AM- Team time trial. Kids ran well. I didn't get many miles in during the racing. I cooled with the boys. Then I added my own loop around Bloomington Hills. Ran past a tarantula. 10 miles

PM- Good running with Aaron again. Marieta did the shorter Mayors Loop while we ran the 6 mile addition. Aaron is amazing at passing on good vibes. 7:23 pace. 6.01 miles

PM- Weights at 3pm. Then 15 minutes with the team. Added my own Dog Pound Loop. 6.22 miles

AM- 3 on my own. 3.03 miles 

AM2- Hell Hole with the boys. Did the full loop. Felt tired but endured. The boys got divided up so I ran with Parker, Gaige, Trey, Porter, and Gianno. Then ran the last little bit of an interval with Brecken. Then last of an interval with Coleman. Cooled with girls. 8.10 miles 

PM- 6 mile loop with Aaron. Marieta did the Mayors Loop again and we passed her. Cody Campbell mixed in a couple of minutes too. Hot and muggy. Saw Corey Kimzey.  7:28 pace. 6.02 miles

AM- 1 by myself then up to Sienna Hills with a couple of the girls. Then I jumped in one interval and pushed with the boys. Could tell it was a tough workout. Cooled with boys. 9.68 miles 

PM- Weights and 15 minutes with girls. Then another sucky loop. Crossed paths with a big king snake. 6.04 miles

AM- Garbage pick up run. Found a homemade bong made from a sobe bottle. Then Hell Hole with Jason. Then added another long muggy loop on my own. 9.72 miles

AM- Warner Valley with the girls. Mainly with Brook, Adri, Kate, and Katie. Then Kate dipped out early. Dave joined us for a while and told stories of Alligators on the AZ strip. The last 20 minutes we did 10 strong, 5 stronger, and 5 strongest. Great push with Adri, Brook, and Katie. They stayed together for 80 minutes. 10.06 miles 

AM2- A little late for this run but still a great experience. Marieta and I dropped off a car off at the Church on Bluff then I dropped her off 7 miles up the road. I drove another 3 and started my adventure. Tested out the new Carbon Xs. Ran 1 mile warm, 4 at marathon pace, 1 recovery, 3 at marathon pace, 1 recovery. 10.09 miles

AM- Hill Circuit with the girls. I tucked in behind Brook, Emmalee, and Brianna on the uphills. Then Brook, Emmalee, and Katie on the downhills. Brecken was just a little behind the main groups. Good efforts and a decent time in the muggy mess. A cat became my friend during the run. 7.22 miles

PM- Ran 5 with Marieta hoping to get a ton of rain, only got a little. Saw METLER for a minute and ran a .25 with him. Added some miles after dropping off Marieta. 8.55 miles

AM2- Was too late for weights but caught the kids for some minutes. 2.27 miles 

PM- Lightning cancelled our outdoor 30 minute run so we did it in the halls at PV. Kind of fun, mainly annoying. Ran 2 more with Jason after the indoor practice. 5.35 miles 

PM2- Ran with Marieta then 1 on my own. 3.07 miles

AM- Had too much fun at the Williams' house in Beaver that I didn't even run Friday night. Dave and I slept on the balcony. I got up around 6 and headed up Beaver Canyon. I warmed up for 2 miles then tried to go hard for the rest. I was wondering why my 3rd, 4th, anf 5th miles weren't too fast, then I turned around. The gradual up hill on the way up made for some slower miles even with decent effort. 9.7 miles

AM2- Ran towards the B with the boys. Only I had to poop so I quickly fell behind the boys. I was pretty pissed I didn't make it to the B because I am fully capable to run with those fools. 8.34 miles 

PM- I just had to make up for my poopy run. Did 10 mins warm then a 15 minute test. I ran 2.3 miles in 15 minutes (like 6:31 pace). 5.11 miles

AM- Ran with the boys out to Washington. I hit an uphill wall near Maverik and Culver's.  It caught me off guard. Then I spent the rest of the time trying to chase the big group of boys. Way too muggy for a guy like me. 8.33 miles, 7:40 mi 

PM- 20 minute Monday afternoon run with girls. Then I ran into Middleton for my own run. Got some rain and said hi to Luke Huddleston and Caleb Adams. 7.79 miles

