Today East High didnt really have school, because the juniors were taking the ACT. So my drivers ed class decided to have a range day and go driving. I finnished the driving early so I went up to the track and ran some laps. I did 8 miles at the track because I need to do 30 this week and thursday I might not be able to run. I did a 3 mile warm up and then I stretched. I was done stretching so I decided to do 2.5 miles more because I thought I would stop at 5.5 for now and do the last 2.5 at my house later in the day. I decided to do the last 2.5 miles to make it a total of 8 because it was still early and my sister was still taking the ACT so I couldnt go home so I finnished the last 2.5 miles. I havnt done a run that long in a while. When I got home I went in and studied physics and did all my core, crunches and push ups and did the leg weights.

Today at track practice we had a speed workout. We started out with a mile warmup with a mile of speed changes, then after the speed changes we did some stretching. We then started the speed workout. We did a 400, 800, 1200 meter timed. My 400 time was around 80 seconds which is pretty slow for now but it was OK. My 800 meter was 3:03 minutes which is a 6:06 mile which is way slow but its the start of the season and we werent pushing these. I wasnt even tired after these. The workout was mainly to run hard with good form and not to worry about the time. My 1200 time was 5:12 which is way slow but again we werent pushing these hard. After those I was at 3 3/4 miles so I decided to do a 1 1/4 mile cool down to get an even 5 for today. My knee was yesterday during the 8 miler but when I started to run it didnt hurt at all today.

Today was just a easy run to finnish my miles for the week. I went to sugarhouse and did 4.5 miles because thats where I wanted to be by tomorrow. Todays run was a very weird one. My legs didnt hurt I dont think, they were just really heavy and had pressure on them. Which is weird because I rested yesterday and didnt run because I had to go to physics after school and then go to peer court so I couldnt work out at all. Overall today was a horrible running day. Today I went to sugarhouse park and saw almost my whole team. When I came home I ate pizza then did my leg weights, crunches, push ups, and after I did those I did 5 strides just to loosen up my legs (or at least try to).

Today I did 2.5 as a starter then it started to rain so I planned on going to steiner and finnishing it out. But my dad went and dropped my off 1.5 miles away from my house and I had to run home in the ran to get my 4 for the day.

Today we didnt have school, so I went to steiner and did some miles. I went on the treadmill and did a mile warm up at 6:18 pace, then I went to the bike and did 10 miles at 10 resistance because I didnt want to do 10 miles on the treadmill. I have not biked that long in a long time so it actually hurt a lot. While I was biking I saw Mrs. Shields biking and I said hi to her. Overall it was a very painful day running/biking. After that I came home and did my leg weights, crunches, push ups, and lunges. After I studied for Physics for an hour, I went on a shake out run for 2 miles. The shake out run really hurt my legs because I did a ton of weights so my calfs, shins, thighs and others were way sore. After I started running for a half mile they started to loosen up a bit but it hurt all through the run.

Today at track we did a half mile warmup then stretched. We did station weight things that were sooo much fun. I loved the official workout today. Then we did a half mile cooldown as a team. After that since i needed to do more miles I went on 3 miles with Sarah on a very slow pace just to loosen up the old granny legs of ours.

Today at track was the weirdest day ever! We started out with the normal half mile warm up, stretches and then the drills. Then the distance people went in to Matheson's room and got the talk. After the talk I went on a half mile run to get 1 mile for the day. What a long run for the day.

AM: 

Just did 2 miles on the elliptical while studying physics. It was a good morning because now i am now done.

PM: 

Today at track, Me, Amanda, Sarah, Dakota, and Becca did a very hard weights day. We did a ton of moving stretches, then did the usual weights, then did some new ab stuff, then lunges with weights. It was quite hard. After that Becca and I went and did 5 miles as a cool down run and Becca kept up with me for 2.5 miles then that last .5 miles I pushed it as hard as I could. Then we just did a very slow 2 mile run thing back to the school as a cool down. My legs were exhausted after that. Then I came home and did my usual home weights. OUCH my legs are soo much in pain and are soo tired!!

Today since I had soo much homework to do, I couldnt go for that long. So my whole family went up to the avenues and while I ran the I street 4 mile loop, they walked for a little bit. After I did that loop, My dad dropped my 2 miles away from the house and I was supposed to run that very hard. I did those two miles in 12:21 minutes, which is not that fast but it was sort of a cooldown/ speed last 2 miles. After all of that I came home and did the Weights, arm swings, calf raises, push ups, crunches and weighted lunges.

