| I started out this morning towards Payson for a couple of miles but then I started having stomach issues so I decided to try and make it back home, but I didn't! After finding a suitable area for my VPB and taking care of business I headed home to take another pit stop. After that I headed out past the Stake Center to finish up, it was a pretty brutal run as far as my stomach was concerned:( My average pace was just steady at 8:35 with a total time of 1:00:32, my legs were pretty tired towards the end and I was glad to be done!

| I got home from work and headed out, it was a beautiful day and I was able to run in shorts which great to say in the month of January. the plan was to run Harrys Hill and then drop down over on to Woodland Hills drive and then down to canal road and then home. I didn't feel real great going up Harry's but I was able to get her done, and then I just let the downhill of woodland hills carry me. On the downhill portion I had a 7:49 mile but I was just trying to keep it easy, I didn't want to push to hard today and I think I accomplished that for the most part. My average pace was 8:35 with a total time of 54:48, the air was pretty bad again today I really felt it going up Harry's but less on the downhill and flat portions. I've been really steady this week with my training and I am glad.

| Fridays are usually a day off or a small run, so today I went with a nice easy small run, I ran out past the old barn on canal road towards Payson. I ran have the mileage that I usually do during the week, so just over 3 miles, my average pace was 8:37 with a total time of 28:23... I finished up with some upper body weight training and then some push-ups, it was a nice little run and I just couldn't pass up the nice day, I ran in shorts again.

| I ran out past GU Corner down into the river bottoms and then back to the house via canal road, roads at the start were pretty slick but better on the way home. My legs were pretty dead from the get go but I knew that would probably be with the increased mileage this week but I was able to get her done and it was a great week of training, at least for me anyway. My average pace was slow at 8:58 with a total time of 1:30:24, I would like to be able to do this every week through the winter just over 40 miles but I will have to see how that goes.

| I ran the Payson Park loop after work, I included the rollers but I wasn't feeling real great just real choppy, I felt a lot better towards the end than I did at the first, I must have forgot to turn off my watch when I got done cuz it was still on after I stretched so I have no numbers on that. Judging by the miles pace it was around 8:45 average or so, I must have zoned out when I finished or I just didn't pueh the stop botton hard enough. After the run I did my upper body weight training and then finished up with some push-ups.

| I ran in the morning today and then plan was to run Harry's Hill, I ran out past the Stake center and then to the base of Harry's and then headed up. I felt pretty good going up and I was about 10 seconds faster than last week, I then hit the downhill and the wheels came off so to speak. I felt like I just hit the wall and it was a death march the rest of the way home, I really don't know what happened, I felt good on the first half and thought this would be one of my better runs but it never happened! Oh well, at least I was able to get her done. My average pace 8:48 with a total time of 56:02, just a real weird run can't explain it at all!

| I ran out to GU this morning and then back towards the house, did a mile repeat between Mini GU and the stake center and then back to the house, I was feeling pretty good so I tacked on another couple miles out to the old barn and back via canal road. My pace was good at times and then not so good, but my average for the run was 8:35 with a total time of 1:35:12. I've still been having problems with my abdomen, in fact its really never gone away. It is slightly better than it has been but it is still hanging around, it seems to affect me more on quicker paces and longer runs so it should be an eventful St. George Half Marathon next Saturday. It was a pretty solid week again this week, I didn't run yesterday because my body just kind of said no and I had a pretty good run today so it was good that I listened to my body for a change. Not sure what my runs will consist of next week, it will depend on how I am feeling, probably normal runs on Monday and Tuesday and then do a little taper from there to the race. I ran into my brother and his son Bryan they were out getting there run done too!

| After work tonight I ran the Payson Park Loop but I cut out the rollers, I didn't feel good at first but after the old body loosened up I felt pretty good for the rest of the run. I was able to get in a pretty good rhythm, mile 4 was 7:48 and I didn't feel like I was working hard at all so I made sure I throttled it back a bit after that, I want to take it pretty easy up until the race on Saturday. My average pace was 8:25 with a total time of 52:36, after the run I finished up with some upper body weight training and then some push-ups. Good run today and I'm glad I got out!

| I ran after work today and I just went out past the stake center via Canal road, it was sure a nice day with the sunshine on my shoulders. I kept the pace pretty easy and just enjoyed the day, average pace was 8:34 with a total time of 35:07, I will probably run a few tomorrow before we head down to ST George I just want to keep the legs loose.

| I really had a great race. I will give details later. I had a 3 minute PR from last years race so pretty darn happy!

Details.
I staretd off a little fast fir the first mile so i backed off a bit and it seemed to work, here are my splits.
1. 7:33 way to fast so I backed off a little.
2. 7:50 with a little uphill much better pace for my fitness level.
3. 7:53 this is a better pace for me, but I wanted around 7:50.
4. 7:45 feeling pretty good and just trying to bale hay so to speak.
5. 7:50 good.
6. 7:56 this is always a tough part of the course for me mentally, these darn rollers.
7. 7:56 trying to stay with it mentally.
8. 7:25 pushed the hill pretty good here and I thought "Are you crazy" but I was feeling pretty good so I went with it.
9. 7:39 still hanging in there.
10. 7:42 feeling okay and thinking about a possible PR but trying to focus on the mile at hand.
11. 7:45 feeling a little tired but just trying to get to the barn.
12. 7:44 hanging in there.
13. 7:34 during this mile I realized that I might be able to break 1:40 so I picked it up a bit.
.10 7:04 giving it all i got but just missed sub 1:40.
I am really happy with this race and so Happy to get a 3 minute course PR, everything felt pretty good, my abdominal was a little bit of a bother but didn't really get any worse so I just went with it. It was a great day too for my Son Ethan who ran his first half marathon today and he ran a 1:33:00, he hasn't ran hardly at all since cross country and he had no long runs at all. I am really proud of him and it would be cool to see what he could do with some serious training under his belt, he finsihed 4th in his age which he was excited about!
Update with Offical time and place; 169th overall and 9th in age with a time of 1:40:34

| I ran out past the stake center and then towards Mini GU, just went pretty easy and my legs felt pretty darn good. My back is still pretty Jacked up from the hotel bed but I think it will come around, my abdominal is tender but it really didn't bother me to bad at all on the run. My average pace was at 8:35 with a total time of 43:55, I will gradually ease back into it this week but the only race on the schedule is the Spectrum 10K in March so I'm not going crazy with mileage, maybe upper 30 to 40 miles a week or less.

| After work I ran out past the stake center and then I ran the pretty little hill loop and then back home, my back was way jacked up again for some reason but I was able to get her done. Average pace was 9:00 even with a total time of 47:19, it was slower but a lot of that was my back just would let me get the turn over but thats okay. I'm glad I was able to get out again this week and I ran in shorts which was nice.

| I havent' been able to run in a few3 days so i decided to get out for at least a few miles, I ran out past mini GU and then back to the house, I didn't have a watch so I don't know pace or time. I felt pretty good going out but not so good on the way back, but it was a nice day and the sun was out so that was a good thing! Abdominal was still tender so that was a concern, don't really know whats goin on there but I have been fighting it for about 5 months now... I can still run which is a good thing but it hinders my turn over some, oh well I have to learn to take the good with the bad.

| I ran the Payson Park Loop after work today and extended down to the park, it was pretty nice again and I ran in shorts so that is always a good thing. I felt pretty good today for a change and my pace was pretty up beat I had 3 miles that were sub 8:15 miles so that was fun, I didn't feel to labored on them either. Abdominal is a little tender but not bad, average pace was 8:21 with a total time 1:00:00 even, so it was a good day for a change and I'll take it!

