We are vacationing at South Padre Island. I got up pretty early to feed Naomi, so I just got ready and went for my run. This was one of those runs, the best kinds of runs... The last mile and a half I ran on the beach at sunrise, it was beyond gorgeous. I was one of the only ones at the beach this time, I was lucky to be a runner,
While I was running at 6:30 in the darkness, there was no one out. At mile 1.5 some random guy passed me on a Segway, it scared the crap out of me and then it just made me chuckle a little.
I got back and David left for his 12 miles. I took Naomi for a long walk on the beach while she slept in the stroller. Lots of people out walking the shore line. Just beautiful. Got back to the hotel when David did. He said that was one of the worst places to run and he had a horrific time. Strange how two different people can get the opposite point of view running the same place.
