This morning since tomorrow is a big track meet up at UVU,  I only did 1 mile on the elliptical while listening to my music then got off and studied for physics for 20 minutes this morning, Then I went and got a smoothie YUM.

After school, during track practice we did a  half mile warm up with the team. Then we did stretching and a ton of drills, drills like for a half hour. Then we split up to our different activities. Then we did a one mile warm up, then two miles of speed changes then we ended with a mile cool down. I stayed ahead of Bill, Taylor, RJ, and everyone for everything until the last mile of cool down because I had to go to the bathroom really bad. Then we went and iced our legs for like a half hour. Then I came home and did a 15 minute ice bath.

Today was the Outdoor UVU invitational for track. So since I was originally registered for the 2 mile, I asked Tomy if I could run his half mile instead. He gladly gave me his 800. So I started warming up way too early so I did one mile then. Then I jogged around for a half mile to stay warmed. Then there was still like 2 hours till my race again so I went out with Amanda and Sarah for another mile warm up with some strides and an intense stretching circle with Michelle. Then they finally called us to the bull pin to go get our numbers. I was number 1!!! Yay. They took us to the start line and since I was number 1 I got to be the inside lane So my start would be great. My start was actually great. My first lap was 76 seconds which is good. Then my overall time was 2:36.56 so I only slowed down 4 seconds on the last lap which is good. Then since I felt way sick after my race because I ate 2 bagels right when I passed the finish line, I was about to puke. So me and Raydgeen went on a cool down/ jog thing that was at walking pace because I didnt want to puke which was .5 miles.

Today since tomorrow is my big physics test, I didn't have enough time to go for a run. I started with 2 miles on the elliptical while studying physics. Then I went and did my weights so the weights on the machine, then holding your knee up for a minute thing, then squats, push ups, crunches, weighted arm swings, then weighted calf raises with 25 pounds. Then I did another 2 miles on the elliptical while studying physics.

2 miles this morning while studying physics on the elliptical. Wish me luck on the physics test today!!

This afternoon at track practice was speed. We started with the group warm up of 2 laps and then stretching. Then we broke away from our groups. My group started with a half mile of strides working on our form. Then we took a lap of recovery. Then we started with the speed. Our workout was 4 400s and 4 200s jogging a 200. My times for the 400s were 75, 75, 75, 77. My goal was to break 5 in the mile time but I was 2 seconds off :( . Then we took 2 laps recovery. So I was at 2 miles. Then we did a 200 jogging a 200 for a mile. Then we were half way done. Then I did a 3 mile cool down because then I would have done 6 miles for track practice for today. Overall my legs were so tired at the end of the workout, they were heavy, and now they hurt a ton. Then I came home and iced them a bit because I didn't want to take an ice bath. Then I did my weights, weighted calf raises, holding knee up thing, crunches, push ups, and weighted (10 pounds) for my arm swings. Now I am totally dead.

Today at track practice we started with the two lap warm up. Then since we were being filmed by KUTV or something for Susannah we did an extra long stretching circle. Then we went on to doing a mile of "Js". Since I am not running tomorrow I had to do an extra work out today. I did a 200 then jogging a 200 and my time for that was 33 seconds. Then I did a 400 and my time being 66 seconds, and finally I did another 200 and my time 32 seconds. Then we did a mile and a half cool down and called it a day. Then I came home and did my leg weights, weighted calf raises, 10 pounds weighted arm swings, holding knees up thingy, and crunches, push ups, and squats. :)

Since I woke up late this morning I couldn't study physics in the morning so I decided to do it tonight, well that and I didn't have any homework. But who's complaining. So I went on the elliptical and did 2 miles while studying the worksheets and reading the textbook and taking vivid notes on it.