This morning I had to get up and study Physics for a while so I went on the elyptical and did 2 miles while studying physics. I went to school and then to track practice. At practice I did a half mile warmup, then we did 6 one houndred meter sprints then went up to the top floor jogged 100 meters, then went down a floor and walked 100 meters. We did that 6 times so it added up to a mile. Then I went on the distance run. Me, Abigail, Sarah, and Hussain is how I think you spell his name, we went on an adventure run. We started at the school, ran up1 mile to a gulley, did 2 miles in the gulley, did another half mile in there and ran to sunnyside park to finnish out that mile. Then we went to the park and did 1.5 laps in there so we were at 4.5 and I wanted six so we ran back, more like sprinted back because were supposed to sprint the last part of the run everyday. After that I went home and watched TV and did my weights, weighted arm swings, crunches, and push ups.

Today at track, we started with a half mile warm up. Then we did the team stretching things, the 20 push ups, and then the hurdle stretches that are way hard. Then I did one lap of speed changes and then the speed started. We started with 4 timed 200 under 39 for all of them, while jogging the other 200 on the grass. My first was 31 seconds, I stayed up with Tomy for that one. Second was39, also staying with Tomy on all 4 of them. Third was 35, fourth was 35. So that put my at 1.75 miles so far. Then we did 2 timed 400s with a lap in between the two. My time was supposed to be 74 seconds but I was 80 for the first one Also staying with Tomy and my second one was 75. That put me at 2.5 miles. Then we did another timed 200 with jogging the curve and then we took a lap recovery. So we did 3 miles right now. Then we did another 200 which my time was 34 seconds jogging the other 200 and taking another lap of recovery.that put us at 3.5. So then we did our last timed 400 and my time was finally 74 seconds. Then since I was at 3.75 miles and also Ricky complained we had to do a longer cool down so I did 2.25 mile cool down because I was way sore.

AM:

2 on the elyptical  while studying physics.

PM: 

At track today, since yesterday we did some speed, todays workout was quite easy. We started by putting the metal pole thingy up around the track because of the big meat that is coming up on friday. Then we did uniforms, sweat sizes, and signing up for our event for friday's meet. Then the actual running workout started. We started with a  mile warmup and then the stretching so we dont get injured this close to a meet. Then, me, tomy, and ricky all as a group did 2 miles of speed changes. Then when we were done with those I stretched because throughout the entire workout my legs had been killing me because of how sore they were. Then we all went to different 100 meter marks on the track and timed the girl in a 400 because yesterday there last 400 time was not the greatest. That put me at 3 miles so then I did a 2 mile cool down to give me 7 for the day. Then after my workout Tania wanted me too pace her in a 800 because that is what she is running on friday. So I did that with her so I ended up with 7.5 for the day.

Today since it was a day before a race, I only did 4 miles. I did a mile warm up, 1 mile of "J's" which are you sprint 150 meters and recover the last 50 meters then repeat, I did that for one mile. Then I did a 2 mile cool down.

So since today was our first race of the season I wanted to start the season under 6 minutes. So I did a 1.5 mile warm up then stretched. Then I did strides, high knees, butt kicks, high skips and some other things. Then I raced. It was a great race to start out the season with.

Today at track we started with a half mile of warmup, then stretched then a ton of drills. Then I did 2 laps of "Js" so I was at one mile. Then we did 2 miles of speed changes jogging the straights the sprinting the curves then jogging the curves then sprinting the straights. Then I did a mile cool down. Then I went and was gonna drive but the person I was gonna drive with blew me off so I went and did another mile so i could do 7 for the day. Then I walked home which is 2 miles haha

AM:

This morning I did 2 miles before school. I went on the eliptical and studied physics doing so. It was quite boring. 

PM:

At track I had to show up late because I had to do a physics lab so I did. When I got to track, tony had me do a half mile warmup then to jump in to the workout. So we started with 2 200s and my times were at 35 and 32. Then we did a 400 and my time was 75. We repeated this two more times. My tiems were 35, 35, and 75. last set was 37, 34, and 88, I dont know what happened on that last 400 but I lost it and did horrible. That put me at 4 miles so far. Then I did a mile cooldown and a mile on the eliptical. Then I did my weights, and all of those other things like crunches, push ups, and calf raises, and the holding up leg things.

This morning, before Going to school I did 2.5 miles on the elyptical while studying my life away with PHYSICS!!!!

