| Early TM miles. I was on a TM next to "Spandey." Spandey is some dude always wearing you-got-it, spandex. He thinks he is going fast on his TM, but that particular TM is messed up on the speed setting. Went back to the gym during lunch and lifted. 2 more fast miles on the TM. *Danced ALL day long. Fun, but my foot with PF becomes inflamed when I do this. *PM workout: ICE-SKATING!! I almost love ice-skating as much roller-skating.

| Afternoon run after a 3 hour nap! I thought that I would take this as an easy run, but my body will have none of that. I went on a new trail by my house and I really enjoyed it. I saw 3 HUGE dogs that I had to yell at that were in fenced areas. There was a big friendly unleashed dog with his owners that started coming after me. Luckily the pup was well mannered and listened to his masters. The trail led me through an area of Lehi I have never really noticed. Funny how running helps me be more observant of my surroundings. AP 7:33. I took two little breaks at the ends of the trail. PM MandP weights. Today my students kept asking me to flex for them. I think the program is wokring. :)

Trying to decide what to do with my running. Go up to the mountains? Hit the TM? This air is terrible! Worst in the nation. So...I went on the TM 5 miles and 2 miles on the track. Pretty sure I have a STRESS FRACTURE in my lower left leg. GGRRRR. I am so frustrated. I am taking the week off from running. Doesn't ever help that I won't slow down for the life of me when I am on the TM. Hopefully I will me ready for next week, but most likely no.

Triathlon training in session! Not by choice. AM Swam a mile plus change in 40 minutes. I think I forgot how to swim. I kept running into the lane and now there is a big bruise on my elbow. And people tell me running is dangerous?
PM spin class. I worked my HR up to 180. No matter how hard I work, I swear it will not go past that. I have found that I really enjoy spin class because I get to close my eyes. Crazy, but for some reason closing my eyes helps.
Body feels good. Gotta love xtraining!

Spin class with Coach Mike. I swear this guy is a coach of some sorts. He came to class in a BYU jump suit ready to kick our trash. When the class started he was hardly on his bike, he was down on the floor encouraging the class. He asked me if I was biker because of my biking form. I am told him I am a runner! This is was the first class of the week that actually felt like I was on my real road bike.

| I still have not gone to the doctor's to seek an opinion on my leg. All of the signs of my leg are pointing to a stress fracture, and that's that. I am not running for a few weeks until I am healed. Besides, it's a great excuse to get out of the smoggy pollution. I am little depressed that I won't be able to run Painter's, but such is life. 1 hour spin class with SPANDEY a.k.a Skinny Danny. His class is one of my least favorites. About half of the class I spend thinking how obnoxious he is. I still managed to have a dang hard workout. 90 minutes of pool running with RAD!!! Those 90 minutes flew as we chatted in the small pool. It was so great to spend time with a great friend that is going through some of the same frustrations I am. Way to stay motivated Rachel! We will be back at the pool before you know it. My leg feels awesome. Well, until I start doing jumping jacks.

| I ran by force this morning. Injury didn't start bothering me until mile 1. GRRR. I am frustrated. Probably two more weeks off. 40 minutes on the elliptical. Cheered on the runners at Painter's Half Marathon. I was jealous of all of the runners running in the beautiful weather and surroundings. My friend Matt ran in my place. He did the half in 1:32 and took 3rd in my division! I was extremely proud of him! He has not raced for a few years and PR'd his half by 20 minutes. My friends Jeanna and Megan also ran. They both came in a little over 2 hours. Great job everyone that raced. |

Tried to Tri. 1 hour spin class with Spandey. AKA Skinny Danny. He wasn't as annoying as he usually is. His class still drove me a little crazy.
1 hour on the elliptical ManP workout (about 45 min total) I did get an evening swim in. 20 minutes pool running and 800 meter freestyle.
The most pleasant part of my gym experience was spending it with RAD. Time on the elliptical went so much faster with her by my side. I saw Jeff L and Melanie B and introduced them to RAD. Thank you so much for the enduring workout RAD. My family and I are starting a "cleanse" tomorrow and I am actually pretty excited. I am only blogging this so I can be accountable for my eating for the next three weeks.