Today since I slept in again I couldn't go on the elliptical this morning. Oh well. Since I couldn't go to the track meet today since I was driving with Talk today I did my own workout. I started with a mile warm up, a mile of speed changes so jogging the straights and sprinting the curves, a mile of speed changes with jogging the curves and sprinting the straight aways, then a mile of "Js" so start at the 150 meter mark and sprint 150 meters and then jog 50 meters of recovery. So by this time I was at 4 miles with 3 of them being speed changes. Then since my parents were at the track I had to do a fast 1 mile cool down because I needed time to go home and eat and shower before I went driving. Then I came home from driving and did 3 sets of 1 minute wall sits, some leg weights on the machine, holding your knee up for a minute thingy, weighted arm swings for a minute with three sets of those, non weighted calf raises, and three sets of 15 squats. Then I went on the elliptical and did 3 miles on that as sort of a cool down while I was studying physics.

Today this morning because I finally woke up early enough to go on the elliptical and study physics before I went to school, I did so. I did 2 miles on the elliptical and studied physics because I didn't want to do it later. It was really hard to get up this morning though. :(

Today at track practice, it was quite the easy work out. We started with the usual  2 lap warm up then the stretching and drills. Then as a group we went off into the weight room and did weights. I did the machine thing, holding me knee up for a minute thingy, 25 pound weighted calf raises, the front thigh machine, and squats. Then I did the 3 sets of crunches, push ups, and 10 pound weighted arm swings for a minute on and half minute off. Then I went to peer court. I came home from peer court and did 4 miles on the elliptical because it was raining and snowing at the same time and there is no way that I would go out in that. So I did those four miles while watching that strengthening families movie that the Salt Lake City School District sent to every student in the district. It is quite the movie I must say, but I am leaving it at that. HAHA

2 easy miles in the morning while i'am studying physics.

At track practice it was BLIZZARDING!!!!! We started with the 2 vertical laps around the school and then the stretching circle. Then my group went up to the track. We started with the 1.5 mile of speed changes, 3 laps of sprinting the curves and jogging the straight a ways, then 3 laps of sprinting the straight a ways and jogging the curves. Then we stretched our legs out a bit and then we started the original speed. We did 5 laps of continuous running, of we did 300's then jogging the last 100 meter as a recovery, by this time I could barely see in front of me because it is snowing so hard. Then my mom came and yelled at Tony for having us be out in the snow :) Then the girls did a 800 if firemen and so did the boys but the girls got a 100 meter lead on us and we had to try to catch them. We didnt, My group was Tomy, Hussein, and Me. The girls group was Noella, Noemi, and Angela. They must of been going fast because they finished exactly 150 meters in front of us. Then since by this time everyones clothes was soaked to the underwear we started the cool down. Since my mom was already here and I only needed to do 4 miles at practice I only did a 1 lap cool down. Then came home and took a LONG shower. Then I went and did my leg machine weights, 25 pound calf raises, holding my knee up for a minute thingy, 3 sets of 15 squats, crunches, push ups, and 10 pound weighted arm swings. Then I went and ate a good dinner that was way warm.......... YUM

Today I went for my own run. I started with a 2.5 mile loop so I went up to Clayton, then stayed on that road until I got to Shop N Go. Staying on that street until I got to 21st South. Then I went down to Sugar House Park and did a loop inside the park staying on the road. Went back to 17th east and 21st south and went on 21st to 19th east and from there I went back to my house. This run I tried to really push so I went on a pretty fast tempo run. I went home and did 1 mile on the elliptical while studying physics. Then I went and did my weights, So I did the machine weights, 25 pound weighted calf raises, 3 sets of 15 squats, the holding my knee up for a minute thing, crunches, push ups, and weighted arm swings. This was a very hot run.

AM:

This morning since I got up late, I only had time to do one mile. Then came home and studied physics for 20 minutes. 

PM:

This afternoon I went to track practice and it was a speed day. We started with the usual 2 laps warm up and then the stretching circle. Then we broke up into our groups. My group was we started with 8 strides of 100 meters, first we did full 100 percent, next was with our arms down till we got to Tony then heavily use the arms, next we did progressively getting faster, then finally we did full 100 percent again, we did 2 of each set. Then we did another 2 laps to recover from those. Then we started the speed. We did a 600, 500, 400, 300. My first 600 was ok, at the 200 mark I was at 37 seconds, at the 400 mark it was 74 then I lost it that last 200 and my overall time was 1:55. Then we did a 500 which was a ok but my time sucked. Josephine decided to do this one with us so that pushed me a bit more. I couldn't here tony yell out the times at the 200 and 400 times but my overall time was around 1:23. Then we did a 400 and my 200 time was 40 seconds which sucks so I really pushed that last 200 meters and my overall time for that 400 was 74 seconds. Then we were almost done. We walked the 100 meter to the start of the 300 mark. Since I was so exhausted after these I totally lost it on that 300. My time was pretty horrible, it was 58 seconds and my legs felt like lead. It was so hard just to finish that last 100 meters. I don't know what it is, if i'm out of shape or I was just really pushing it on those previous speed things. Then I was almost done, we walked a 100 meter then we strided out to another 100 meter then it was finally time for the cool down. Since I was roughly at 3.5 miles by now I only needed a 1.5 mile cool down. So I started a grass lap with Sophie, then I did another grass lap with Suzette, and then I did 2 laps on the track and I was done! Then I came home and ate a ton!!!! then I did my leg things on the machines, the weighted calf raises, 3 sets of 15 squats, holding my knee up for a minute thingy, weighted arm swings, push ups, crunches, then stretching because I was TOTALLY DEAD!!!!!

1 mile this morning before school. Then I came home and studied physics for 20 minutes because I have our Gravity final this thursday and Im freaking out. I hope that I do good.

Today was the crazy fun day up at the track. We started with no warm up, we went immediately to the first event. My first event was the tied together 400, my team was Mickey, Me, Michelle, and Raydgeen. As soon as the gun went off Raydgeen and Michelle fell over and we dragged Michelle for a few feet. Im sorry Michelle. But then when we got back up on our feet we had a good race. We caught up to the green team, then the white team but the white team blocked us in so we couldn't pass them so the white team out kicked us. Then was the 1 person inner tube race. My team got 2nd in that. Then was the 4 by 100 meter scooter race, I think we were 3rd in that. Then was the 4 by 400 meter and we were last in that. Then was the no shoe race which we were last in also. Then was the filling up the bucket with water, we were 3rd in that also. Then was the last event, we did the relay. My team won that with a time of 6:39, overall my team was 3rd so we won the bam bams things we got at Simplot. Unfortunately I already had them from Simplot.

Today was a trimeet at East. Since when I was TAing for Mr. Matheson, I pulled something behind my knee so it was killing me. So he let me go to the track early to start setting up for the meet. When I got there I noticed that I needed to do a 2 mile warm up then the team warm up. Luckily Bill and all of his people were there. So I did a mile warm up with Abigail then stopped and helped Susannah bandage herself up from her nasty fall yesterday and the Crazy Days Track Meet. Then I did another mile of speed changes with Sarah and Natalie. Then I did a half mile with the team. Then we stretched a lot. By this time it was even hard to move my leg let alone run on it. So I wobbled over to Tony while I was doing another half mile with Tania and asked if I should even race today, he said don't use it as a race and save your legs for Saturday and just to use it as a work out. So I wasn't supposed to push this mile but just to stay towards the back and run it as a tempo run. So before the race I went and put my spikes on and did 2 strides with those on, that absolutely killed. So I took those off and just did 2 usual ones but bare foot, those also killed. Then I did 2 more bare foot but this time I was progressively getting faster, that also killed. So I went and raced the 1600 meter. So my first lap was 83 seconds which was way slow but oh well. Then My 800 meter time was around 2:57 or 2:58 I didn't hear it very well, this time is way slow also. Then the 1200 meter time was 4:32 which is a horrible time. Then the overall time was 6:02. That race seemed sooooo long and sooo painful, I don't know if it is just that I was going slower than I usually do or if it is I was in a ton of pain and was just begging to be finished with the race. Then I saw the finish line and I started to sprint but some Stansbury kid out kicked me which made me furious. But the race was finally over. Then at the track I did 2 grass laps of a cool down then I did 3 laps on the track. The last 2 laps I did with an innertube around my waist and me, Susannah, Abigail, and Tomy had a fight with those :) Then I came home and did another mile for a cool down, just running to 21st south and back for an even 7 miles for the day.

