Today since it was snowing and my mom didn't want me to go and meet up with Levi in the snow because I might get sick, she took me to steiner and did a 4 mile easy run on the treadmill at a easy 7:30 pace. Then when  I came home I did my three sets of weighted arm swings and stretched for a bit.

Today for practice I showed up late because I am Teching for the play Aida at East. So I did a half mile warm up at East then drove down to the Highland Track. There I met up with Levi and his new friend named Bruce. We there did 3 laps on the track and then 2 laps of Js. So then we walked over to the hill and did the same thing we did last year. I forgot to hit lap on my garmin so I dont know my times. But they were faster. We started with 2 long ones, the ones across the entire field, then 1 medium one, the one half way across the field then another ultra long one. One all the way across the field and then all the way to the road up above the hill. On the hills I was supposed to stay with Levi. I stuck with Levi with no problem on all of them mainly because we only had to do 4 because Levis knee was hurting. On the last one I felt really good so I kicked it in hard and out kicked Levi. Then me, levi and bruce all did a slow lap cooldown around the park. Then I came home and I did my 3 sets of weighted arm swings. Here is my Garmin Link:

Today my sister and I went over to the gym to do a workout. I did 7 miles on the treadmill I started out slow, went medium speed, fast, and did that every mile.

This morning I went for a little run because I don't think I can go to practice after school because of Aida the Musical. So since it is early in the morning, my dad came along and drove next to me while I ran. I ran down to sugarhouse park, but then the gate was closed so my dad could not drive in there, so I went back up to 1700 east and ran along that like I am doing the cemetery run in the summer. So I ran until I was at 2 miles then I turned around and came back the same way. I accidentally pressed stop on my garmin when I stopped to talk to my dad and never turned it on again. Today since we didn't have rehearsal for Aida after school I got to go to practice. So I met up with Levi and we did a lap warm up, when we were coming around the lap we met up with Bruce at sugarhouse park. Then the workout was a light pole workout. What we did was we strided out from one light post to another, then recovered. The workout was 8 on and 8 off, then 3 on when you strided out for 2 light posts and recovered for one, then 6 more of the individual ones. Levi and I were supposed to hit roughly 6 minute pace when we were striding but we went a bit faster on every one. Then we did a mile and a half cooldown to get an even 5 miles. When I came home I did my 3 sets of weighted arm swings. Here is my Garmin Link:

Today after going to Science day at the U, I met up with Levi and we did a run. I got to wear my knew running pants that are supposed to keep my legs really warm, and they did work. The run was supposed to be a mile of J's at the track then go out to 4500 South by weaving in and out of streets so it would be 4.5 miles out and 4.5 miles back to get an even 10 for the day. But since it was snowing hard already, we just wanted to get done so we did 6 strides in the park, then go out as far as we could until we can not see. We made it 2.5 miles out until both our eyes were watering because of the snow hitting them so we turned around and came back even faster. Overall it was a good run, it was nice to be able to just go for a run at a nice pretty fast pace. Here is my Garmin Link:

Today I actually went to Bills workout! So we met up at the track and did a mile warm up and a mile of speed changes. Susannah and Ben came to the workout so it was fun to talk to them during the workout. So the workout was 3 timed miles but to watch my shins because I have not done speed for 3 weeks roughly so I only did 800s. My time for the first one was 2:50, then my times went like this, 2:41, and 3:22. I really pushed on the first 2 so I was really dead for the last one. I decided to stick with Caden and push with him. In between each of the reps, we did a lap recovery. Then Caden and I did a 1.3 mile cooldown to get an even 5 for the day. I would put my Garmin Links on but my Garmin is being way weird. When I got home I did my 3 sets of weighted arm swings, weighed calf raises, and wall sits.

Today since after school I had to go to AP United States History seminar, I decided to meet up with Levi at Sugarhouse Park. So we did about a mile warm up, then 6 strides. Then the workout was one timed lap but fast. So I got out fast going up the first hill to push the hill because I knew as soon as I got to the top of it, it was pretty downhill for almost a mile. So I pushed way hard until going up the second hill that really killed me. I just stayed consistent to the top of the hill then I pushed it hard along the straightaway and down the last hill. When I was going around these curves, a ton of runners were cheering me on because I was ahead of Levi but he was fast approaching me. So I kicked it in to the finish. My final time was 9:03 when my previous time was 9:08 so I got faster, and we went along the harder way along the park. Then Levi and I did a SLOW lap cooldown. Then we stretched until my parents go there to pick me up.

Today we had a track workout. We started at the school, ran up to the track. Then we did 2 miles of dynamic stretching. So the first lap was high knees, but kicks, skippy thing, skips, 2 laps of grape vine and a lap of standing on the toes. Then we went over to the hill and did 10 hills starting at half court. Then Caden and I went on a cooldown till we got to 5 miles around Sunnyside park.

Today we had track practice. So we met in the commons and did 2 vertical laps around the school for a warm up. Then we did 3 weird circuits. We did for the first one, 30 speed squats, then 2 100 meter strides at jogging pace, then came and did all around plank things, then we did 4 stairs. We did this cirtcuit twice. For the third circuit we did I think it was speed squats again, then we did the 2 100 meter strides at jogging pace, then we did someting that I can not remember and finishing it off with this weird thing were we sprint against the wall. Then we went in to the weight room and we did 10 pull ups. For the distance workout we were just supposed to go for a light run of 40-45 minutes. I went with Kevin and we went along 1300 east, towards rice eccles stadium, up the street with the stadium, turning on guardsman way, running until 8th south. Going back down to East because we both were freezing!!!!!!!!!!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!. Today I decided to run up to my grandmas house. Not the easy one, the one that was all uphill. So I started at my house, then ran along 1900 east until 2300 south I believe it was. Then taking 2300 east until I get to 3300 south. I ran along 3300 south until I got to 3900 east. I ran up 3900 east until 3900 south. I ran 3900 south until reaching 4300 south. I then turned on this weird street with a white church and then just sprinted to my grandmas house. The entire run was uphill ending with a 800 meter long hill that is as steep as the ones at footlocker. It was a good run that I really needed to train for footlocker. Then when I got to my grandmas there was a thanksgiving feast waiting for me!!!!

Today I went to practice at Sugarhouse Park. I started with a mile warm up at a 6:15 pace, I did mine at 6:23 so pretty close, then to loosen out my legs I did a 800 with Larry. I dont know the time for that but it was way slow. We then walked over to the park, and did, I think it was 12 on and 12 off. So I did a little more than 1 lap of that. Then I just finished for a cooldown until I was at 5 for the day.

Since footlocker is this saturday I had a really easy workout. I met up with Levi at Sugarhouse park and we did a lap warm up. Then I did 8 light posts on (1 on by 1 off (But 8 of them)). Then I just finished out that lap as a cooldown. Came home and stretched a ton because I was a little sore.