I had a few snow flakes along the way but all in all it was a pretty good day. My average pace was 8:42 with a total time of 53:06, abdominal was about the same but no worse for wear, I do have some tightness in my left hip after a few miles so I'll need to watch that.

| I ran out past Mini GU corner and half way up Power house road and then back to the house, felt pretty good going out but pretty terrible on the way back, it felt like a death march the last 3 miles. My pace was 8:46 with a total time of 1:02:52, I ran into my brother and his son Bryan it was good to see them out and about. I need to find away to get my Mojo back, I was pretty lazy this week and I need to get back to being more consistent but not over doing it. I was glad that I got out today and it was a good way to end the week.

| I ran out to Payson and ran the payson park loop and extended down into the Park, I was really tender in my lower abdomin again but it was tolerable after I got loosened up. I'm beginning to wonder if Its ever going to heal or is there something else wrong, its been a frustrating injury. I was okay speed wise but I didn't feel real great during the run but then again I haven't ran for 3 days so I can't expect to much. My aveage pace was 8:36 with a total time of 1:01:48, after the run I did some upper body weight training and then finished up with some push-ups. I wish I could figure this darn thing out, It doesn't do any good to lay off the running because it doesn't seem to make it any better, so the plan is to be more consistant with the running and then see how it goes.

Felt pretty good on each on so that was a pleasant surprise and I felt a little better today which was a good sign, I'm still fighting trying to get my Mojo back. My average pace was 8:25 with a total time of 1:07:58, next week the goal is to start doing some morning runs again and try and be more consistent. Tomorrow is my daughter Abby's Mission farewell, she heads off on Wednesday so that will be a tough couple of days for me as a Dad, I'm really proud of her and she is going to make a great missionary!!! She's all grown up and its hard to believe, time has flown by so darn fast.

| Morning run today and I ran out to Payson Park and back via Canal road, didn't feel real great this morning but I got her done. Last mile or two felt like the classic death march, average pace was slow at 8:53 with a total time of 1:03:44. After the run I did my upper body weight training and then finished up with some push-ups. Abby did such a great job on her farewell talk for her mission yesterday, I am so proud of her! It will be hard to send her off on Wednesday, its so much tougher sending a girl than it is a guy, I guess its tough either way you look at it.

| I ran out past Mini GU and then back to the house via canal road, I don't know what the deal was today but I felt really good, a total turn around from yesterday. I just keep the pace upbeat and enjoyed the run, the weather was perfect couldn't ask for a better morning. My average pace was 8:16 with a total time of 50:20, after the run I did a couple sets of one legged leg squats. Great run! Abby leaves for her mission in the morning, we have to be at the airport at 4-am so it should be a morning full of tears.

| We had to have Abby up at the airport at 4am so she could catch her flight to the Mexico MTC, so I really never went to sleep... I thought it wouldn't bother me to much sending her off on her mission but I just lost it!!! I have been a blubbering mess all day and I almost can't even function, I am so proud of her andI I know she will make a great missionary but it is so hard sending her off for some reason, but I know it whats she been wanting to do so go get em Sweet pea!!!

| I got home later after work so I just ran over to the Base of Harry's Hill and then ran the pretty little hill loop and then back to the house, I felt really good again today, kinda like Tuesdays run just really fluid. I had one mile that was sub 7:50 so I counted that as a MP mile, my average pace was 8:14 with a total time of 43:25. I didn't get out yesterday because of difficulty of the day, but I am feeling much better now, if you want to know then read my post yesterday. The plan is to run tomorrow morning and I am going to work hard to do it.

| I got off work a little early and I decide to run, it was a beautiful day and so nice I just couldn't pass it up! I ran the Payson Park Loop and extended down to the park, I felt okay but not as good as yesterday and the day before that but today was just about getting some mileage in and not worrying about the pace so much... My average pace was 8:35 with a total time of 1:01:34, after the run I did my upper body weight training and then finished up with some push-ups. I was a little lazy this morning and slept in, I've been having that problem as of late and I really need to try and fix that!

| I ran out to Gu Corner and then back to the house via canal road, I didn't feel real great going out but I felt better on the way back in, I'm still fighting my abdominal pain but its tolerable. The pain that I'm feeling from that it's on the right side below the navel, if that's not to graphic, I've been dealing with it for about 4 months now. I feel like I had a good week of training, at least for me anyway, and I would like to keep it going now. My average pace was 8:41 with a total time of 1:10:08, I was a little slower this morning but still okay considering I had a late run yesterday afternoon. I had a nice sausage and egg breakfast after the run for my reward for a steady week of training and it hit the spot!

| I ran after work today and I ran out past Mini GU and then back to the house, pace was pretty up beat for me and I was angry the whole run, I just couldn't seem to clear my head. The way was feeling had nothing to do with run I just couldn't clear my head of life's struggles, lets just say Its not fun being a Stepfather and I'll leave it at that. My average pace 8:16, man I must have been angry, and then my total time was 50:24, I did 2 sets of 15 one legged squats to finish up.

| I left work at around 1 today and was on the road running by 1:30, I ran the Payson Park Loop and extended down to the Park. I felt okay but not great, better after a few miles and I was able to loosen up but the last mile or so I felt pertty tired. I guess thats what happens when you take a few days off, I seem to feel better when I ran everyday, you think I would get the message. My average pace was 8:27 with a total time of 1:00:39, I did some stretching after to finish up.

| I ran the Payson Park loop but I cut out the rollers and I didn't extend to the park, it was a beautiful morning and it reminded me how great the morning runs can be if you will only give them a chance. I felt okay, better on the inward half than going out and my average pace was 8:36 with a total time of 53:37. After the run I did my upper body weight training, just real lite, one set of each exercise. Ethan has his first High school soccer game today, I can't believe the season is here already it seems like we just finished last year but here we are again.

| Another morning run and I ran the Mini GU Corner loop via canal road, I felt pretty good on the way out but then with a couple miles to go I had a fight with some stomach issues and I lost that fight... After the VPB I really felt horrible my legs were rubbery and I slowed way down to like a 9:15 pace, I could barley move. I felt like before I left that I was coming down with something so I don't know if this is just the start or what but I feel like I have been beat with a bat. My average pace was 8:48 with a total time of 53:48, I hope I'm not getting sick...

| I felt a little better this morning so I ran out past Mini Gu corner and then back to the house, I felt pretty good considering the cold that I have been fighting the last few days... My pace was upbeat at 8:16 average with a total time of 50:18, after the run I did some one legged squats, 2 sets of 15. I have the Spectrum 10K next Saturday so that should be fun, I'm not expecting to much just get some tempo miles in and get it done, its my last race of the runners series to get me into SGM. My goal is get back to being more consistent next and the weeks following, I have been way lazy the last month.