Two this morning on the elliptical. It killed mainly because of my legs.

At track practice we started with the usual 2 laps of a warm up then the stretching circle. Then me and Hussein did another lap because he didn't do his warm up with the team. But instead of yelling East at number 20, Abigail and I were yelling Caroline or Mufassa from Lion King. Then we broke out into our groups. My group was doing and very easy work out today because Monday was a hard day, and Wednesday as a race day so since we have a big invitational on Saturday we need our legs good and rested. So we did a total of 12 strides. The first 4 was we did 4 full out sprints with 25 seconds in between those. Then we did 50 meters with our arms down and the last 50 meters really pushing with our arms, and we did 4 of those with 25 seconds of rest in between them. Then the last set we did was we did 4 of gradually getting faster so we were progressively getting faster and with these we also did 25 seconds of recovery. Then I only had time to do a 1.5 mile cool down because I had Peer Court tonight. So I did 2 laps on the track with some people. Then they were done so I decided to do those last 2 grass laps alone and just get them done. Going around the first time, I found a Inner Tube from Yesterday :) Then I came home and did 2 more miles on the elliptical while I was watching the Cross Country Video on my dads Computer.

Two in the morning while studying physics. 1) I need to study physics because I found out for the Gravity test, I was studying the wrong thing, 2) I did horrible on the test and I need to retake it after SPRING BREAK!!!! 3) Its the last day till spring break and I need to study so I don't have to do as much over the break....... SPRING BREAK

Today at track was an easy work out. It was a easy work out because Tomorrow is the Taylorsville Invitational. So we started out with the usual 2 laps of a warm up, then the stretching circle. Then we split up into our groups. My group did 4 100 meter strides. The first 2 we did was we totally sprinted and we did 2 of those with a  25 second break in between. Then we did 2 more strides but this time at the 50 meter mark we progressively got faster, these we had a 35 second break in between. Then we did a timed 400, my time was 64 seconds and I was only 1 second behind Tomy. I used all of my energy trying to stay up with him the entire time that he out kicked me. Then we did our cool down. My cool down was 1.5 miles around the track or 6 laps. But I did these bare foot on the grass which made them fun. Then I came home and took a 15 minute ice bath.

Race: Taylorsville Invitational Track Meet (1 Miles) 00:05:28, Place overall: 69, Place in age division: 8

Today was the Taylorsville Invitational Track Meet. It was a Varsity meet meaning there is more fast people and less slow people. So I did a .75 mile warm up with Ricky and then I did drills and strides with Ricky and Hussein. Then they called us to the bull pin. So I was number 7 in the first heat of the boys 1600 meter run. My first lap was 73 seconds which is a good first lap time I guess. Then my half mile time was 2:39 which is 3 seconds slower than my PR. My 1200 time was 4:02 which is OK. Then finally was the final lap. My overall time was 5:28.1 which is a 20 second PR and a great time for this point in the season. The entire race though, I felt like I was sprinting. Then I went out on a .75 mile cool down because I just wanted to be done with running for the day. Then at the end of the meet, we found out that the girls had won a trophy because they were 2nd place overall!!!!!!!!!! Congratulations GIRLS!!!

Today since it is the first day of SPRING BREAK we had work out earlier. Since I was taking my driving test today with Talk I was already up at the track. By the Way I Passed My Driving Test!!! I have My license. So we started out with a mile warm up, I was  the only one who went to Tony's work out this morning though, so I did a mile warm up, then stretching. By this time it was pooring rain. So I went and stretched under the Bleachers and talked about my race on Saturday that I PR'd by 20 seconds on. Then I did 3 laps of sprinting the Straight a ways and jogging the curves, Then I did 3 laps of Sprinting the curves and jogging the straight a ways as a recovery. Then I did 3 laps of J's So I sprinted 150 meters and jogged 50 meters as a recovery. Then I was done. So I just had to do my cool down. So I decided to do a 800 meter cool down so I would be at an even 4 and I wanted to get out of the rain because AP tests are coming up and I can not afford to get sick at the moment, I have too much going on right now. Then I went and did my weights on the machine, 25 pound weighted calf raises, holding my knee up for a minute thingy, 3 sets of 15 squats, 3 sets of 30 crunches, Since I can't do push ups because I dislocated my right pinky finger I did more arm swings. First I did 3 sets of 1 minute on 30 second off arm swings with weights, then I did 3 more sets with a minute on and 30 seconds off but with out weights, Then I went and did 2 more miles on the elliptical because I need more miles and it is pooring rain outside and I need to study for my Gravity retake test on Monday when we get back from Spring Break. The weird thing is when I was running today, the back of my knee, the tendant on the left knee and on the left of that knee was really hurting. When I was doing my weights on the machine it was really hurting then also so I could only do one of the things on the machine. It hurts to run on and straighten with weights but when I walk on it or just straighten it with out any weights it does not hurt at all. I hope it is nothing very serious, well we'll see.

