I finished On Writing by Stephen King. Really an enjoyable book. It makes me want to read more of his work. So far, I’ve only read a few novellas and The Gunslinger.

| | am--9 Sugar Loaf long run w/ some 5-min. + pickups at progressively faster paces. I flipped w/ the freshies--it was fun to push w/ them--then ran back to meet the others. My leg really started feeling the pace and push, but I can't really pinpoint what's causing the pain. It almost feels like something at the lower insertion of the hamstring. I may have to take a few days off. I was limping most of the day. Also, had a chance to push the kids on the idea of a personal theme song.

| | am--5 Cafe Rio and back. After a few days off to rest what I think is irritation to the pes anserine, I got to run w/ the kiddos again. The run was nearly perfect. The girls worked to stay w/ each other, and we built the pace through the run. Plus, I was able to talk to Stoner, JP, Kaylee, Frida, and Mia. What a great group! Overall, good morning even though I felt the leg on the last half of the run.