In the afternoon at track, We did speed. We did a half mile warmup, then we did a mile of Js. So we were at 1.5 miles so far. Then we did 4 400s. My times were 75, 75, 79, 78. I dont know what was going on in this workout because I was totally wiped out today. It wasnt even that hard of a workout but I was so tired while and after the workout. Maybe, hoprfully it was the wind becasuse it was quite windy that day. After I took a few minutes of break, I had to go because I had a physics project to finnish and to go to peer court. So after I caught my breath, I did a mile cooldown and called it a day. Then I went and got 2 cheeseburgers before I went to peer court..... YUM

Today I had a race so I did a mile warm up, way too far away from the race start. Then I did some strides with stretching, and I still had 20 minutes till the gun went off, I should of continued warming up but I didnt want to loose my spot at the start. So I went and my first mile was 6:29 which is what I wanted it to be, 2 mile time was 13:31 so I slowed down a ton, By the time that I got to the track to finnish I felt so sick that I couldnt kick it in. I just wanted to finnish with out puking but My time was horrible. It was 2.5 minutes slower than cross country regions. Then I did a 2 mile cool down and then came home and did 2 miles on the elyptical while studying physics.

Today since Abigail told me that every two miles on the elliptical is one mile of running. I only did 1 mile today while stydying physics. Which also sucks in more ways than ONE!!! Then after I refilmed my physics project for the 5th time, might I add. I did another 2 miles of the elliptical so in running lingo I did another mile haha while studying physics. Because that is what I have been spending my life doing!!

Two running miles while I was studying physics on the elliptical because I woke up way late today! ahh

At track practice it was the main speed for the week. We started with a half mile warm up, then a mile of "Js" then some striding 200s while jogging the other 200s. Then the real speed started. We did a 600, 400, 200 then jogging the other 400 as a recovery. For those my times were 2:14, 80, 36. So then we were at a 3 miles. Then we did a 300, another 600, and then finished out with another 300. For those my times were 58, 2:11, and finally 55 seconds. Then we were at 4 miles so far. Then for the last part of the workout we did 8 100 meter strides all around 15 seconds. Then because it was getting freezing and I wanted to leave haha, I only did a half mile as a cool down. Which is good with me.

Then since I felt way guilty for only doing a half mile cool down, I did another two miles of running lingo on the elliptical to make me feel better and to make it so that I wasn't as sore later tonight and tomorrow because today was a pretty tough speed day.

I did one mile in the morning because of the level of soreness in my legs. Then I went and studied for physics for 20 minutes because of the unknown upcoming test that is bound to be coming any day now. And in physics today, today is the big day that im giving my presentation!! AHH wish me luck.

At track practice today was  quite the easy workout. I started with a mile warm up then did a half mile of "Js" then did the speed thing for today because tomorrow is a race. I did a 400 at a 71 pace. Then I did a mile and a fourth for a cool down.

Today was just a dual meet against highland for track. Since it was also team pictures today, we were late to the meet. Highland messed up the order of events because they started with the mile, really? who starts with the mile. So since I had no time to warm up I only could do a half mile of a warm up. Then I raced. My first lap was 79 seconds, 800 time was 2:47, 1200 time was ? then the overall time for the 1600 meter today was a 5:48 which is a PR by nearly 11 seconds in the mile which is great. Then me and Ricky went on a run around the road of the park to do a sort of cool down and a warm up thing for the half mile that I was going to run later. Then I did that 1.5 mile run, but then we had a good hour till the 800 so I went on the field and stretched, did strides, jogged in place, etc. Just to stay warmed up, that didnt work.. Finally the half mile started so My first lap was around 73 seconds which I thought was good considering I had already did the 1600 meter earlier that day, then My overall time was  a 2:40. In both races that I ran today I had a PR in. In the 1600 I PR'd by 11 seconds then in the 800 I PR'd by 7 seconds which is way good considering it is the only second meet of the season. Then for a cool down finally I only did a half mile because I was so tired and hungry.

Today at track practice it was quite the easy workout. We started with the half mile warm up with the team then the group stretching. Then since Tony needed to get us started, we did so. Me, Ricky, Noemi, Angela, and another girl all went on a 4 mile run. We started at the East High Track, then we ran up Sunnyside Avenue, went in to the Sunnyside Park and did 2 laps as a group. About half way into the second lap, I found a Tennis Ball!!!!! then Ricky found a softball, it was quite the ball finding run hahahaha. Then we went down to the track because our time was almost up so since we were only at 2.5 miles, I did 2 laps at the track so then I was at 3 miles. Then we went onto the football field and did 8 100 meter strides BAREFOOT. YAY. Then I was at 3.5 miles and I at least wanted to hit around 4 for the day so I went on a 1 mile cool down doing grass laps, so it was 2 laps. Then when I came home, I did my leg weights, so the leg curls, holding knees up things, squats, and some other thing that I dont know the name of it. Then I did push ups, crunches, and weighted arm swings. Finally I did some intense stretching because I was way sore. Then I did 1 mile in running lingo on the elliptical because 1) I needed to study physics for my Center of Gravity test and 2) I needed more miles haha