Today I had a APHUG study session with Matheson so I couldn't go to Tony's workout up at the track because they both were at the same time. So I went to the study session and then I walked up to the track to start my work out. Since Tomy hadn't texted me back what his work out was, I decided to go ahead and do my own work out. So I started out with a 2 mile cool down and then stretching. Then I started the speed work out. I was originally going to do 12 200's but I did 8 instead because the back of my knee was absolutely killing me, doing the warm up and doing the speed work out it was killing. My knee didn't hurt as much when I ran on my toes which is weird so I did my work out on my toes. So my first 200 was 40 seconds which is slow, then my times went like this 39, 35, 35, 36, 38, 35, 34. For the first four of the 200's I was wearing my spikes so I could go faster and stay on pace a bit better but the spikes were really hurting my knee. So I took off the spikes and ran the last 4 with out my spikes, I ran them just in my trainers. In between the 200's I jogged another 200 so I could get the mileage in so I did 2 miles of that. Then since my mom was here and I needed to go, and my knee was killing me to a point that even walking was hurting it I did my cool down. I started with a mile cool down while listening to my music on my phone:) I decided to do another mile cool down even though my legs are killing me I wanted to get the miles in so I wouldn't have to do as much later today or later in the week.

Then I came home and did my weights on the machine, I started the ones where you lay on your stomach and do like leg curls but those were killing the back of my knee, I don't know why so I stopped doing those and moved to the next thing on the machine. Then I did weighted calf raises, holding my knee up for a minute thingy, 3 sets of 15 squats, crunches, no push ups today because of my dislocated right pinky, weighted arm swings, and non weighted arm swings.

Then I did my last 3 miles on my elliptical while I was not only studying physics but also AP Human Geography because the AP tests are coming up. Overall today was a very painful day but a very needed day trying to get my speed back. I hope that my back of my knee thing doesn't hurt much longer because I have some very important races coming up and I need to be totally ready with absolutely no pain anywhere.

Today at track practice I showed up to the track at 10 AM and I didn't see Tony there and I didn't want to wait haha, so I went on my own run. I started up at the track and ran up sunnyside avenue till I got to gaurdsman (I think thats how you spell it or I think that, thats what the name of the street is) anywase it is the street with Steiners Aquatic center on it. So I ran across that until I got to the University of Utah football stadium, I ran through that parking lot until it ended so I ran through the campus. I finished through the campus and from there on I don't know the names of the streets. So pretty much I did the Shriners drinking fountain run. It took me like 40 minutes because I was running alone and I run a lot slower when I run alone than when I run with somebody but also my back of my left knee thing was also really hurting, which is weird but I did do speed yesterday and that could of done something because I was in spikes. When I got back to the East High Track Tony was there, I guess he was just walking grass laps until people showed up for work out. Noella showed up today and she was doing a speed work out because I guess she missed yesterdays speed so she has to make it up today..... Sucks for her haha. Tony told me to do 4 300s today just to loosen up my legs. I was going to do them then, but I didn't because it started to rain. Hopefully I will do them later

I did my weights on the machine accept for the ones for my hamstrings because they are still killing me even after I do a long run to loosen up them. Then I did weighted calf raises, holding my knee up for a minute thingy, 3 sets of 15 squats, crunches, weighted arm swings and non weighted arm swings. I hope those arm swings help me during races to make me faster.

