| I ran with Chad this morning and we ran out to pretty little hill and did that loop and then back to my house, we both decided to takle it pretty easy so we did, average pace was 9:03 with a total time of 46:06. My legs had no energy today and I felt pretty darn flat, just kind of a labored run but I'm still gald I got her done this morning.

| I ran the Payson park Loop again this morning but cut out the rollers, this was by far the worst run I have had in a long while, it was a total death march from the start and I am wondering if it was even productive at all... I guess the mileage was a positive but that was it, I am wondering if I'm not getting enough water during the day... Just a very tough run and I guess its a mental builder but that's about it. Average pace was 8:58 with a total time of 55:49, I finished up with some lite upper body weight training and then some push-ups.

| I ran out to Gu Via Mini GU and I was not having a real good run, pretty much a death march like it has been the whole week, but then after about 4 miles or so my legs started to get into a better rhythm and my pace got a little easier... I don't know what happened other than I feel like I ran the tiredness out of them and they started to cooperate a little bit, My average pace was 8:34 with a total time of 1:26:41, I had two 8 minute miles towards the end so I am counting those as MP. I like a run where I feel stronger at the end at that seemed to happen today, I am glad that I got out because I almost stayed in bed.

| I started my run out towards Payson but after about 2 miles I realized that I was having stomach issues so I turned for home and just barly made it, after taking care of business I headed out past the Stake Center and to the T in the road and then back to the house to finish up. I felt better in the second half of the run than I did in the first half, but that seems to be the trend as of late. My average pace for the run was 8:33 with a total time of 1:01:16, after the run I finished up with some lite upper body weight training and then some push-ups, I also did some sit-ups on the big blue rubberball. It has been a good start to the week.

| I ran out to Mini GU and then back to the house via canal road, I averaged just under a 9 minute mile on the way out and then on the way back I picked it up a little bit and the last few miles I did some strides, last mile was MP at 7:54. My average pace was 8:36 with a total time of 52:13, after the run I did some one legged squats, two sets of 15 on both legs.

| So I planted over 1100 flowers in my yard yesterday and I can't even move, it feels like I have done 1100 squats! It feels like I ran 2 marathons back to back. I'm just getting to old to do that every year and I always have the same result, stiff and Sore!

| So I have been trying everything I can to loosen up these legs but nothing seems to help... I have rolled them, I have tried the elliptical and messaging them as well to no avail. I am wondering if there are other issues in play here or I'm I really as old as I feel, I can't believe that this all from planting a bunch of damn flowers.. It happens to me every year but usually by now I am feel good and back to running, so i don't know what to think! I planted 1,331 flowers which is about what I did last year, so it is hard to beleive that it would be any different.. I will try running tomorrow and see how it goes but if they don't loosen up then I will be done until Monday, it's been a tough week and 'Im a little ticked because I started it off so good!

| My legs finally felt like running this morning, so I ran the Payson Park Loop and extended down to the Park. My pace was steady but by the end of the run I was feeling a little tired, but it was a great run and I'm so happy that my legs are feeling better. My average pace was 8:29 with a total time of 1:00:50, after the run I did my upper body weight training, I just kept it lite with one set of each exercise, finished up with some push-ups. I was able to talk to Abby over Skype yesterday, it was so good to see her. She is an awesome missionary and is doing a great job, I am so, so proud of her.

| I ran out past Mini GU and then back to the house, still a little nippy this morning I had to wear a Beanie and gloves, it is suppose to warm up this week so that will be nice. Pace was a little slower than normal but not much, my average was 8:40 with a total time of 52:33, after the run I did a little lower legs strength training. The run felt okay except for the last half mile I was really tired in the legs, but its all good... Another great start to another day...

My legs were pretty dead the second half of the run which is a change as of late, usually its been the other way around.

| I took the day off today so I did a mid morning run and I ran over to the base of Harry's Hill then I ran up that beast, over to woodland hills Drive then down to Canal road and then back home. Its a good mix of uphill and downhill and I felt pretty good going up harry's hill in my legs but the lungs would not cooperate... The downhill felt pretty good but I could feel it pretty bad towards the end of that section, but all in all it was a good run and I'm glad I got her done for the day. It was starting to get hot by the time I was done so its going to be morning runs for most of the time now. Average pace was 8:23 with a total time of 53:33

| Fridays are usually optional running days for me but I decided to go for a little run and just keep things steady. I ran out past the Old barn on canal road towards Payson and then back to the house. My average pace was 8:36 with a total time opf 35:00 minutes, longer run tomorrow.

| I was up at 6am and then out the door at 6:20 or so, I ran out past Mini GU and then up to GU and then back to the house, I decided to add a few more so I ran out to the old barn on canal road for the extra few miles. My pace I had to recalculate a little as I stopped at the Stake Center and I forgot to stop it, so I think I'm pretty close. My average pace was 8:36 with a total time of 1:27:00, I felt pretty bad through the first half of the run but then I started to loosen up and the second half was a lot better... I had a VPB at about mile 6 so that was real special, luckly I was prepared. I have had a great week of training, at least for me anyway, and I hope it is a spring board to better things to come.

| I ran the Payson Park loop this morning but I didn't extend down to the park, my legs were really tired and by the time I got back to the house it was a death march, it was not a fun run but I got her done. I still have the pinched nerve down my left leg and it really bothers my lower leg area, its not real fun. It takes a few miles to get it to go away as far as the pain and then its not to bad, or should I say its tolerable. Sometimes I wonder if I can really keep running, it always seems to be something that holds me back... I hope this doesn't keep me from training and missing SG again, if does I might be done for good. I finished up with some lite upper body weight training and then some push-ups. My average pace was slow at 8:57 with a total time of 55:42.

| I ran the Payson Park Loop this morning and I extended all the way to the Park, it was a nice morning but the run was very difficult. The last few miles were pretty tough and basically just jogged them in, I'm not sure what happened but my legs were so dead. My average pace was way slow at 9:04 with a total time of 1:04:55, after the run I did my upper body weight training and then finished up with some push-ups. Tough run and day and I wonder sometimes on a run like this if it really does me any good... Maybe it toughened me up mentally, who knows, but a run is a run and I will count this as in the bag, so to speak.

| I ran out to Mini Gu and then back to the house, I felt better than yesterday but still pretty tired towards the end. It must have been form the leg presses on Tuesday that I did, pretty much made my legs dead. My average pace was still slower than normal at 8:46 with a total time of 53:15. I will probably run tomorrow to just to see if the old legs are getting better, I have had another pretty good week so far.

| I ran out towards Mini GU and I ran into Chad and Tom and Dan, so I ran with them up and around the pretty little hill loop and then back to GU Corner down to the base of Heart Break Hill, dropped them off there and then ran back to the house to finish up. I felt okay after my leg loosened up, but by the end of the run I was really starting to feel it, my average pace 8:35 with a total time of 1:37:31. I'm happy with the last few weeks of training and I hope this leg pain doesn't cause me to much trouble.