| I ran after work today, I'm feeling a little better from my cold but still not great but I felt like I had to get out today. I ran 4 miles and then I meet my Nephew Jake at my house because he wanted to run a few miles, so we ran out past the old barn and then back to the house. It was pretty windy so it was a struggle at times but we kept the pace honest and just did our best. My average pace was 8:19 with a total time of 50:42, after the run I did my upper body weight training and then finished up with some push-ups. I felt pretty darn good today, still a little weak from my cold but pretty darn good.

| I ran with my two nephews, Jake and Jeff, we ran out past the stake center and out to the "T" in the road and then back to the house. My legs are feeling pretty good right no for some reason , they seem to want to run but I have been holding them back as not to over do it, after dropping them off I ran out to the old barn on canal road and then back to the house to tack on a few more. My average pace was 8:13 with a total time of 45:28, I hope my legs stay like they are now, ready to run, I would like to have a good race on Saturday even though I've been a little lazy as of late.

| I ran the Spectrum 10K this morning down in St George, it was a beautiful morning and conditions were perfect. I warmed up for about 10 minutes before the race and then the gun went off.
Mile 1. 6:39 Way to fast and I do this every year...
Mile 2. 7:04 this is more like it. Feeling okay.
Mile 3. 7:00 Good.
Mile 4.7:13 I was starting to have stomach issues here, I have had a cold and my legs were feeling a little rubbery, having a hard time breathing too. A little up hill on this mile.
Mile 5. 7:28 I really died here for some reason, I couldn't work through the stomach issues and my lungs just couldn't get enough air.
Mile 6 7:43 I'm really dissapointed with this mile, I was not feeling good, this mile cost me a 10K PR.
.20 7:13 Recovered a little bit here but not enough.
I feel okay with the overall race considering I was in bed on Sunday and not feeling well, I need to get more consistant with my training and re-dedicate myself.
Course PR buy about 30 Seconds. I'll take even though I died towards the end.
Average Pace was 7:11 according to my watch.

| I went out for a morning run and I ran out past the Stake Center and towards Mini GU, Legs felt okay at the start but after a few miles they really were hurting and non responsive... The last few miles were pretty brutal, especially the last mile, I felt like I was crawling. Average pace was slow at 8:58 with a total time of 36:31, I did some stretching after word, I don't know if I will run tomorrow or not I will have to see how I'm feeling, my calves were really sore and just hurt, that must be from the downhill portion of the race Saturday.

| I ran late morning today and I ran out past Mini GU via canal road, I felt a lot better today than Thursday it seems all the little pesky stiffness has subsided my pace on the way out was way to fast at 8:11 so I toned it down on the way back. With about 2 miles left I felt a knot in my right calf, I was able to run through it and it loosened up but I hope this doesn't hold me back any. My average pace 8:17 with a total time of 50:24, the weather was perfect too! Now its off to see if I can still swing a golf club, its been a good 8 months since I have played, thats the longest I've every gone in my life. I have just been to busy with other things, mainly kids and work but today worked out so I would have a chance so I'm going to take it!

| It was such a nice afternoon that I had to get out and enjoy the great weather! I was able to hit the road a little after 3-pm and I ran out past mini GU and then back to the house via canal road, I felt pretty darn good and I had NO calve issues so that was a good thing. The pace was upbeat and my average was 8:16 with a total time of 50:21, it was the first day of this tear that I felt hot and it really loosened up the old muscles. I'm really glad i got out and now its off to Ethan's JV soccer game.

| I ran after work again today and I ran the Payson Park loop but I cut out the rollers, my legs were in a strange funk the first 3 miles and then felt better the last 3 so that was a good thing. My average pace was 8:40 with a total time of 54:09 so about 3 minutes slower than yesterday do to the slow first 3 miles, but that okay because I wanted to go slower today anyway so it worked out all right. I'm glad I got out today and the rain had stopped so it turned out to be pretty darn nice!

| I went out mid morning and I ran out past Mini Gu via canal road and what a beautiful morning it was, I felt pretty good considering I walked 18 holes of golf yesterday at Hobble Creek golf course. I carried my clubs the whole way so it was a pretty good work out, I used my watch one to track the mil.eage and its just over 5 miles. My average pace was pretty steady at 8:23 with a total time of 1:00:35, I still have some tenderness below the navel when I run but it's tolerable, I really don't know what is going on there I have been fighting it for about 5 months now. I hope it gets feeling better soon., it was a great run today and I am glad that I was able to get out.

| I'm down in Queens Creek Arizona for the next few days with the family and it is just beautiful! Close to 80, it was 50 this morning when I went out and ran which is just perfect. I felt okay but not great, I haven't ran all week so I cant expect to much... My average pace was 8:30 with a total time of 51:24, I had one mile around 8:00 pace so I counted it as a MP mile. I'm trying to find my mojo again but I just don't know if I can or not, if I can't find it soon I might not run anymore races this year.

| This was probably my last run here in Arizona, we have to travel home tomorrow Because we will be up pretty early to get on the road, but we will see how it goes. I didn't feel as good today as yesterday, legs were a little tired and they had no get up and go but it was still a good run, it was way hotter today and its suppose to get up into the mid 90's today so it should be a warm one. | I was up at 7:30am and then I was out the door, the plan was to run 7 miles and just put the time in. I ran out past Mini GU and then up Power house road for a half mile and then turned for home. I ran into my Brother Curtis and we chatted for a minute. I felt okay at times and then not so great at times but it was a good run none the less and I was glad to get out. My average pace was 8:26 with a total time of 1:00:50, I had one sub 8 minute mile in the middle of the run so I am counting that as a MP mile. I have decided to try and formulate a plan that will get me motivated again, I have been lacking in that category for a while now and I need to get my butt going again. I just don't know what that is yet, maybe a race or something like that.

| I ran the Payson Park loop today after work, I got out at 6pm and it was perfect weather for a run. I felt okay but tmile 6 was a pain and then I realized that I had had nothinbg to eat most of the day so I'm sure I was running on empty... My average pace was 8:22 with a total time of 59:58, aberage HR rate was 153, pretty good time for this route as I am normally over 60 minutes or so. I need to remember to eat during the day so I am not so drained if I run in the afternoon that is. I had one mile just sub 8 minute so I counted that as MP

| Morning run today and I have forgot how nice it is to run in the morning and it was great to get out. I ran out to Mini GU Corner via canal road, my legs felt heavy and non-responsive but as the run went on they seemed to loosen up a bit, average pace was 8:34 with a total time of 52:08. After the run I did my upper body strength training and then finished up with some push-ups, I just did a lite workout 1 set of each exercise, it was a good way to start the day.

| Another morning run and I ran the Payson Park Loop and extended down to the Park, I felt pretty good from the start but then with about 1 and half to go I kinda seemed to get fatigued, but it was still a good run and I was glad that I got out. My average pace was 8:25 with a total time of 1:00:24, after the run I did my upper body weight training I just kept it lite with one set of each exercise, I finished up with some push-ups. Good run and what perfect weather this morning.

| I got home from work around 5:30 and I decided to go and get a run in so I ran the mail box route which is to run to the woodland hills mailboxes via Mount Loafer school and then back to the house. I extended down Woodland Hills drive to tack on another .20 and then I headed back home the same way I went out, lots of uphill and downhill, it pretty much killed me on the uphill my lungs just couldn't keep up with my legs. My average pace was 8:35 with a total time of 52:49, on the downhill I had a MP mile at 7:49... I finished up with some lite upper body weight training and some push-ups. it was a good workout and I'm glad I was able to get her done.