I went to the track because I thought there was practice so I thought it was the perfect time to go and do my 4 300s. Well I guess there wasn't or no one went because it was only me and Ricky. So I met up with Ricky and we waited for almost 30 minutes for anyone else to show up, which no one else did. I thought that was ridiculous so I went ahead with my half mile warm up of grass laps. Then I did sprint 300 jog 100 but 4 times for a mile. My times were 59, 60, 59, 58 which is pretty consistent and all under a 5:20 mile which was my goal. Then we did 2 laps on the track as a cool down while listening to the Rowland Hall kids get yelled at about something and listening to music :)

Today at track, since Tony is in Oregon for the rest of spring break I decided to work out with Bills group for today. We started with a mile warm up and then stretching. Then we did another mile warm up and then a mile of speed changes. After the mile of speed changes we did a lap recovery because it was speed for today. I didn't do the speed because I only had to hit 5 miles for the day so I didn't want to go over my miles.So Delaney and I decided to time Natalie, Susannah, Amanda, and Abigail's splits. So we started at the 600 start sprinted 150 meters to yell the 200 time. Then the 400 we started at the 200 start and sprinted to the finish because Bill wanted to know there last 200 or 100 meter split on every thing. Then we went to the last 100 and timed there last 100 on the 300. Finally was the 200 and we timed the entire 200 so Delaney and I started at the normal 200 start and sprinted the 150 diagonally across the field. We did everything twice so I am counting it as a half mile. Then as a team we did a half mile after the first set of intervals and before the second set of intervals so that everyone can recover. Then since Abigail started late I had to do everything 3 times so the last timing for Abigail was a fourth of a mile. Then when everyone was done with there speed Me, Abigail, and Bill did a half mile as a group for a cool down to finish me off for the day at 5 and Abigail off at 7, after that Abigail and Bill did more cool down. I don't know how much they did.

When I came home and after hours of studying I found time to do my weights. I started with the weights on the machine, then the weighted calf raises, holding my knee up for a minute thingy, 3 sets of 15 squats, 3 sets of 30 crunches, push ups (My finger is feeling better so I can finally do push ups again!!!) Then I did weighted arm swings for 3 sets of 1 minute on with a half minute off. Finished the day with some stretching because I am a bit sore on the back of the knee thing again. Hopefully that goes away soon.

Since I guess there was no track practice today I went on my own run. Well I guess it wasn't my own run but I went on it with my sister Courtney. She never really has gone that far before and since she could not run it for sure she walked it and I ran it because she didn't want me to leave her in the dust and I didn't want to leave her in the dust. So I ran and she walked, I went slow for her to stay with her. So we went to sugar house park to begin with. We decided to go and do 3 laps on the road in the park. When we were in the park I said we should do the state course because then we would only have to do one lap after that and so she would know good cheering spots for next year when the BOYS GO TO STATE!!! So we did the state course and she was exhausted doing that so when we passed the swings she stopped and went swinging while I went and finished the state course and ran the last lap. I did the rest of the state course and the lap at a fast pace because I wanted to get some fast running in today, so I did that in about 13 minutes. I was booking it!!! When I got back to the park where Courtney was I decided while I was there to swing for a bit. So I swung for about 10 minutes:) I decided to go home because I wanted to be done with running for the day. So as she walked home and I ran next to her we went home, we went up the hill in the park onto 21st South and on 21st South until we got to 19th East and from 19th East we went home at a progressively faster pace to finish strong.

I came home and I did my weights. I did the machine ones, the weighted calf raises, holding my knee up for a minute thingy, 3 sets of 15 squats, crunches, push ups, and weighted arm swings. Overall it was a very easy day which I think that I needed to get my legs feeling good again. Throughout the entire run, even in the fast parts that I did on my own, I had no pain anywhere even on the back of my knee which means all it was was over use or I pulled something and it needed to rest. That is so good news now I can finally start going faster again.

