Utah Valley Marathon 2013: PR 3:16:20, 1st division.

Running With the Bulls 5k 2011: 20:02, 1st place

Race For The Cure 10k, San Antonio 2013: 42:47, 2nd overall

Short-Term Running Goals:

Run a sub 3:20 @ Air Force Marathon 2015.

Sub 20 min 5k

 

Long-Term Running Goals:

Run a 3(ish) hour marathon before I am 40.

6 miles at 8:08 AP.  I was so happy about this fast run!  I do feel pretty large and this was all the speed I could get out of my legs.

8 really slow miles with Hilary and her dog.  I don't know how I will ever be able to run marathons again.  My body was just so OVER only 8 miles!  Scary thought.

7 miles on the TM at the gym after work.  I was happy to get a workout in.  Some fast miles, but my body is kind of done going fast now.

This one a faster paced run.  I actually don't know the pace because I didn't stop my watch when I went to the bathroom.  50s out, nice and cool.  Beautiful sunrise.

Progressive tempo run.  Didn't plan that, it just happened that way.  First mile was 8.40, 8:26, 8;20, 8:10 (didn't see the 5th mile) and 8:10.  Great run.  Tried to run fast becuase I was running a tad late.  Got it done.

Right quad still gets randomly fatigued and tuckered out throughout the day, it's strange.

6 with David during the Boston Marathon.  We came back home and watched the winners cross, fun see that physical and mental battle!

Ran half a mile to warmup while I waited for David to get ready.  My legs were still completely beat from Tues.  I was reeeeealllllyyy slow.  By mile 2 I turned back around and went home I was so depressed about my running.  

Ate candy the rest of the day. Nice.

10 slow and easy miles on the TM.  It was a progressive run that started at 6.5 and moved up one notch every half mile.  Took me a long time, but I was still happy that double digit run was burried somewhere inside of me.

4 miles at the slowest snails pace ever.  10 minute miles yo! I cried at a mile and half and David told me it was ok to be like this.  I am 8 months prego I guess, it 's ok to feel like mud certain days.  Just so exhausting.  But he was right, I was so happy to be over and done with this run when I got home.

Getting slower by the week.... 8:28 AP today.  I felt like I lay on the ground and fall asleep.  How do overweight people (like really big people) live like this???? Not in a mean way.... I just feel like I have 0% energy and I am so heavy ALL over!!!!! I am happy to be 31 weeks and still running.  Don't know how long this will all last!