AM- Would've liked to get out on the marathon course but a 7am practice made that difficult. So I drove to my parents to be close to PVMS. I ran up Red Hills Parkway for 5 miles then turned around. I was hoping to hit some good splits after the flip but about a mile and half in, I felt flat. I was running well like 6:15-20 pace then my legs had nothing. Took 42:30 up and 36:43 back. Added a little to get to 90 minutes. 11.34 miles 

AM2- Was nervous I was going to have 0 energy for the kids' workout (which is true) but I endured. They did a CV on the grass, Hill Cicuit, and another CV on the grass. Kids did great! I helped Alianna, Amelia, and Laney on the first CV. Pushed behind the boys on the Hill Circuit. Caught the last 2 minutes of the 2nd CV. Then I pushed with Kate, Elle, Katie, and Liam on their 2nd CV. I didn't feel great for my own running today but I think I had an impact on the kids. That's honestly what I care about more. Drug out another mile and a half on my own. 8.75 miles 

PM- Just wanted a couple more. Hoping to get rained on. Got inspired listening to Coach Tomlin. 2.26 miles

AM- Dixie Rock. Started out slowly with the freshman boys. They hit some of their tempo and thres early. I got them turned around and carried on to find the other boys. Caught up with the top boys around 40 minutes, just in time for the flip. I didn't feel great but my legs did. I was able to finish up one ET, 2 Tempos, and a Thres with the boys. I am proud of my tempos. On the Threshold I had a hard time keeping up. Snuck in a 6:39, 6:17, and a 6:34 mile. I think redeemed my Saturday experience. 10.42 miles 

PM- 20 with the girls at Sandstone. Got back to the school in time to get dumped on. Ran another mile in the heavy rain just for fun. 3.12 miles 

PM2- Got excited to run in more rain with Marieta. Unfortunately the rain didn't make it over to Bloomington. 4.71 miles

AM- Just glad I woke up this morning, it was a struggle. 2.05 miles

AM2- 25 with the boys. Plus a little addition. 4.06 miles 

PM- Hot run. Kids were struggling but still put in a decent effort. Did 4x4 minute cvs on the back grass. Did the first one with Alianna. I noticed Coach W was towards the back of the top group with Brecken. So I figured I could sneak in towards the front and try and be the glue to keep the top 7-8 runners together. For the next 3 cvs that's what I did. Katie Finch seemed like a stand out for pushing with Adri, Brook, and Emmalee. Cooled and added a lot on my own. 9.17 miles

AM- 45 minute with girls and strides. Spent majority of the time talking to Brecken about staying positive and not being entitled. 7.05 miles 

PM- Late night run with Marieta. She saw a big tarantula and freaked out. We ran by baby. I added a little on my own. 6.63 miles

AM- Warmed up with varsity boys then running around watching good things at the SUU Invite. 4.72 miles 

PM- Parked about 3 miles away from Baker Dam Reservoir. Then 3 miles up and 3 miles back with Marieta. A little windy but decent run, glad I could run with her.  6.01 miles 

PM- Ran from the parking spot to the North Entrance of Snow Canyon. I wanted to study that section of the course. Veyo hill still sucks but not the worst thing ever. Had a head wind the whole time. I ran well but just tired for the day. Saw a cat on the side of the road that looked very scared. 7:19 mile pace, 10.51 miles

AM- Kids ran a cv workout on the track. I ran with Dave and Coach W. We were impressed by the kids. They were getting after it in the workout without much coach interference. I jumped in for the last minute of the last cv to push Brecken a little bit. Cooled with girls.  7.61 miles 

PM- Taught a lesson on resisting comfort, thanks to a Mike Tomlin interview. Then a silly 25 minute run with the boys and girls. 3.14 miles 

PM2- After dinner and a fantasy draft I went on a run with Marieta. It was bearable with good company. Added a little on my own. 4.55 miles

AM- I knew I would benefit from getting a little something before a workout. 1.44 miles 

PM- 400s with the girls after warm and strides. The 400s were faster than race pace. The paces weren't as important as pushing as a pack (especially for the later 400s). The kids didn't know how many they were going to be running. They handled the workout really well. I pushed with top girls. Good workout for me. Great to see our top 6-8 girls pushing strong together. 7.60 miles