Since today is the first day back to school:( I have to start studying physics again. So I got up and studied physics for 30 minutes, then I went on a 2 mile run. I went one mile out from the house to 21st south and down passed Sugar House back and then back, half way into the park:)

Today at track practice we did a speed work out. We started with the usual 2 lap warm up and then a circle stretching. Since Tony was not there yet my group did the drill with everyone else today. Then we started another warm up with Bill and his group. We did another 2 laps warm up then Tony arrived. So we started our groups workout. We did a mile of J's after the second half mile warm up. The work out was 5 300's to start out with. We were all supposed to hit a specific time through out the entire work out. My time for the first one was 50 seconds then they went like this 50, 50, 50, 48. On the last on we started staggered so I was first then one second later Ricky went then one second later Hussein went finally one second later Tomy went and we had to try to catch the person in front of us. Ricky never did catch me:). Then we were done with the first thing in the work out. Then we did 4 200's while jogging a 200 for another mile. Then everyone else had to do another 400 except me because the back of my left knee is really hurting me again so Tony had me sit that one out because we want me to have a good meet on Saturday.

When I got home I did my weights. I did the ones on the machine, weighted calf raises, holding my knee up for a minute thingy, 3 sets of 15 squats, crunches, push ups.... I can finally do push ups again because my baby dislocated finger is healed so I can put pressure on it an even move it!!!......, weighted arm swings and ending with some stretching because my muscles felt like lead.

Today I slept in!!!!!!!! So I couldn't study for physics or go on a run this morning!!!!!!!. 

So at track practice since tomorrow we have a race, it was a easy work out. We started with the usual 2 laps warm up as a team then the group stretching. But half way into the stretching it started hailing on us the size of DIMES!!! I'm not even joking. So we ran inside the building as fast as we could and finished stretching. By the time we were done it stopped hailing but the track was soaked. Every like 5 minutes it started hailing but stopped after a minute or so. So then we did the group drills because Tony was not there yet. Then Tomy and I and my group did another 2 laps warm up to make it an even mile for the warm up, the Tony arrived. We started the work out with what we are racing tomorrow and on Saturday. Tomorrow i'm doing the 2 mile and half mile:( and on Saturday i'm doing the mile. So we started the work out. It was a 600 jog a 200 then a 300 jog a 100 but first it was a half mile of strides. We did 3 100 meter strides of total sprinting with 25 seconds of recovery then we did 3 with our arms down and then heavily using the arms the last 50 meters then the last 2 was progressively getting faster. Then we did a 600 and for that my time was 1:48 which is pretty good. Then we jogged a 200 and did a 300 and for that my time was 48 seconds which is OK also. Then we jogged that last 100 for an even 2 for now. Then we did a mile cool down because it started to rain and hail on us and I didn't want to run in that and get sick.

Then I came home and I took a 15 minute ice bath while studying APHUG test on Friday the 13th:( and also track regions. Wish me luck.

Today was another tri meet at East. Since I needed to do more miles today than I would normally on a race day I decided to get out of class early. I started with a half mile warm up alone, then did another half mile with Caden then the stretching circle. Then I did a mile warm up with Tania then we did some drills. Then as Tania was racing in the mile I was jogging on the inside of the track so I did a mile of that. Then since I wasn't running for like another hour I decided to go get a good cheering spot and cheer. Then they called 800 meter runners to go to the start line but not line up. So I decided to do another half mile warm up of grass laps then go to the starting line for the boys 800. They had two heats of the 800 because there was so many people signed up for it. I put my self in the second heat because I wanted to get a good spot up front and stay up there. So they called my heat and we were at the starting line. So since Dylan was faster than me last year we put him first, then some new kid that has not run in forever second, then me which was weird. Tony told me whatever heat I am in to get in the 3rd or 4th position for the 1st lap. So the gun went off and I started out way fast, well it felt fast to me. I started the race in 3rd place for the first lap. My first lap time overall was 68 seconds. Then on the second lap, since that is the one that is really the lap you need to be passing people I started to pass the people in front of me. But at the about 250 meters to go, I totally lost it. At this time I was the first person from east which was cool. But thats where Dylan caught up to me and passed me. By about 100 meters to go, some Bountiful kids crept up behind me and blew right pass me and Dylan. I almost caught up to Dylan but he finished like 5 meters in front of me:( But today was a PR in the 800 by 10 seconds with a total time of 2:26.20. Then I was going to do the 2 mile but Bill was having everybody do the 4*400 so I decided to do that instead to get more speed. I was in Caden, Anders, and some Asian kids group. My group had a horrible start, and we ended last. I was 3rd in my group with a lap time of 68 seconds. I didn't do the 2 mile because the 4*400 was right after that and I thought I needed more speed than the distance. So by this time I was at 5 miles. Then I came home and ate a Taco while watching American Idol. Then I went on the elliptical and did 3 miles while reading Night for my Language Arts class.

