Workout consisted of alternating between elliptical and stair master. Stairs 60 min TT levels 10-16 15 min elliptical level 7 Shoulder hurts today. Hmmm, guess I did break my scapula 2 weeks ago... Range of motion is coming back it's at about a 5 out of 10. Lateral extension is still not there. Slowly, but surely I am healing. :)

Spin class. It's been two weeks since I have been on a bike and the class went rather well for me. I still can't put any weight on my right arm. Hopefully in about a week or two I might be back on the road doing the real thing on my old bike. :(
PM I went to a Triathlon clinic at Powertri! It was really fun getting to know a lot of triathlon crazies... Anyway, the clinic was about the mental side of racing, I loved it! The sports psychologist gave a lot of advice on how to deal with injuries, racing, and preparing for a race (mentally)! Great relaxation tactics as well. I won free Skull Candy ear buds and a free shirt. Lots of giveaways. I am already excited to race next Spring! A Triathlon of course...

*Today I moved TONS of costumes, books, and chairs from the old Granite High school to my classroom. Granite High was a little on the creepy side. I even saw the pool that was still full of water. The school has been closed for over a year and it looked as if the teachers just up and left all of their supplies. |

I went for an official run! I think it's been 10 weeks since I have actually pounded the pavement. Ran down to Sugarhouse Park for 2 laps and back up to my place. I used the bathroom three times during my run. I know that my belly is not used to running as it has been in the past. Run felt AMAZING! I have no idea how I will pull St. George Marathon off, so we shall see. No pain.

I ran with only my stop watch. Ran from my house up to Sunnyside. Went up Sside past the zoo, turned around and ran down to 1700 E, ran south until 2100 and headed east back up to my place. I had no clue how far this run was until I clocked it in my car. I went exactly 10 miles. No pain. :) |