I felt a little off at the start but then better after I got loosened up but towards the end my legs were pretty trashed because of last nights hard workout, but pace was steady at 8:30 average with a total time of 1:01:30. I've had a pretty good week of training and I feel like I'm finding my groove again.

| I waited for the rain to clear a bit and then I headed out to GU via Mini GU and then back to the house, weather was pretty good until the last couple of miles it started to rain again but it was tolerable. The last 3 miles I did some half mile pickups, nothing really hard just ran at a pace that made me uncomfortable, took the first half of each one of those miles real easy. Average pace was 8:25 with a total time of 1:08:14, I felt good at times today and then not so good at times but I'm sure that is because of the increase in miles this week and finally having some consistency.
It was a great week for me.

| Morning run today and I ran the Payson Park Loop and extended down to the Park, my pace was a struggle at times but It felt good to be out and it was a beautiful morning. My average pace was 8:40 and my total time was 1:02:17, after the run I finished up with some lite upper body weight training and then some push-ups. I have made a commitment to start doing my Morning runs and make that my first priority of my day, no more excuses just get her done!

I don't know what happened other than I feel like I ran the tiredness out of them and they started to cooperate a little bit, My average pace was 8:34 with a total time of 1:26:41, I had two 8 minute miles towards the end so I am counting those as MP. I like a run where I feel stronger at the end at that seemed to happen today, I am glad that I got out because I almost stayed in bed.

| I started my run out towards Payson but after about 2 miles I realized that I was having stomach issues so I turned for home and just barly made it, after taking care of business I headed out past the Stake Center and to the T in the road and then back to the house to finish up. I felt better in the second half of the run than I did in the first half, but that seems to be the trend as of late. My average pace for the run was 8:33 with a total time of 1:01:16, after the run I finished up with some lite upper body weight training and then some push-ups, I also did some sit-ups on the big blue rubberball. It has been a good start to the week.

| So I have been trying everything I can to loosen up these legs but nothing seems to help... I have rolled them, I have tried the elliptical and messaging them as well to no avail. I am wondering if there are other issues in play here or I'm I really as old as I feel, I can't believe that this all from planting a bunch of damn flowers.. It happens to me every year but usually by now I am feel good and back to running, so i don't know what to think! I planted 1,331 flowers which is about what I did last year, so it is hard to beleive that it would be any different.. I will try running tomorrow and see how it goes but if they don't loosen up then I will be done until Monday, it's been a tough week and 'Im a little ticked because I started it off so good!

| My legs finally felt like running this morning, so I ran the Payson Park Loop and extended down to the Park. My pace was steady but by the end of the run I was feeling a little tired, but it was a great run and I'm so happy that my legs are feeling better. My average pace was 8:29 with a total time of 1:00:50, after the run I did my upper body weight training, I just kept it lite with one set of each exercise, finished up with some push-ups. I was able to talk to Abby over Skype yesterday, it was so good to see her. She is an awesome missionary and is doing a great job, I am so, so proud of her.

| I took the day off today so I did a mid morning run and I ran over to the base of Harry's Hill then I ran up that beast, over to woodland hills Drive then down to Canal road and then back home. Its a good mix of uphill and downhill and I felt pretty good going up harry's hill in my legs but the lungs would not cooperate... The downhill felt pretty good but I could feel it pretty bad towards the end of that section, but all in all it was a good run and I'm glad I got her done for the day. It was starting to get hot by the time I was done so its going to be morning runs for most of the time now. Average pace was 8:23 with a total time of 53:33

My pace I had to recalculate a little as I stopped at the Stake Center and I forgot to stop it, so I think I'm pretty close. My average pace was 8:36 with a total time of 1:27:00, I felt pretty bad through the first half of the run but then I started to loosen up and the second half was a lot better... I had a VPB at about mile 6 so that was real special, luckly I was prepared. I have had a great week of training, at least for me anyway, and I hope it is a spring board to better things to come.

I still have the pinched nerve down my left leg and it really bothers my lower leg area, its not real fun. It takes a few miles to get it to go away as far as the pain and then its not to bad, or should I say its tolerable. Sometimes I wonder if I can really keep running, it always seems to be something that holds me back... I hope this doesn't keep me from training and missing SG again, if does I might be done for good. I finished up with some lite upper body weight training and then some push-ups. My average pace was slow at 8:57 with a total time of 55:42.

The last few miles were pretty tough and basically just jogged them in, I'm not sure what happened but my legs were so dead. Tough run and day and I wonder sometimes on a run like this if it really does me any good... Maybe it toughened me up mentally, who knows, but a run is a run and I will count this as in the bag, so to speak.

| I ran out towards Mini GU and I ran into Chad and Tom and Dan, so I ran with them up and around the pretty little hill loop and then back to GU Corner down to the base of Heart Break Hill, dropped them off there and then ran back to the house to finish up. I felt okay after my leg loosened up, but by the end of the run I was really starting to feel it, my average pace 8:35 with a total time of 1:37:31. I'm happy with the last few weeks of training and I hope this leg pain doesn't cause me to much trouble.

| So I took last week off to try and get some of these nagging injuries to try and heal up, mainly my back and then my lower left leg, things seemed to be a lot better today so that was a good sign but I will see how the rest of the week goes. I ran the Old Blue Mailbox route today and I also extended out towards the Stake center, talked to Pat Loss for a bit and then back home. Mid run I forgot to turn my watch on and then I thought it was on but I actually shut it off so my time and distance were all screwed up. best that I could figure was my distance was 6.15 with a total time of 51:33, average pace was 8:25. I had a few 8 minute miles in the middle so I counted those as MP.

We will do this run most every Tuesday until the SGM, its a good downhill stretch, as we get further in to the training cycle we will head further up the canyon.