While I was watching The Wild Thornberry's this morning, I did 2 miles on the elliptical. It was fun..

Today at track practice was a very easy work out. We had a easy work out because on Saturday we have a very big invitational to go to, so we need our legs well rested and ready to run. So we started with the usual 2 laps warm up as a team then the stretching circle. I got very mad because Delaney and Bill both told me I couldn't get my sweats because I gave my check to Matheson when Bill never said to give it to him, he said give it to a coach and Matheson is the head coach and Bill isn't. Why would Delaney care, she was just writing down who paid to Bill, not who paid. So then Tony called us over to start the work out. We started with 6 strides. 2 total all out strides, 2 with your arms down, and finally 2 with accelerations. Then since Ricky cant go to practice tomorrow and didn't race yesterday he had to do an extra 800 but everybody had to pace him. The girls paced him on the first 200 then I paced him on the second 200 then Tomy paced him on the last 800. Then we had our cool down. I went 1.5 miles out and 1.5 miles back. I went up to gaurdsman, across, and down to the University of Utah and back and it took me about 25 minutes. Then I decided to do another mile of grass laps, so I gathered Josephine, Ricky, Suzette, and Sophie and we all did 2 grass laps while listening to Ricky's crappy music on his Ipod Touch. Then I went back to the track and looked at the times from yesterdays race, I would of beaten Dylan and Ricky in the mile and I did beat RJ, Taylor, and Ricky in the 800 even though I was in the slower heat than them. Yay my work outs are paying off, I have PR'd in every meet. I hope I do that in the meets to come also........... Knock on Wood!!!!!

After watching American Idol I went on the elliptical and did 2 more miles. I did these while I was watching the Wild Thornberrys again. I love that show!!!!!

Today at track practice we had a easy work out because we have a huge race tomorrow over at Davis High School. So we started with the usual 2 lap warm up as a team then the drills. Then my group ditched me and started the strides with out me while I was finishing my 3 more laps warm up so I would have a 1.25 mile warm up. Then I went over to the team and did the strides. We did 12 strides overall. The first six that I did was with Tomy, Noemi, Noella, and Angela. Then the Second set of six I did with Maggie because she had to start late also. Then I did a mile on the track for a cool down.

Today was the Davis Super Meet. So since I was an alternate I had to go the entire day. So I started a half mile warm up on the track with Abigail. Then I decided to go on a 2 mile warm up again with Abigail and Amanda. We left the track and went on some mile loop twice. It was a very confusing lap. Then Amanda and Abigail raced there mile race and I went on another cool down with Amanda and RJ. We went up the same street as the mile loop but we continued straight on the main rode until we got to one mile then we turned around and went back the same way. By this time it started to snow like a blizzard so we decided to go inside. The east people went in the Gym and hid from the croud outside and it was warmer in the Gym than it was out in the hall way. So then on top of the gym there was a track, Davis high school has an indoor track. That is totally cool. So we climbed the bleachers onto the track. Well Scott, Abigail, and I did. Then RJ came up there and since the track was 11 laps to a mile I decided to go ahead and get my last half mile done then so I wouldnt have to run again and I could just chill out and cheer for everyone. And I guess also read the Night book...... Which I did. So RJ and I decided to do 5.5 laps on the indoor track for a half mile and call it good for the day because then I would be at 5 miles for the day and that is all I wanted to do for the week.
