| | AM- Parked at the Podunk Ranger Station. Ran on the main road for 7+ miles scaring cows and saw one buck. Then I took an atv trail and banged my toe on a rock. I worked really hard on not focusing on time or looking at my watch. It helped! Then I made it to the Swapp Canyon Trail where I ran down a single track for a quarter mile. Although I was interested continuing on this trail I was already at 9 miles so I decided to turn around. Trail back was smooth but hard. Then I came within 20 feet of 3 big bucks. I stopped and backed off to see what those big boys were going to do. I watched them for 15 minutes before they crossed a road in front of me. This run was a good mental test for me. It also showed how good my endurance is. I added a little after I got back to my car. 19.04 miles
PM- Went for a hill climb and jog. 1.15 miles

| | Miserable run! I woke up early and headed up Willis Creek. It was really cold and I had a hard time warming up waiting for the sun. Then I tripped on a rock and fell on my wrist. I felt really light headed and almost passed out so I layed down for 5-10 minutes. Then I somehow milked 7 more miles. Once I got back to cabin I wrapped up in a bunch of blankets and fell asleep. 9.02 miles

PM- "Today extracts a heavy toll" -Thanos
The marathon is cancelled. I've been training consistently since February in preparation for the big dance. I still want to run a lot and find another race or create my own trail race. I might throw a Horspool tantrum if they cancel STATE XC.

| | AM- 80 minutes with 2X5 easy tempo, 2X5 tempo, and 1X5 threshold. I started off leading the boys then got insecure about my arm sweat dripping on people. I dropped back and decided to let Jason take the top boys. I tried to run with Gaige and Coleman but they went to the bathroom. Then I saw Sadie, Boswell, and Dalton. I helped Sadie gain some ground on the top girls then stuck with them the rest of the way. 10.24 miles

| | AM- Woke up at 6:15 and ran 3 miles on the main road in PV. Saw some deer, almost got sprayed by a skunk, and listened to an owl. Then I met up with the club and ran some CV. I was able to run with the PV coaching legend duo. I probably should have run with boys but wasn't feeling all that great (my tummy was hurting) so I didn't think I could keep up. The girls ran strong together for some longer CV minutes. I mixed in at the back trying to encourage Kennis, Kyanne, and Amelia. It was fun to see them commit to the faster group a little more each interval. I added 2 more after the team run. Great team building weekend! 12.02 miles
PM- Ran from George's to Bloomington loop and hit a tempo 3. It was hot and I just wanted to hit 6:45-6:50.
