| | Happy New Year! Didn't get out at my normal time this morning, in fact I don't really remember turning my alarm off at 5:35. Got out at about 11:30am or so, it was 28 degrees a freakin warm front. At about 6.5 a big cloud rolled over and I got snowed on for the 5th day in a row. |

14 degrees, snow again for the sixth day in a row, and an Inversion. January is not my favorite time, not much more to say. |

| | Just when I thought January couldn't get ANY better....7 degrees and inversion again today. On the bright side no snow/freezing fog today, wahoo! Halfway through I tried to take a drink from my bottles and they were both pretty much frozen. |

Good run as far as the run went this morning, I'll pass on the 6 degrees and dirty air...if only I could. |

| | Made myself get up and out the door this morning, it was 9 degrees but it felt colder. Had to detour .5 to go back home to make sure my daughter was up because I didn't see any lights on so she could get to school. Good thing she was sleeping, even though I got the attitude from her. |

| | Wow, kinda sad when 25 feels nice and warm for a change. Good run this morning felt good hopefully it's done with the 7-15 degree stuff. Now to clear the air out... |

| | The air seemed to take a turn for the worse today but it supposed to clear out tonight, here's hoping. I may have to hit the TM if it stays this bad. Good run this morning, felt good and just cruised. |

| | CLEAN AIR!!!!!! Nice morning at 38 but a little windy, I'll take it. I'm afraid looking at the weather forecast that we're going to pay for our little nice morning transgression. Tired today, what's up with that I figure it was running into the wind. Now my legs feel a little hammered. |

| | Lots of snow on Friday with unplowed roads and mentally I wasn't there for a TM run so I took a day off. Got up this morning after mentally preparing for the TM and went for it. Set it at 7 and cruised. Watched a couple episodes of Pawn Stars. |

| | -2 out this morning so half marathon Monday moved indoors to the TM for some real torture. Got it done this morning that's about it. Watched Vertigo with Jimmy Stewart and Kim Novak this morning, kinda weird but a really good movie. |

| | Back outside in a BALMY 14 degrees. Good run on mostly clear road, probably 30% or so on packed snow/ice. So not my fastest effort but ok anyway. |

10 miles on a busy traffic morning, not sure why today was so busy. Probably because the shoulders on the road are snowy/slushy/icy and I had to keep jumping off the clear part of the road when cars came. Anyway good run, didn't wear a hat today and ended up with sweat frozen hair...yummy! |

| | Had some late night work alerts to deal with until about 1AM so when the alarm went off at 5:30 I switched it off and rolled over. Finally got out about 9 or so for a cold run. I've decided to have an daily acronym for this month...OLJRTG (One Less January Run To Go). I think it's pretty self explanatory. I'm not creative enough to actually have it make sense but it works for me. |

| | Decided to run on the TM for my long run this week since the air looks absolutely horrid outside. We could have another week of this inversion. So not much to say about 13.2 on a TM but I got it done. OLJRTG |

| | 10 of the hardest TM miles I've ever run. Not sure what was up today but I felt nauseous and shaky and had to force myself to get 10 done. I haven't been eating much this week and not sleeping well and I've lost 7-8 pounds so I assume that's it. But as bad as things have been for me this week they took a turn for the better last night. |

| | Snow, snow and more snow. Trudged out into the snowy roads this morning for a tiring run on snow packed/slushy/icy surface. No speed records today but it was still better than a TM run. Good test for the GTX's today, my feet stayed dry. |

Snowing very had and the roads were a mess on top of that I had to be to work early to goto SLC for training so....no morning run. Got home and guilted myself into a TM 10k before Justified came on. |

Broken record...more snow and the roads were a mess but I couldn't do another TM run. Very exhausting 10 miles today on sandy snow. Another good test for the GTX's, feet stayed dry. Looks like a need to get me a pair of shoes with Gortex. |