2 big lifts in the weight room 1 hour spinning class. The teacher's music bugs, she never changes it up so I brought my Ipod to listen to. I hope that didn't bother her too bad. Her workout was pretty boring too so I did my own. 10 minutes of sit ups 10 minutes of deep stretching I was reading about the particular SF that I have. It's a split in my Tibia (lower inside calf bone). Sounds like that particular injury takes 8-12 weeks to heal. I am on week 7! At least I am on the downward slope, right? I am still frustrated, eager to run, and ready to train hard for the Ogden Half. God sometimes holds us back for particular reasons. I am not sure if I know what his reason is yet. I am willing to take off a year of running if it is required of me. I need to focus on listening to my body and ENJOYING what my body is capable of doing. Tonight I teared up when Lindsey Vonn won the gold for the downhill ski. In the back of my mind my marathon goal was reignited. I wish my leg would just start working now so I will be capable of achieving that goal in the not so distant future. I have a long road ahead of me.

WOW!!! What a great workout! Since I have been cross training I have noticed that my intense workouts are on the slim side. 1.5 hour spin class. 1 mile swim in 30 minutes, yipee! 3 miles on the track at whipping speed for me. I feel good and almost athletic. Thanks for pushing me in the pool RAD, without you I would not have swam. Oh how I need more swimming. *Evening snowshoeing with a friend. Oh my goodness the trail was beautiful at sunset. So peaceful and refreshing. *Evening massage. My therapist took good care of me. 1 hour on my back, one hour on my silly left foot and leg. My foot was soooo tight. I can actually almost walk pain free today. I am going to get a massage at least three times this month to see if the left side of my body will return back to proper stucture.

| Fun day! 5 AM spin class 1.6 miles with the track team! I think I am going to love coaching track. I love running with some of my students and encouraging them. What was the phrase that kept them going today? Me telling them, "Think of all you friends right now eating nachos! You guys are the bomb! " I love encouraging the female runners especially. 50 minutes on the stair stepper @ West Valley Rec Center. My Dance Co. also performed tonight and did an AWESOME job. I am one proud teacher today. I have never mentioned this on the blog, but my students call me "Ramp-Dog." No lie. Yesterday I signed up to volunteer at the St. George Ironman on May 1st. I am totally stoked to help those athletes.

More than a mile at the pool in about 40 minutes. MandP workout @ West Valley rec. Some HUGE muscle man came and told me he was proud of me for lifting such heavy duty weights. He was impressed because most ladies just run miles and miles. Then I told him I would rather run miles and miles. I did a machine called a "ROPE TOW." MY upper body got a terrific workout. BUSY BUSY day. AMAZING AMAZING day as well.

| Last night (Friday) I stayed at a cabin up Big Cottonwood Canyon with friends. I had so much fun playing games, laughing, and getting to know people. I planned to leave early Saturday morning for my big workout. Well, that failed and I stayed up there until the afternoon. I woke up before everyone else and hit the snowy, icy, trails. I softly jogged up toward Doughnut Falls and left the snowshoes I was carrying on the side of the trail. On the way back down I passed cross country skiers that were also enjoying the lovely morning. I got back to where I had placed my snowshoes, and they were gone! I figured the skiers had taken them so I ran all the way back up the hill to catch them. They told me they saw the snowshoes and threw them behind a log on the other side of the path. I was a little annoyed. It took me about 10 minutes to find where they had put the snowshoes. Went back to the cabin and ate some breakfast. After breakfast everyone wanted to go up to the falls, so back up to the falls I went! The falls are beautiful! It's an easy trail and I will be going back in the spring to run it. Got home, went to the gym and did 6 miles in 50 minutes on the TM. The leg is feeling a lot better. I lifted for about 30 minutes after that.

| Try a TRI! I met RAD at the L.C. for our usual Tri day! It's amazing to think that today we ran side by side. We face challenges in our lives and yet we learn more than we realize while we are in the moment of difficulty. I am happy that I have had Rachel to turn to through the last few months. One of the best things about running is the strong relationships that we build with other runners. Rachel tells me that she is 6 months prego. I am telling you she does not look it! Nor does she skip a beat in her workouts. I am proud of you RAD. 1 hour spin class. Intensity was high and diffficult. I felt really good. 6.2 miles around the track. 3 with RAD, 3 on my own. 1 mile swim. I started fading toward the end.

