| 8 miles on the TM. Almost got all of the 10 Yasso's in on the TM, but baby woke up and I had to leave since other moms were trying to soothe her. I did about 9 Yasso's (800s) at a 8.7 or 8.8 on the TM with a 400 rest between each. Felt EZ. I am sure they would not feel that great on a track, where they are meant to be done.

| Very humid out this morning, but on 80 degrees. I ran with the stroller for about 6 miles and then dropped Naomi off with my friend while I kept running. Jumped in the shower and switched my friend so she could go to the gym. I was happy to get somewhat of a long run in since we are leaving town this weekend.

| 30 min on the ARC trainer. There were two ladies on the two TMs in the Mother's Room. Kinda bugged me since they were walking, oh well I X trained instead. Baby woke up 30 min into my workout anyway, so I left.
Came home and did Lower Focus T25.

| We are vacationing at South Padre Island. I got up pretty early to feed Naomi, so I just got ready and went for my run. This was one of those runs, the best kinds of runs... The last mile and a half I ran on the beach at sunrise, it was beyond gorgeous. I was one of the only ones at the beach this time, I was lucky to be a runner,
While I was running at 6:30 in the darkness, there was no one out. At mile 1.5 some random guy passed me on a Segway, it scared the crap out of me and then it just made me chuckle a little.
I got back and David left for his 12 miles. I took Naomi for a long walk on the beach while she slept in the stroller. Lots of people out walking the shore line. Just beautiful. Got back to the hotel when David did. He said that was one of the worst places to run and he had a horrific time. Strange how two different people can get the opposite point of view running the same place.

| MMG hill climbs. Got to 1110 ft. Don't know how this happened because all of my rests were at 1% instead of 0%.
N woke up at 4.25 miles into the workout, arrrrr. But then she watched me until i got to 7 miles. :) We went upstairs and ran 2 miles.
They were practicing military funeral services in the gym. Thought it was pretty creepy when they rolled a coffin into the gym.

| What happens when a cold front comes to Texas? AWESOME running weather, that is what happens. I think this was the BEST long run I have ever had in my life. 8:05 AP
David started out a 5:30 am and I laid in bed until 6. Got up and dressed, fed Naomi and ate a banana. I didn't get out the door until around 7 am. When I stepped outside it was misting and it felt WONDERFUL. Actually I felt rather cold (68).
We started out pretty quick, around an 8 mm and I was concerned because I still had a LONG way to go and David was on the back end of his LR. He pushed the stroller and he was going like it wasn't even hard. Around the 7 mile mark, it down poured. We had to seek shelter because we didn't want Naomi to get wet. We stood under a car port at the dorms and we ran back and forth underneath. I bet anyone watching thought we were NUTS.
We started back up and it felt good again. I dropped David off around the 9 mile mark, changed my shirt, drank Gatorade and was off again. I ran 5 more miles and came back home for my 2nd Caramel GU.
The last 6 miles I decided I would pick the pace up and do speed work at the end of my LR. I came out of my house and there was a female runner I tried to stay with for a long time. I looked down at my watch and we were going around a 7 mm. I just smiled because I was on mile 15, I bet she was on mile 2 or something. She still beat up to the West gate. Man, I need to find out who she is so I can run with her. Probably a student from the Academy here for UPT.
I decided I would run as fast as I could down a hill, recover and climb back up at a steady pace. I did this 4x. Last mile was a cool down. When my watch hit 20, I stopped it and looked at my AP. I swore out loud!!! This was the fastest I have ever gone on a LR. I was super proud of my performance, I feel REALLY ready for SGM. I would be cool to PR, but I am not planning to.
I saw 3 baby trianchulas, 2 dead toads and 1 dead prarie dog. hmmm.
Next 3 weeks and we will see what I can do as far as speed. David and I are both getting stoked about SGM!

I was officially kicked off the track by MEAN lady MARTHA because I have a child under 12.... REALLY STUPID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just looked at mean lady Martha and said, "Well, I guess I will just let my baby scream in the Mother's Room."
She obviously never has had anything to do with kids and fitness. Later as I was leaving the gym I burst into tears. One thing I can control is running on the track. I can't control the heat or when N is going to wake up screaming in the Mother's Room, Sometimes a gym with no childcare and people that don't understand what it's like to train with a child can make me say SWEAR WORDS! I will repent and never run when MEAN lady MARTHA is working again. AMEN.
Plus there is never any more than two people on that track at a time. It wasn't like Naomi was going to get out of the stroller and start running around (she is 3 months). And I think I wouldn't run into anyone with the stupid jogger.

| I ran 3.5 miles when David got back from his run and then I took Naomi out for the rest. Got to mile 7.25 and did 3 miles on TM @ 7:30 AP.
I saw half of a squirrel on the side of the road. Just the lower part, it was terrifying. Naomi got like 10 bug bites.
As I was running on a 9.0 on the TM a worker man was watching me. Later he said I look like I meditate while I jog. The only thing about that statement is that he called me a jogger.

| I was extra sleepy on today's run because Naomi woke up around 4 for her feeding and David came back around 545 to join him on his run. Naomi didn't go back to sleep until about mile 2.5. We ran and argued, we were both really tired. I just wanted this run to be over.
Ran 7 with David. He was joking that he would probably beat the sunrise today, well he did. We got home and I changed my shirt, ate GU, and drank Gatorade with my second salt stick. Out the door I went for another 8 miles.
There was another lady running up to the West Gate so of course I had to push my pace to beat her. Did that and I got really tired. I am glad I wasn't doing my 20 miler today because I would have parked on the side of the road for a nap.p
The last 4 miles I ran up and down the hills. My gutt just hurt all morning. I was so happy when I hit 15, I walked. 8:02 AP. I was impressed I could pull that off with the super humid morning and feeling like junk. I was DRIPPING with sweat when I got home. Gross
