30 min AB class
TM class. I felt like was running on an incline the entire class, my legs were so dang tired! After the class, I switched over to the TM next to mine, the run felt so much better. I was talking to the instructor about the TM and she told me some of the TMs are just more stubborn than others. She then looked down and noticed that my TM was on an incline. The whole machine was resting on a five inch power strip cover. I had been running on incline the entire time! We both had a good laugh. :) |

| I am counting the BBK workout as 9.5 miles today. 3 miles warm up 3x400 speed work with 200 rests between each 2x1200 with 400 rest between each 1 mile cool down. I am not at all pleased with my running and speed lately. I know that where I am at, is where I am at... If that makes any sense. I'm ready to not be so lazy so I can see the speed come back into my running.

Slowest half I have done in 6 years and I won? Can't say this was really a race....
Started 30 minutes late... Got really warm.
First 7 miles I put in at 54 minutes. I got hot, didn't care, got lost, and then ran extra mileage to get to a drinking fountain. My kind of race! Was all for a good cause, too bad no one showed up! Guess the RD needs to advertise a little more.
Nice to build some self confidence... I even got an overall medal, tee hee. |