Interesting evening run to say the least. Meant to go eight but before the turn around I had to use the restroom. Stopped at a church. Another 2 miles went and I had to use the bathroom again. Second bathroom break, not so lucky. Found a bush. On my home I saw my friend so I stopped and walked about a mile with her. Great evening. ManP workout + some. Arms are still sore from Monday's workout. AP 7:40. I think that last mile could have brought the AP down.

MY FRIEND DAVID IS A NEW RUNNER TO THE BLOG, PLEASE WELCOME HIM!!! Workout in the 3's. 3 5k's on the TM. 1st 5k in 23 minutes, 2nd held an 8 min pace with huge inclines, 3rd tempo miles. Workout was hard and I reached maximum HR. 70 minutes total time.
103 pushups, 33 squats on each leg, 3 sets of planks, 3 sets of 20 with 25 pound weight back extensions, 33 crunches. 1 hour spinning class. 3 sets of max HR intervals. FUN!!!

I have mixed emotions about my race performance today. I will point out some of those feelings. A. I felt like I could have done better. B. I recently came off of an injury and I have not put in my maxed out effort, as far as mileage is concerned. C. I am truly thankful that I was actually able to run today. A few months ago I did not even consider doing this race. D. Friends. As I race I was cheered on by David and my brother Riley. It felt good to run and be recognized. I also loved seeing RAD in her AWESOME shirt.
E. I have so much to improve on before the Ogden half. F. So dang happy I was not doing the full. G. So dang happy I don't have a full marathon on my schedule right now. Details: I slept on my brother's love sac last night and probably totaled 4 hours of sleep. Waited for Trax to pick me up at the Energy Solutions arena for about 20 minutes. I had a friend there running the full marathon and we were able to chat a little about what he was about to experience. Rode the crowded Trax train up to the U. Got to the start and met David at the bridge. We were able to use a bathroom in the ROTC training center and avoided the porta chaos all together! Started the race too fast like I usually do, and found my pace at about mile 5. I think the best part of the race was David following me on his bike cheering for me! He is COOL. There was also a guy on the side of the road cooking bacon at about mile 8. YUM. I love random things you see while you run races. Pretty sure the bacon boy is at the top of the 'random list.' I talked to RAD at the finish and admired her prego shirt. The shirt read "If you think I am having fun, I am not! The fun part was seven months ago!" She only continues to kick trash in my book! If I ever have children she told me I could borrow her shirt. :)
The volunteers were great, post race fuel was awesome, but picking up your race bag at the finish was a joke! My brother and I also stuck around the Gateway and watched the marathon finishers come in. I continue to be inspired at races and my running addiction only worsens with each race I do.
Came home and swam a mile. :) As for sleep...Who needs it?

I went BaNdIdO today at a local race. I wanted to get some decent miles in and figured I could do so with other runners. First year for this race and they had a great turn out. I have no clue where I would have finished. Top 10 ladies maybe? I don't know. Comparing this race to last week I felt a lot better. Sleeping throughout the week makes a big difference in the way I feel when I run. At the end of the race I still had energy unlike last week. Race speed is still not where I would like it to be, but that will come. This course was also a lot more difficult than the SLC half in my opinion. A lot of steep inclines up and down the golf course and switch backs through the gardens. Beautiful run and I might consider racing it next year. I also ran with Melanie B until mile 8. I lost her there due to stopping at the POPs.
Went to the LC for a 1 mile swim.

This past weekend I went down to St. George with David to volunteer for the Ironman. I was completely amazed at the ability of these athletes. I was also inspired. Time to sign up for next year's race!

