Today since I slept in again I couldn't go on the elliptical this morning. Oh well. Since I couldn't go to the track meet today since I was driving with Talk today I did my own workout. I started with a mile warm up, a mile of speed changes so jogging the straights and sprinting the curves, a mile of speed changes with jogging the curves and sprinting the straight aways, then a mile of "Js" so start at the 150 meter mark and sprint 150 meters and then jog 50 meters of recovery. So by this time I was at 4 miles with 3 of them being speed changes. Then since my parents were at the track I had to do a fast 1 mile cool down because I needed time to go home and eat and shower before I went driving. Then I came home from driving and did 3 sets of 1 minute wall sits, some leg weights on the machine, holding your knee up for a minute thingy, weighted arm swings for a minute with three sets of those, non weighted calf raises, and three sets of 15 squats. Then I went on the elliptical and did 3 miles on that as sort of a cool down while I was studying physics. |
