule is so busy for the next few weeks and I don't know how I am going to fit all of my workouts in. :(

More than a mile at the pool in about 40 minutes. MandP workout @ West Valley rec. Some HUGE muscle man came and told me he was proud of me for lifting such heavy duty weights. He was impressed because most ladies just run miles and miles. Then I told him I would rather run miles and miles. I did a machine called a "ROPE TOW." MY upper body got a terrific workout. BUSY BUSY day. AMAZING AMAZING day as well.

| Last night (Friday) I stayed at a cabin up Big Cottonwood Canyon with friends. I had so much fun playing games, laughing, and getting to know people. I planned to leave early Saturday morning for my big workout. Well, that failed and I stayed up there until the afternoon. I woke up before everyone else and hit the snowy, icy, trails. I softly jogged up toward Doughnut Falls and left the snowshoes I was carrying on the side of the trail. On the way back down I passed cross country skiers that were also enjoying the lovely morning. I got back to where I had placed my snowshoes, and they were gone! I figured the skiers had taken them so I ran all the way back up the hill to catch them. They told me they saw the snowshoes and threw them behind a log on the other side of the path. I was a little annoyed. It took me about 10 minutes to find where they had put the snowshoes. Went back to the cabin and ate some breakfast. After breakfast everyone wanted to go up to the falls, so back up to the falls I went! The falls are beautiful! It's an easy trail and I will be going back in the spring to run it. Got home, went to the gym and did 6 miles in 50 minutes on the TM. The leg is feeling a lot better. I lifted for about 30 minutes after that.

| Try a TRI! I met RAD at the L.C. for our usual Tri day! It's amazing to think that today we ran side by side. We face challenges in our lives and yet we learn more than we realize while we are in the moment of difficulty. I am happy that I have had Rachel to turn to through the last few months. One of the best things about running is the strong relationships that we build with other runners. Rachel tells me that she is 6 months prego. I am telling you she does not look it! Nor does she skip a beat in her workouts. I am proud of you RAD. 1 hour spin class. Intensity was high and diffficult. I felt really good. 6.2 miles around the track. 3 with RAD, 3 on my own. 1 mile swim. I started fading toward the end.

Interesting evening run to say the least. Meant to go eight but before the turn around I had to use the restroom. Stopped at a church. Another 2 miles went and I had to use the bathroom again. Second bathroom break, not so lucky. Found a bush. On my home I saw my friend so I stopped and walked about a mile with her. Great evening. ManP workout + some. Arms are still sore from Monday's workout. AP 7:40. I think that last mile could have brought the AP down.

Today I questioned myself whether or not I would run. I downloaded new tunes (30 Seconds to Mars) and convinced myself to test my endurance.
Almost 11 miles at a 7:45 AP! I am proud and feel really rejuvenated. I did take 4 pit stops due to GI issues. Mix of snow, sleet and rain. AmAzInG music. Went to the gym and swam a mile.