She is one crazy lady that I love having around. Thanks for going today, I wouldn't have shown up if it weren't for you..... 2 slow miles with the fabulous RAD around the track. I was going to run more but I talked myself out of it. I can feel a slight pain on the top part of my arch. I would rather skip the run then have a possible stress fracture. My miles have been so weak the last two weeks. I feel that it is time to start building mileage and start getting serious about a possible marathon in July. Right now I want to stay focused on keeping a healthy body. *Over the last week my cross training has been very good. 3 spin classes, 3 decent swims and 6 runs. | FIRST TRIATHLON EVER!!!!! I think I might be in love. I still have mixed feelings about the triathlon. This was a reverse tri so we ran, biked, and swam last. The day before David and I drove the course to check the beastly hills we would be racing in the morning. First came the 1.5 miles up hill for the run, no joke! But there was just as much downhill. There were also two bike loops for the course making it 8.5 miles. 450 meters were to held in the outdoor PG poop pool. Morning came, race time was at 9:00. All of the rain had passed creating perfect running temps. We set up our bikes when I discovered I had left my goggles at home. BLAH! We drove to Wal-Mart and I purchased some real junkers for a few bucks. Run: Took me 22 minutes, I was the first lady. Took the first mile nice and easy. I left the other lead ladies early in the race. Bike: I don't know how long it took but I held the lead. Pool: Missy from out of nowhere passed me up in the pool. The swim felt like it was dragging. Guess I know where to focus! I got really confused in the pool and I still wonder if I swam extra? It was awesome being with David at a race! I saw him exit the transition station on his bike and I saw him in the pool. It was really fun racing with him. If David had not signed up for this race, I really don't think I would have either. I took 2nd overall for the ladies maintaining the lead for the majority of the race. I felt good about my first Tri. Missed the awards ceremony because I had to be to a funeral in Draper. :(

| Ragnar Relay was quite the experience. I was runner 6. Very long day in the car with friends. If I do this race again I won't be doing it with the same group. I am not a very patient person when it comes to waiting for people. All in all this was a great race experience. My second leg was probably one of the most difficult runs I have ever done. I caught myself being emotional in my run. When I got to the top of the hill or the end of my leg there was no one to hand off to. I ended up passing about thirty teams when I would run my legs. |

Range of motion is coming back it's at about a 5 out of 10. Lateral extension is still not there. Slowly, but surely I am healing. :)

PM I went to a Triathlon clinic at Powertri! It was really fun getting to know a lot of triathlon crazies... Anyway, the clinic was about the mental side of racing, I loved it! The sports psychologist gave a lot of advice on how to deal with injuries, racing, and preparing for a race (mentally)! Great relaxation tactics as well. I won free Skull Candy ear buds and a free shirt. Lots of giveaways. I am already excited to race next Spring! A Triathlon of course...

I actually ran with my Garmin today. No music though, so I was proud of myself. I concentrated on my the sound of my feet as they hit the pavement as well as my breathing pattern. I listen to the traffic as I made my way running in the late afternoon sun.
Ran down to Sug. House P from my place (1.35 miles). Ran the outside of the park once (1.8 miles). Journeyed to a gas station for a potty break and made my way back up to foothill. On the way back up the 2 mile uphill pass I stopped for another bathroom break.

I have also calculated the number of dance classes that I teach every week. I teach 15 dance classes a week and take an additional 3. My body is finally getting used to it after three weeks. I tend to get really tired during the afternoons. |

| Met Cal, RAD, Annette and a new runner friend at 12600 south 3500 west for a b-kicking run. We ran 8.5 miles up to a canyon out in the middle of nowhere. The first three miles of the run my legs were already fried and tired. I wasn't sure if it would be best to just go back to bed or keep running. After about five miles my legs were finally getting used to the uphill climb. I about died when Cal told me we had another half mile after we hit 8. We spooked a few deer as we made our way up the canyon. It as a beautiful run and it was fun to run somewhere I did not even know existed. I don't even remember the name of the canyon. Thank you to the fellow runners that made this journey possible. I can honestly say that the past three weeks of long runs were made possible by the people I have been running with. Thank you so much for the support and waiting for me when I have been late to the early mornings. My knees have been KILLING!!!! This is very unusual for me because I have never had knee issues. I went to SLC Running Co. and they told me I have been training in racing shoes. I purchased the old shoes (New Balance 1064) and I will start training in those. I hope that the shoes are the problem.... :( At the marathon I do want to run in my racers though. I will take any suggestions about this problem if you would like to leave your feedback. Congrats to all of those ran TOU yesterday. It's been really fun reading race reports.