My average pace was 8:28 with a total time of 52:45, I'm a little concerned with my calves they were a little knotted today towards the end of the run so I hope it was just from the downhill training last week, I guess we will see tomorrow when I run Payson canyon again.

| Payson canyon run with the boys, started a little higher up this time but i stopped at Beer Can flats as I did not want to over do it. Quads felt better today but my calves are still feeling a little Knotty and I don't know why, hopefully they don't get to bad and I'll be able to run tomorrow. My average pace was 8:11 with a total time of 1:02:38, tried to take it as easy as possible. It was a good run and a good start to the day.

| I had to run after work today as I had to ride out to Roosevelt to see a client so I was up pretty early so i could get out there to see him. My back is really bad, after running Payson canyon yesterday I laid down on the couch for a little bit and some how wrenched it out pretty good... Riding in my truck today didn't help so I tired to take it pretty easy just to see if running would loosen it up. It took about 2 miles or so and then it felt like it was improving so hopefully tomorrow it will be feeling better. My average pace was 8:32 with a total time of 44:14, I ran out past the Stake Center and towards Mini GU, I was not use to heat and I had to stop along the way because I wasn't use to the hotter temperature. I don't know how My brother Curtis does it running in the afternoon, he truly is a tough dude.

| I was out the door this morning by 6am and I ran out past Gu corner and down into the river bottoms and then back to the house, then out past the old barn on canal road and then back to the stake center and then back to the house. I felt pretty good for the most part and my back was finally loosening up so it was bad at all, my average pace was 8:25 with a total time of 1:51:24. It felt pretty comfortable and my last 3 miles were in the sub 8:15 range so a pretty good up beat run. It was a good end to the week.

| I ran out past the old barn on Canal road and then towards Payson and then back to thew house, I then ran down to the high school track to help my wife with her Cheer team, she wants me to run with them to get them into shape. I ran with them for just about a mile and then I ran home which was another mile, when I arrived at the school I forgot to turn off my darn watch so it screwed up my pace time and total time so I am having to estimate. On the way down to the school its all down hill and I had 7:46 mile so I'm counting that as MP mile. It was a good start to the week, I finished up with my upper body weight training and then some push-ups. Average pace was 8:18 with a total time of 58:09, I ran about 3/4 of a mile with the girls but I didn't start my watch for that but I'm counting it in my total miles, pace was about a 8:30 for that .75.

| I ran down to the high school to find a course that I could run with the girls, after measuring that out I ran 6x100 repeats on the track as fast as I could go and then on the last one I did a 400 as fast as I could go. After that I ran a 400 cool down and then waited for the girls to show up. I ran with them for a mile and then ran home for a total of 6.80, my average pace was 8:29 with 1.3 of MP miles in the middle (7:54) total time of 57:24... After the run I did some stretching and then some upper body weight training and then I finished up with some push-ups. I'm really proud of the Cheer girls they are working hard and doing really good.

| Nice Morning run out past GU Corner and down into the river bottoms, I ran a mile loop down in there and then headed back to the house, after getting back I ran out past the old barn on canal road to finish up. I felt pretty good for the most part, my last 2 miles were at MP which was 8:00, 7:48, my average pace was 8:22 with a total time of 2:00:00 straight up. I am still having some pain in my lower left leg but as I get loosened up it seems to be fine, its a little sore now but not to bad. This was a good end to the week.

I felt okay this morning and I am proud of the girls they are running really well. I finished the Art City Am this weekend and I played pretty good for me, with the limited playing time and not a lot of practice I shot 75,78,75 and I won some money to boot so it was a pretty good weekend, now its time to buckle down and get on with the SGM training.

| I was suppose to run Payson Canyon with the guys but slepted in again. No run today, but I did take the day off from work and I went to strawberry to fish... I caught 4 really nice ones in about 3 hours so it was a pretty good day.

| I ran out to Mini GU and then back to the house via canal road, my lower left leg was really painful for most of the way, it did feel better towards the end but that is not a good sign. I'll see how it goes tomorrow. I am not really happy, if i am out again I might be done with running period! I'll try and stay positive and take it a day at a time, my average pace was way slower than normal at 8:52 with a total time of 1:02:41.

| Well, my run started out kind of bad, my lower left leg was hurting pretty bad and I didn't think I was going to comtinue but then after about 2.5 miles it started to feel better and I was able to get a pretty good run in... I started a little later than normal so I wasn't able to get the 15 miles in but considering how things started I feel like 12 miles was just right, my average pace was 8:35 with a total time of 1:44:02. I plan on having my Brother- in-law work on it again this afternoon so I hope I can stay a haed of it and get things feeling better. Who Knows.

| I ran out to the old barn on canal road and then I turned and headed back to the house, I was having stomach issues which hindered me pretty good back to the house. After taking care of business I headed down to the High School to meet the girls and help them with their 1.25 mile run, my legs was about like Saturday, it felt tolerable after about 2 miles or so. I ran with the girls and they did great and then I ran back to the house, my pace was slower than normal but I just felt tired but that's okay I was able to at least get a run done. After the run I did my upper body weight training and then finished up with push-ups. I just have to hope that this leg issue doesn't get any worse and i can continue to train, if not then I will be really pissed off.!

| I ran Payson Canyon with the Guys and Kim, I was worried about my leg and how it would handle it but it did pretty good, there was some discomfort but nothing to bad... I pushed the pace pretty good, the first few miles were easy and then the next 5.86 were pretty fast, at least for me, 7:48, 7:43, 7:39, 7:38, 7:36, last .86 7:32. It was a pretty good tempo run but we weren't going all out just a nice steady run and I was surprised that my legs did as well as they did, this is only my 3rd time running it so that was good. Average pace was 7:48 with a total time of 1:01:23, it was a good workout.

| I ran down to the school and ran with the Cheer girls and then ran back to the house, my legs were pretty wiped out from yesterday and it was slow go for the most part but I got her done. My lower left leg is still hurting about a 5 out of 10 but as I got going it was tolerable, my brother-in-law, the PT, worked it over pretty good last night so I'm sure that was the reason for it being sorer than normal. My average pace was way slow at 9:18, which included some uphill, and my total time was 47:31. After the run I did my upper body weight training and then I finished up with some push-ups.

| I did the elliptical today for 30 minutes and then one mile on the treadmill, I'm just trying to work out the stiffness in my legs fron the downhill run on Tuesday. While running on the treadmill my lower leg was pretty darn painful so thats not a good thing, it did feel okay on the elliptical but that's not going to do me any good training for a marathon... If the old leg doesn't get on the mend soon then I will most likely bail, I'll see how it goes tomorrow when I run and then go from there.

| I ran for a mile and then I ran down to the high school to meet the girls, I ran a mile and a half with them and tried to run with the faster girls and ended up with a sub 8 minute mile (7:55), and then after running with them I ran home. My leg felt a whole lot better than it did on saturday and I have decided that if I have to miss any runs because of the pain I will miss some of my week day runs, I need to make sure I am able to get in my long runs on saturday. My average pace was 8:24 with a total time of 54:27, after the run I did my upper body weight training and then finsihed up with some push-ups. I am really proud of the girls they are up to to 1.5 miles and they are really feeling good about it, our goal is to get them to 3 miles by the time school starts and we are right on schedule.

| I opted out of Payson Canyon run this morning and ran up Loafer canyon instead, 3 miles up and 3 miles down, my pace was pretty slow going up and then I took it pretty easy on the way down. My lower leg pain was about a 5 out of 10 so not real great, average p[ace was 9:15 with a total time of 56:40. This route is really steep on the way up so pace is way slow and then steep coming back down but i took it really slow on the way down as my leg was a little uncomfortable.

