| I would have liked to run 10, but I only had time to run 7. It was on the indoor track, and it was really boring.
I am actually glad that I didn't run anymore because my body was not having it. Hip flexors and ankles were sore.

| 2 miles on the outdoor track pushing Naomi. This wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. She slept the entire miles. It was a workout pushing the stroller.
1 mile on the TM and then Naomi woke up and I had to feed her.
Naomi would not go back to sleep so I pushed her on the indoor track. There is no elevator up to the track so I had to carry the stroller up a flight of stairs, geez. Naomi was awake the entire run and looked around the whole time. I got 4 miles in and called it good when she started crying.
Came home and did T25 Cardio.

| Ran around the bsae with Naomi in the stroller. That really gave me a workout! Ran 9 miles with her. It got really hot so we went to the gym and did 3 miles on the track. She got hungry and so I had to feed her at 9 miles (in the gym bathroom), and then she fell asleep.
First double digit run since 8 months ago!

| 14 miles and it was REALLY hot!
I fed N in the morning while David did the first half of his run. He got back and she wasn't done eating, so he kept running. We ran together for about 5 with N in the stroller and he pushed. I was happy to get a break from that and let David have a try.
I had 9 more miles to go... Filled a bottle with ice water and headed back out. By mile 10 I fell apart. Every time I saw shade I would sit in it.
Got to Subway and refilled my bottle with ice water and it was super refreshing. I made it home alive in one piece. It was 90 degrees by then. AP 8:53

| 6 miles on the indoor track, most of it pushing the stroller. Ran 2 miles worth of fast miles. First time doing somewhat real speed work post baby, that was interesting. It felt good letting my legs go as fast as I could.
Baby would sleep better if I ran as fast as I could. When baby was asleep I would park her on the side of the track and see her every time I passed. It's a nice place to run minus it's 13 times around to make a mile and the fact that it's upstairs and there is no elevator. That becomes a task when you have to lift the stroller up the stairs.

| Shout out to myself. I am just really proud of my mileage and motivation for the week. I am a new mom and so far I am making this running thing work. SO FAR.
David and I had a 16 miler planned on the books and we weren't sure how we were going to make this work with little N. We decided he would run first, I would get ready and feed the baby and then he would come and get us.
Plans worked out. I ran the first 8 miles with David and he pushed the stroller. Naomi did so well as she looked up at us just strolling around in her diaper. Just about the cutest thing ever. After over an hour we took Naomi home. I got water, gatorade, an AMAZING salted caramel GU and changed my shirt (I was soaked).
Went back out and did the remaing miles at below an 8:30 pace on hills. It was about 80 at this point, so I felt really well about this run.

| Not the best start to the week. I didn't get to run yesterday and I have eaten way TOO much junk over the weekend. Oh well, my baby girl still loves me.
Ran on the track, like a hampster. It's really the only thing I can do around here if I sleep in. It's just too hot and I can't run outside with N in high temps. So 104 times around the track.

| Seriously, this track thing is killing me. I need to get up real early I guess. It's just hard because I always want to go back to bed after I feed Naomi. This morning she ate and then slept next to me for a few hours. We just cuddled and then she smiled at me a ton. I love my little girl and being a Mommy, as of now... She has stolen my heart. When she smiles at me, I melt and I will do anything for her.
Anyway, all of that has nothing to do with running. At least I ran 6?

| Ran the base with N while it was still pretty cool out. She was asleep and I found myself in the gym around mile 6. Hopped on the TM do to some speed work. 4 miles at 7:26 AP. One min fast, one min slow for the last two miles. I never do speed work, partly to do with the baby stroller I am always pushing around, partly to do with the pain I want to avoid. Nice run today.

| 18 miles on the base. These long runs have been much easier this marathon because I get to do about half of each long run with David at a slower tempo for him because he pushes the stroller. I am lucky to have David this marathon to train with, blessed in fact. It's much more exciting when both of us are training for a long distance race, he seems to get more excited about running.
He started running a little before 5 am. I woke up at the same time and waited about 45-50 minutes to wake Naomi up. I fed her and David was back before I had gotten myself ready. He had started so I early so I wouldn't have to be in the heat as long, which was really nice of him. He got Naomi in her stroller and I got myself ready.
We left before it was light out and Naomi looked really confused in the stroller. She just watched me as I ran for the few miles she was awake. I lust love looking at that baby in just her diaper looking around as we run, it's something rather special. We ran about 7 miles and then David was finished.
I kept running and my pace dropped as the heat kept rising. It was a very humid moring and i had to change my shirt 3 times and my shorts twice during the run. I just managed to completely soak all of my running attire. With three miles remaining, I found myslef downing Gatorade and water at a raid pace. I never CRAVE gatorade like I do in the Texas summer heat, it tastes heavenly.
Managed my 18 before 9:30 and it was really hot. (80+). David's parents are coming down for a few weeks so we will have some babysitters for our last few long runs. :) I wonder if he will just push an empty stroller for the fun of it. Knowing him, he would.