| First time on my bikes in months! I hate where I live for riding. The SLC area stinks! Roads are either up or down or I ride on dangerous roads with lots of cars. It felt so good to be back on my bike! My knees enjoy this type of exercise.
I went back to the shoulder doctor on Monday. They took an X-ray and my shoulder still has a big crack in it, but I am well into the recovery phase. He told me I could start back into weight baring exercises. Swimming is okay and after the marathon I will start lifting again. :)

Doctor day! I will be seeing two physical therapists today. My knees actually feel really good today. Probably because I have been eating Ibuprofen like it's candy. :{ Hope my knees are just inflamed.
PT #1. He listened to me tell him about my running history very carefully. He did a few tests to determine what exactly my problem is. Put me on heat and stem, stretched, massaged, and gave me a few exercises to do. Taped my knees extremely well. I have three appointments with him next week to get things healing. He determined that it was my IT bands being tight that are causing the issue. He believes that the new shoes I have might be throwing my alignment off. PT #2. Joel @ TOSH. . All I have to say is Joel is the coolest running PT ever! He was completely booked today and slid me in. He wants me to test out both pair of shoes on a run and see which pair is giving me the most grief. He also wants me to rest and stretch a ton this week. It is always so fun to talk with Joel about training. He has SO MUCH insight. My knees feel so much better already.

I actually ran today, my knees felt so much better. I switched my shoes out mid-run to test which ones felt the best. To my surprise I thought the Nike's were much better. I will try this experiment next week as well.
I ran up and down the hills of beautiful Kamas. I stayed the night with my Single's ward at a lovely home. Very pleasant evening with friends. :)
I rode my bike for an hour on Wasatch Blvd. Guess that is the place to bike since I saw a billion other bikers.

| I did much better than I expected. My goal was to have a good time. Well, I did... :) Pr'd today by one minute and six seconds. This race was an experiment of cross training from the past three or so months. The highest milage week I had training for this race was a 29 mile week. That week is including my 22 mile long run. Race details: Slept in Pine Valley and was driven to the start line around 5:30. It was great staying so close to the start and not having to ride up on a bus. Start line was warm. Hung out with RAD a bit and fed off of her energy. Started out really slow, passed the start line four minutes after the gun. I went completely by how I felt with no goal in mind. I passed the 3:40 pace group and they were too slow. I approached the 3:30 group at around Veyo and again, too slow. I laughed as I thought I might be able to PR. Veyo was Veyo. Uphill and longer than I remember. All was well. I felt prepared for the uphill on this course. The heat was warm but it never really got to me. Not ideal running weather. I was taking electrolyte supplements every 45 minutes and I wonder if that is how I stayed away from the dreaded "wall." I hit the half at 1:40. By mile 14 I started kicking into gear. I can't tell you splits because I don't know them. The speed I was at felt comfortable and the scenery was beautiful. That is one of my favorite places on the route. I hated the fact that there was absolutely no GU given out during this race. I was expecting GU and it never came. I was frustrated mentally about the GU. By mile 20 another runner gave me one of his. I now know that I am able to run a race without GU. By mile 20 I punched into another gear and use the downhill to my advantage. I did a negative split on the course today and I PR'd my time by 14 minutes for this course. As far as races in the future I need to re-evaluate some of my goals and see how I can get closer to the 3 hour mark. Considering what I have gone through this running year, I think I did extremely well. Congrats to all of the runners today! Fantastic times and a lot of personal bests! |

| Elliptical 1 hour. TM walking on an incline with hand weights for 30 minutes while watching Biggest Loser. I went to the PT today. He filmed me attempting to run. (Still very sore) We analyzed my running form in slow motion. From that short amount of running we could see a lot with what is going on in my running gait. Next week we will be determining the exercises I need to do to get my left leg from crossing the mid-line. I have been so impressed with how much he has helped me during the last two weeks.