| Warmed with a mile around my house and then I ran down to the high school to time the girls in their mile, They all did very well, most of them had PR's and so I think they are on the right track and they seem to me excited about running which is the main goal... I did a timed mile with them and mine was 7:25, we will time them again in a few weeks so my goal is to get that to a sub 7 mile. After the time trail I ran home and then after getting back to the house I ran out to the stake center to get a little more in. My average pace was 8:38 with a total time of 54:45, I finished up with some lite upper body weight training and then some push-ups. my leg was about a 4 on the pain scale so tolerable but it took a few miles to get it loosened up. It felt good on the mile that I ran with the girls probably cuz the track is softer.

| I ran out past the Stake Center and then towards Mini GU, ran into Chad and Dan and they convinced me to run up over Harry's Hill with them... That was not a wise decision as my legs were pretty much toast from the get go this Morning, I walked 18 Holes of golf at Hobble Creek Yesterday and carried my clubs, that was not a good choice either for that is the reason for the dead legs that I had today. It was a death march for most of the run, my leg was about a 4 to 5 on the pain level but tolerable. My average pace was way slow at 9:05 with a total time of 2:01:42, I feel so rotten right now I feel like I could sleep for a thousand years I'm so beat.

| I decided to go and try out the legs and see where its at after a week off, so I was up at 5:30 and then out the door around 6:00. The goal was to try for 10 miles and then see from there, I ran out past Mini GU and then up to GU corner and then back to the house, I was feeling okay so I went out to the old barn on Canal road to add a few more. My legs were feeling pretty dead so is topped and got a drink and ate some cantaloupe and then went out foe a few more out past the stake center... My leg was okay and it was not hurting much at all, I mean I can still feel it but it was pretty good... Time will tell on Monday when I try to run again or later today, that will tell me where I'm at and then I can go from there. My average pace was slower than normal at 8:46 with a total time of 1:46:02, I had an 8 Minute mile in the middle so I am counting that as MP. I'm glad that I was able to run and I hope like crazy that I will be able to continue with my training.

| I ran out to Mini Gu via canal road and then back to the house, my leg felt pretty good for the most part, although I haven't ran in a few days but that is progress. I had to take a VPB about half way through and I forgot to stop my watch, I hate that, so I just reset my watch from that point. Mile 3 was a MP mile at I did that in 7:30, my average pace for the run was 8:24 with a total time of 1:01:53, I sure hope my leg is breaking through and is finally on the mend. I guess I'm running the speedy Spaniard 10K on Thursday, I'm not sure how fast I will be able to run it but I am going to use it as a speed workout and just do my best.

| My leg was not good today, I tried to run but I turned back after a few hundred yards. I might be done for awhile, really disappointed and not sure what to think of things... I'll give it another week and then see where I'm at. Kinda worried with my leg and then the breathing problems that I have been dealing with as of late, not sure what I should do at this point. The SG Marathon is probably in jeopardy at this point so pretty pissed about that, I'll have to see what the next week brings and then go from there. | It was a very difficult run today... My leg was really bothering me on the way down to run the girls, but then after a few miles it was tolerable and I ran just over 2 miles with them, and they did really well. I then ran home and it was feeling pretty good, not as good as yesterday but tolerable. So, I really don't know where to go from here, I can't really train like I would like for SG so I don't know if I should just bite the bullet and cancel out or try and see if I can continue to train and then just get through it. I probably need to go and have it checked for a stress fracture, because if it is one and I keep running on it then studies have shown that you can actually break it... I don't know what to do. Any advice out there? My average pace was way slow at 9:03 with a total time of 52:07.

| Well, it looks as if I am done with running for a bit... I have a stress fracture in my lower tibia so that they say is that. Pretty bummed and really having a hard time accepting it but theres not much else I can do. I did get the results back from the blood work and I was way low on my Vitamin D and B which can explain the Stress fracture with low Vitamin D, I'm taking steps to correct both of those. I don't know where to go from here... Not sure if I am going to continue to try and Boston Qualify or not and maybe just run Half's at this point. probably not a good time to really think about it because I'm pretty pissed off and I don't want to make any bad decisions based on my bad attitude. I can start the elliptical in about a week but not sure if I really want to at this point, but either way there will be No running for 6 weeks, period! I probably won't be blogging much because theres nothing really to blog about!

| Its been about a month since I have ran and I was given the okay to try a run this week, so after work I headed out past the Stake center and then back to the house. My leg felt good, no pain in the area that has been giving me problems, so that's a good sign. After the run I did 20 minutes on the elliptical and everything felt fine there too, I don't know if I will run tomorrow or not, I will have to continue to go slow and take it easy. Average pace for the run was tolerable at 8:36 with a total time of 29:44. it was so good to get out today. I have been going crazy!

| Morning run today and I ran out to the base of Harry's Hill and then back to the house, I felt pretty good this morning too, I took yesterday off as not to over do it. My average pace was 8:40 with a total time of 39:58, I finished up with 15 minutes on the elliptical, it was a nice workout and I'm glad I was able to do it.

| Went out and ran 4 miles after Ethan's cross country meet. I ran out past the stake Center and then back to the house, my leg is starting hurt again so I'm a little disappointed in that... | I ran out past the stake center again this morning, my leg felt pretty good so that was a pleasant surprise. My average pace was at 8:53 with a total time of 36:36, after the run I jumped on the Elliptical for 20 minutes at a moderate pace, felt pretty good. I'm out of shape no doubt because I'm pretty beat after just running 4 miles but hopefully it will come back quick, I'm glad that I got out of SGM its sad for sure but I really had no other choice.

| Morning run out past the old barn and out towards Payson, felt okay. Leg wasn't much of a bother but not 100 percent either, my average pace was 8:52 with a total time of 36:04. After the run I jumped on the elliptical for 20 minutes at a moderate pace with resistance up to 10 at 2 minutes 30 second intervals. I'm glad that I was bale to get some running in today, it always feels good. I'm pretty tired after 4 miles so that's about all I can run at this point, that's a little discouraging at times but I must have lost a lot of fitness but I know it will come back if I can stay consistent.

| I ran out past the stake center via canal road and then came back to the house the same way, it was not a good run. My legs were so dead and my pace was way slow, but I was still able to out and that's all I'm hoping for anymore. I think my legs were pretty tired because of the harder workout on the elliptical and then I did a couple of sets of leg raises. I can't believe how out of shape I have gotten just over the last month... Oh well, I just have to hope that the fitness will come back. My average pace was way slow at 9:30 and my total time was 38:43, no elliptical today.

| I finally felt like I could run again so i ran out past the Stake Center and then out past the T in the road and then back to the house, leg felt pretty good but I'll have to see how it feels tomorrow. On mile 3 I picked up the pace a little and I was able to do an 8:08 mile, still slow but I know that a runner is still in there some where, so that gives me hope for the future if I can get healthy and consistent.... My average pace was 8:41 with a total time of 35:24, I finished up with some upper body weight training and then some push-ups.

