am--6.5 Anasazi and a BPB interview. Made for a nice Saturday morning. 
 

pm--3.5 Slow tready miles to hit 5 hours of running this week. 

am--4 SC Drive and Vineyard back w/ my neighbor. Fun to hit the roads again even if I need to struggle to adjust. Saw some xc kids. 

am--4.5 Heights w/ 3x :60 @ mid-7s pace. 'Twas fun to pick up the pace a bit. I don't do it enough. Saw the xc kids again.

am--5 Old morning route up past the high school w/ 9x :20 w/ enough recovery to do another. Felt good to throw in some pickups. I'm also just finishing up The Maltese Falcon by Dashiell Hammett.

am--4.5 Harmon's Trail w/ James and Tyler. Feel like I might be getting something back.

am--5 Canyons and back w/ Tyler. Starting to feel better on the roads.

am--7 Anasazi w/ some Northern Disclosure. Nice way to finish a bigger week.

am--4 New bridge on the first day of school. First time I heard about designer missions.

am--5 Heights w/ 5x :60 threshold pickups w/ until we were ready recoveries (~2:00). Days like this feel good.

am--5 Green Valley Loop w/ my neighbor. Controversial LDS history has come up lately.

am--4.5 Old morning route w/ 10x fartlek strides on the road. Felt okay even if it was a bit warm this morning.

am--5.25 Canyons by my lonesome. Slightly fatigued but feeling a bit stronger every few days.

am--6.5 Anasazi by my lonesome. I've had 2 good weeks in a row. I also finished a new-to-me detective novel, Fer-De-Lance by Rex Stout.

am--4 New Bridge route. We were a tad bit faster today.

am--5 Heights w/ threshold pickups--:60, 2:00, :60, 2:00, :60 w/ :60 recovery. It felt good. I like change of pace work. I also finished The Postman Always Rings Twice by James M. Cain. Short and brutal and an influence on Camus.

am--5 Green Valley loopish by my lonesome. I saw a small doe and buck by the alfalfa field. 

am--5 Old morning route w/ 10x stride fartleks all under 6-minute pace, good for me.

I finished The Poetry Home Repair Manual by Ted Kooser.

am--3.25 Towards Canyons and back. I helped with the chain gang in the heat last night and was beat this morning. Getting out was a win.

am--4 Anasazi lite w/ Tom. 'Twas good catching up.

pm--3.75 Slow tready miles. Nice to hit 30 3 weeks in a row. Consistency is a beautiful mistress.

am--4 New Bridge route on a tired morning.

am--5 Heights w/ 5x threshold pickups--2,1,2,1,2--w/ :60 rest. Ran into and w/ Abigail for a while.

am--5 Green Valley Loop. Felt okay on the morning of a biggish day. I also finished another detective novel, The Lauhing Policeman by Maj Sjöwall and Per Wahlöö.

am--5 Old morning route w/ 10x fartlek strides. Change of pace feels good.

am--5 Canyons and back by my lonesome. 
 

pm--3.25 Anasazi truncated on a little cooler afternoon.

am--5.75 River trail w/ my buddy while his car was getting serviced. Slower than other runs lately, but it was a nice end to a good week. We also saw the Quinns and Mia.