This is one of my favorite races. I don't really know why, but I love having a reason to dress up for a race. I also had a great time spending the morning with RAD! She is just rad. :)
I got to the mall at about 6:45 and spotted RAD and her new little friend standing in line for a bus. I went 'Emo' style so I had various fake tats and piercing of my face. RAD was standing by a twelve year old girl and her mother. Gabby was the name of this young lady and this was her third half. Her mother was leaving her with RAD and I to look out for her. When she looked at me she became a little concerned about her daughter's safety. It's interesting how people judge you on the way you look. Got to the start line and joined everyone in the heated tent. Talked to various runners and watched the costume contest. My personal favorite was Forest Gump because he gave me one of his chocolates. Race started and off we went down the screaming hills. I knew I was in trouble when I saw 27 minutes on my watch at the 4 mile mark. After the canyon I assumed I would slow a bit and I did. By mile 9, I was walking every mile. My heart rate was a little crazy so I was trying to bring it back down. My goal for the race was 1:30 and I knew I would be missing it. I was actually ok with this and tried to enjoy my run. Fun race! The most enjoyable part was meeting Lili, Allie, and some men from the blog. (Sorry I forgot your names). After the race RAD made me take 2.5 recovery miles back to the car. *Last year I was running 60 miles a week and I ran this race 1 minute faster. Considering how much I have cut out of training (50%), I am feeling great.

I rode my bike around Sug House Park 7 times. Then I rode up to 800 S following Sunnyside up to the zoo. I had to get off of my bike and walk up due to the steep incline. I felt shameful. My bike ride was absolutely enjoyable, relaxing, and peaceful. Minus the teenage boy that yelled at me out of his car and then threw a pen in my direction. :(

| Tri class at the Legacy Center. 30 minutes on the bike 1 mile test 6:50 Lots of time in the pool. My coach helped me with my absurd stroke for a LONG time! TRI Class (BRICK) Saturday!!!! Hooray! I love this class. I think one of the reasons I enjoy this class so much is because I get to talk to some fun people. I almost slept in and bagged the whole workout due to staying up until 1:30 last night. I decided to go and try to enjoy myself. Bike 50 minutes. Moderate intensity. Pretty boring and the music stunk. Everyone in that class mostly talks about upcoming races.
Swim (mostly kicking) in the pool for about 50 minutes. I have concluded that I have a really strong kick and my arms aren't as powerful. It was strange how I zipped past everyone in the pool with my kick, even the guys. I don't know how I went fast but I just did. I need to work on my arm strength before I due the Half Ironman. My swim has improved IMMENSELY! The swim is now my favorite part of the tri class. Funny how you change something about your form and then your confidence is boosted. I still have a lot of work to do but at least I know what I want to accomplish with my swim now. :) Run 1 mile warm up with a pleasant friend named RAD. :) I was so excited to see her today after her marathon last week. We then did two half mile intervals on the track. RAD flew past me!!! Dang her! She really must have not gone fast at her marathon, she had way to much punch in her legs today. Three more miles around the track. Great workout. Now I am off to making pies for Pie Night!

| 1 mile warm up AB class 6 miles with the TM class and 3 more on my own. Girl on the TM next to me loves to talk about marathons. Sad thing is I would really not talk back. I felt rude but I hate talking while I run! I do listen well though.