I didn't take any Ibuprofen this morning because I wanted to see where the pain level is without it, my leg felt pretty good, not a 100% but tolerable. The bad news is my legs were so dead this morning by mile 4 I had slowed down to a crawl and it was a major death march, I know that this is because I'm out of shape and it will just take time but man I was really hurting. I feel like I had ran a marathon and this was my first run back after the race, it was brutal. But it was good to get a run in and I am glad that I was able to go at all, I probably would have been better served to just run a couple of miles rather than the total 4 miles... Oh well...

| I ran out past the stake center this morning, my leg felt pretty darn good and my legs kinda woke up a little bit, not way woke up but a lot better than the last few times I've run. Miles 2 and 3 were more like my old training pace, 8:20, 8:16 and it seemed pretty fluid but then the last mile I pulled back a little because I didn't want to over do it. I would like to run 6 to 8 miles tomorrow but that will all depend on how I'm feeling and it will have to be a much slower pace than today. After the run I finished up with some light upper body weight training and then some push-ups. My average pace was 8:40 with a total time of 35:22, I hope I am finally turning the corner on this injury and I hope I can stay consistent and get back to where I was before this crap all started.

| So my goal this morning was to run at least out to Mini GU corner, I have ran this route many a time with ease but today was pretty rough... I am glad that I was able to run it, but I have really lost some fitness. I ran into Pat Loss and I guess his running days are over, his hip has no cartilage left so he told me the doctor said no more impact... So said and he is a great runner and I wish him the best. My average pace was slow at 9:13 with a total time of 55:52. It sucks to get old. |

| Well, first run of the week and everything felt pretty good... My leg was not much of an issue but my dead legs were, they just have no zip to them at all so I must have lost a lot more fitness than I thought. My pace was real slow at 9:10 with a total time of 38:00, I did some one legged leg squats, two sets of 15 on each leg. I have decided to run try and train for the St. George half marathon in January, I am hoping that this well give me some motivation to start and try and be more consistent and help me to get out the door.

I think the main problem with me right now is I'm just not loose like I'm use to and it will take some time to get that back. I need to to stay consistent and get to where I'm running 5 days a week, even if its only 4 or 5 miles a day, just stay with it and hopefully it will start to come back. Average pace was 8:57 with a total time of 36:24, I finished up with some light stretching.

| My goal this morning was to run out to GU corner and then back to the house which would give me just over 8 miles, I felt okay and I was glad that I was able to handle the mileage. I felt pretty good in my legs just tired and slow but thats okay I know it will come back eventually. My average pace was slow as mentioned at 9:08 with a total time 1:13:38, Like I said pretty slow but today wasn't about speed it was about covering the distance and not having it kill me which I was able to do. My goal for next week is to get some kind of run in everyday and see how everything goes, hopefully I can do that. I really am having a hard time with not being able to run the SGM, I didn't think it would really bother me to much as it has happened before but this one is kind of stinging... Maybe next year.

I felt like I could have ran further today too but I am going to hold off and ease my mileage up, it feels like I am on the right track.

My left leg was hurting again to so i don't know what the Hell happened, everything felt fine yesterday. I guess I will see how I feel tomorrow and then go from there, I really don't know what is going on with my body, I just feel all out of whack. My average pace was way, way, slow at 9:25 with a total time of 38:21, after the run I did some light upper body weight training and then some push-ups.

| I ran out past the stake center and towards mini GU, stopped about a half mile short and then headed back the same way. I felt a lot better today than yesterday and that was all right with me, I had some 8:30 miles in the middle of the run so that was a nice change. I was feeling pretty good so I went 1 more mile than normal, I was a little tired on the last mile but not to bad. Average pace was 8:51 with a total time of 45:12, did a little core workout to finish up. It was a good morning to be out and I am so thankful that I was able to run this morning.

I wasn't real fast this morning as it seems every other run that I do is a little more difficult than the run before but I seem to be coming a long. My average pace was 9:01 with a total time of 36:52, after the run I did some upper body weight training and then I finished up with some push-ups. It was another good run day and I am glad that I was able to get in another run, I don't know about tomorrow... Ethan Has a soccer game in Lehi at 8:00 so I will have to get up early if I want to get a run in, maybe I will have to do it after his game. Ethan has a cross country meet today and he is like 10 seconds out of running varsity every race so its a little frustrating for him but I am just glad that he is running. He has PR'd in every race this year but the guys that he was beating last year have all passed him by this year for some darn reason, oh well, as long as he is still enjoying it.

| I ran after work today and I was able to get out just after the rain storm and it was so beautiful, I ran out past the old barn and towards Payson just along canal road. I felt okay but I am weighing 20 ponds heavier than I ever have in my life, I've always been a 160 guy for the most part but now I am tipping the scales at 180... I felt fat and slow today and I really need to make some changes in my diet, I don't know if I can do it but I started with a salad for dinner so I guess that's a move in the right direction. I need to cut my sugar intake and that is going to be tough for me no doubt, I'll just have to start slowly and do my best. My average pace was 8:51 with a total time of 36:17, I finished up with some lite upper body weight training and then some push-ups, it was a good way to end the day.

| So early yesterday morning I had to head up to Tremonton to see a client and I was walking out in one of his fields and there were a lot of high weeds and I didn't realize I was walking along a ditch bank , to make a long story short my right leg found the 4 foot deep ditch and my left leg stayed were it was at... Pretty sore knee but it felt okay out running this evening so that's good, If it wasn't for bad luck I'd have no luck at all, HAHAHA. So I didn't run yesterday just out of pre-caution, I ran out past the stake center and towards Mini GU and then back to the house, I felt pretty good I just feel fat and out of shape. Average pace was 8:53 with a total time of 38:10, I finished up with some core work.

| I went to Ethan Soccer game in Payson and then After the game I ran home, its just over 4 miles or so and it felt pretty cool running in the dark, I came home via canal road. Pace wass pretty good at the start and then I slowed a little towards the end but all in all I felt pretty darn good. My average pace was 8:39 with a total time of 37:35, it was a beautiful night and I'm glad I decided to run, it was a great way to end the day.

My pace on those quarter mile pick ups were in the 7:20 range, my average pace 8:40 with a total time of 52:36, I was a little tired towards the end of the run but it was nice to try and wake my legs up a little.

| I ran out towards Payson and extended up the hill into Payson all via canal road, I didn't feel real great but I was able to keep my average pace under 9 minutes but it was a chore... My average pace was 8:57 with a total time of 46:14, I did some upper body weight training and then finished up with some push-ups I also worked on my a core a little bit. Well, Ethan is finished with XC. He ran Varsity at region and ran a 17:10 but he got bumped out of the top 7 on the team for state so he is done racing for this year. he will continue to run with the team then go to California and run a race with the team and then he will start getting ready for soccer in the spring. He had another tough year in XC just can't seem to break through and get under 17 minutes, oh well I guess he'll have to try for next year. I sure am proud of him for his hard work and dedication, good job.

| I was finally able to get in another run this week, I have been pretty darn lazy and disappointed in myself but I was able to get out this morning and what a nice morning it was! I ran out to Mini GU Corner via canal road and after I got warmed up I tried to finish the end of each mile fast and I seemed to do pretty good. I didn't feel real great at times but I was able to get it done, I just don't feel loose at all very tight and uncomfortable every where. My average pace was pretty respectable, at least for me, at 8:34 with a total time of 52:07... Me and my wife are heading to Hawaii tomorrow for our 10 year anniversary and I will run while I'm there.

I ran in Hawaii a couple days but then I feel into the Island laziness:) I ran out to Mini Gu and then back to the house, I felt okay but still really tired from not sleeping for 35 hours on the trip home. We didn't fly out until 9:40 pm Sunday and then I didn't sleep at all through the flight and then I was toast yesterday, still feel like I'm in a fog, it was a great trip no doubt. Average pace was 8:47 with a total time of 53:30, I'm really going to try and get back at it, no more excuses.

| First morning run in tights, and it was the roughest run of my life and that's saying a lot! I don't know if it was the new tights that just wore my legs out or what but it was pretty much a death march the whole darn way! I ran out to mini Gu corner via canal road and usual I run this route in about 53 minutes or less, today it took me over 60 minutes to complete the run.... It took everything I had just to finish, these new tights that I bought were really tight on me and I don't know if they just wore my legs out because they are so tight, I have a different pair that are older and I will try them in the morning and see if that makes a difference. Maybe I am just extremely out of shape, I have never run this slow in all my running years, the last 10 years I have had some tough runs but even then I can usually do a nine minute mile or less. I really Don't' know what to think but I will keep at and see how things go.

| I ran out to Mini GU this morning via canal road, I felt a little better this morning and my time was a lot better than the last time I ran last week. My average pace was 8:38 with a total time of 52:24, I can handle that no problem, I just need to stay consistent these next few weeks and hopefully I can get back on track.

| I ran after work today and I ran out towards Payson on my 5 mile plus route, I felt okay and it was good to get out. I started at a little before 5pm and the sun was just going down, it made for a beautiful run. My pace wasn't real great but who cares I had a good time out there tonight, My average pace was right at 9:00 with a total time of 46:38. After the run I jumped on the elliptical for 20 minutes, I didn't push the pace at all on the elliptical just used it as a nice cool down. After that I did my upper body weight training just a lite workout nothing fancy and then ended with some push-ups. It was a great work out and a great way to end the day.

| I ran out towards Mini GU after work but I just decided to go 5 miles as my legs were pretty beat from yesterday, legs were really tired and I didn't want to over do it and believe me I didn't. HAHA. My average pace was slow 9:22 and then my total time was 47:36, it was a nice evening and I'm glad that I was able to get out even though my legs were dead.

| I ran after work today and I was able to get out just before 5 pm and I ran the Payson Park loop but ran the shorten version. I felt okay at times but towards the end of the run my legs were getting pretty tired, but that's okay I am still glad that I was able to get out. My average pace was 8:58 with a total time of 55:55, finished with some real lite stretching.

| I ran out past Mini GU corner via canal road, my legs were super tired on the way out but then I decided on the way back that I was going to take charge and try and beat the 9 minute guy. I averaged a 9:25 on the way out, not good I know... I tried to run the first part of each miles faster and then take a break in the middle and then finish strong the last of each mile, those went like this 8:43, 8:19, 8:32... I was happy that I didn't give in and just phone it in so to speak, my average pace 8:59 with a total time of 54:24, I wish those miles were in 7's instead of where they were at but I'm a work in progress and I need to just stay consistent and not give up. I feel good about this week. I would like to start getting 5 days in each week and I know I will get there, Just keep mobbin!

| I finally have been able to get a run in this week! Work has been a little crazy but the rest of the week I am off so I should be able to run everyday... I ran the Payson Park Loop but I cut out the rollers, this was the best run I have had in 6 months! Everything just flowed and I didn't feel like I was working real hard at times, on the 4th mile I had an 8 minute mile which I was amazed to see because I wasn't even trying to do that... Every mile was sub 8:30 which I haven't been able to do for a long while. I hope I am turning a corner so I can feel good about running again. I know there will be bumps in the road, there always is, but I want to start enjoying the journey again and I think this was a start in the right direction. My average pace was 8:24 with a total time of 52:24, its a great start to the week and for the day.

| HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!!! I ran out to Mini GU corner via canal road, I felt pretty good going out but then on the way back I started to have some stomach issues and I slowed down for the next couple of miles... I couldn't make it home so I found a secluded spot and took care of business, after that my legs felt better and I felt much better overall and the last mile was 8:22, so a good recovery. My average pace was 8:48 with a total time of 53:29, stretching afterward. My legs felt pretty good for the most part other than the little time that I was fighting my stomach, I'm getting excited about running again, I just want to stay healthy.

| I thought things were getting better in my legs but when I got up yesterday and they were really tired and sore again, so I didn't run, they felt better today so I went out and after about mile or so i knew it was going to be bad... The last 2 miles I was averaging over a 10 minute mile and I almost walked the last mile but my heart wouldn't let me, I could not give up... I really thought I was getting past this but I guess I was wrong, my average pace was 9:39 with a total time of 58:36... I really don't know what to do, I will see how I feel Monday and then go from there. Maybe I will try and make sure I get enough water throughout the day, maybe its a hydration issue...

| I got home late from work and didn't feel like running in the dark so I hit the elliptical fopr 30 minutes and then did 1.25 miles on the treadmill. On the mill I did 3X200 pick-ups with a 200 recovery in between each one, 8:00, 7:48, 7:32 and then I cooled down for a .25 at a 10 minute pace. I'm glad I was able to atleast get something in, light upper body workout and push-ups to finish up.

| I ran out to Gu Corner this morning, ran into my brother and we ran together most the way out and it was good to run with him again, its always nice to catch up and he kept me from going out to fast so my legs were happy about that. My average pace was 8:55 with a total time of 1:12:59, it was a good end to the week. I've had a pretty steady week and I'm pretty happy with the way felt today.

After getting back to the house I tacked on another mile and that was the quickest at 8:00 flat. My average pace was 8:33 with a total time of 1:00:15, it was a great run and a great way to end the week. I had a great week this week and I hope I can keep it going through the winter.

My motion was very fluid and smooth and my legs had some zip in them for a change, it has been a long road back but today felt like I did in 2008. I don't know what tomorrow brings but I know I'm on the right track and its giving me my Mojo back. My average pace was 8:25 with a total time of 52:23 I had 2 miles in the MP range, 8:08, 8:10, I wasn't even trying to run that fast and I reeled in my legs a little after that. It was a good morning and a great way to start the day.

| I woke up in the middle of the night and I could feel I was coming down with a cold, woke up at 7 and wasn't feeling to bad. The farther I got into my run the worse I felt. My pace fell to like a 9:30 pace and I was just holding on. I guess I haven't been sick for awhile so it finally got me. Average pace and was 9:28 with a total time of 59:02.

I've decided to take the rest of the week off as I'm still not feeling real great and with me not being in any races at all this winter or spring I feel like it's best to just stay smart. I don't like the way cold temps anyway and I'm not running on the treadmill right now, I just don't have it mentally.