| 13.1 on a TM with RAD. Wow. I could have slit my wrists at mile 5 but RAD talked me out of it. I think I broke my record on a TM. I was so happy that RAD was a pansy today and decided to stick with the gym. I know I worked harder than if I would have been outside somewhere running a 5K. Great Thanksgiving! Went and saw Secretariat. Awesome movie that made me motivated to run even more. :)

| Met RAD at her house in Herriman. You know you are out in the middle of nowhere when you pass "Free Manure" signs. I got a chuckle out of some of the family farms and the fenced in llama. I was glad to be out on the streets instead of a cooped up gym. Slow miles with RAD and Kelli. It felt really nice just to jog and loosen up. I have put in a lot of miles in the last three days so I need to take it easy until Monday. I also purchased new running tights at a sale this morning so I got to try them out! Loved them. Now I need to find a top that has the same type of warmth technology.

| Stayed up until 1:30 a.m. watching HP 7. Great movie. Such a great movie I slept in. :( I missed the TRI class and hit the gym when the crowd did. Stairmaster for 1 hour. I watched RAD run around the track and wished I were with her running. I promised myself I would not run four days in a row, I was a good girl and refrained. ABs for about 20 minutes Swam 40 laps. *High mileage week for me. GO UTAH!!!! I was very pleased with the Utah/BYU game. :)

| I made my way into the frozen darkness for an evening run at about 5:30 p.m. I decided I had to test out my newly purchased cold-running gear. Everything covered on my body stayed rather warm. However, my face, hands, and ears were numb by the time I came back to my apartment. I ran up toward the Zoo and became a little frightened because I could not see the patches of ice I was stepping onto. I planned to run 8 but I cut the route short due to the icy conditions. I was happy with what I did accomplish and rather relieved that I didn't fall or slip somewhere.
I was so excited when I came back to my apartment because I had dinner waiting for me in the oven. Hungry, cold, and stiff, I was happy to be home. I was rather frustrated when I turned the doorknob to the front door and it was locked. My roommate had locked me out by accident. :(

| HUGE WORKOUT DAY! 1 hour on the elliptical at work while I watched my dancers practice. I heard comments like, "Ruby, you are so sweaty!" "Miss Rampton you have been on that machine forever!" They were impressed...I think. Zumba MaNiA @ Westminster. SO DANG FUN! Spin class for about an hour and fifteen minutes. The gym purchased new bikes and they are black stallions! I was able to keep track of my caedance as well as my distance. LOVED the new bikes!
I joined my friend doing P90 YogaX. I was pretty impressed with this workout. I didn't mean to workout for 4 hours, it just happened that way...

| Today I decided I would do an Olympic distance Triathlon since my Tri class was canceled. 90 minutes of intense spin with Skinny Danny. 6.2 miles on the track. 40 laps in the pool with two brief stops. Chillax in the hot tub. :) It was fun to workout with Rad, even though she made fun of my hammer shorts. I don't blame her a bit.

| My run was epic. I went to find a local running group by my house, they meet at Sug House Park. I didn't miss them, but I was a little uninterested when I saw the group. I did my own workout and I was surprised with my time. 3 loops around the park on the road, which was a little change for me. Pretty sure I am getting unmotivated to get out at this time of year. I don't know exactly what is keeping me from running and eating healthy... Guess I will blame it all on the inversion. I do have two people that I get to start training soon. A gal in my ward that wants to run a half, and a guy that wants to run a 3:10 at SGM next year. I hope I can be a helpful motivator to the both of them. Life is so busy! In a week from tomorrow my dancers will put on a HUGE production. I just hope I can get all of the busy director stuff out of the way so I won't be so stressed. The dances are looking beautiful so far... Maybe that is why I am not concerned with running lately.

DANCE PERFORMANCE! I was incredibly happy with the way the concert turned out. I was a proud dance teacher. I came home from the concert and had an endless amount of energy, so I journeyed to the TM. 8 FAST miles. Stopped once to use the bathroom.

| I woke up and hit the slopes!!! Perfect skiing weather. Awesome company. It was my first time skiing Park City, I managed to get myself lost a few times. I will be heading back to that resort hopefully five more times this season. Evening 'Christmas' run. I ran up to the Zoo and peaked at the lights. I ran through neighborhoods decked for the season while I listened to one of my favorite Holiday albums, The Nutcracker. It was pretty much a perfect day. :)
