Get more consistent like I was 5 to 6 years ago. 2020 I'd like to just run more overall.

I ran out past the stake center again this morning, my leg felt pretty good so that was a pleasant surprise. My average pace was at 8:53 with a total time of 36:36, after the run I jumped on the Elliptical for 20 minutes at a moderate pace, felt pretty good. I'm out of shape no doubt because I'm pretty beat after just running 4 miles but hopefully it will come back quick, I'm glad that I got out of SGM its sad for sure but I really had no other choice.

Morning run out past the old barn and out towards Payson, felt okay. Leg wasn't much of a bother but not 100 percent either, my average pace was 8:52 with a total time of 36:04. After the run I jumped on the elliptical for 20 minutes at a moderate pace with resistance up to 10 at 2 minutes 30 second intervals. I'm glad that I was bale to get some running in today, it always feels good. I'm pretty tired after 4 miles so that's about all I can run at this point, that's a little discouraging at times but I must have lost a lot of fitness but I know it will come back if I can stay consistent.

I ran out past the stake center via canal road and then came back to the house the same way, it was not a good run. My legs were so dead and my pace was way slow, but I was still able to out and that's all I'm hoping for anymore. I think my legs were pretty tired because of the harder workout on the elliptical and then I did a couple of sets of leg raises. I can't believe how out of shape I have gotten just over the last month...  Oh well, I just have to hope that the fitness will come back. My average pace was way slow at 9:30 and my total time was 38:43, no elliptical today.

I finally felt like I could run again so i ran out past the Stake Center and then out past the T in the road and then back to the house, leg felt pretty good but I'll have to see how it feels tomorrow. On mile 3 I picked up the pace a little and I was able to do  an 8:08 mile, still slow but I know that a runner is still in there some where, so that gives me hope for the future if I can get healthy and consistent.... My average pace was 8:41 with a total time of 35:24, I finished up with some upper body weight training and then some push-ups.

I ran out past the old barn on Canal road towards Payson and then back the same way to the house. I didn't take any Ibuprofen this morning because I wanted to see where the pain level is without it, my leg felt pretty good, not a 100% but tolerable. The bad news is my legs were so dead this morning by mile 4 I had slowed down to a crawl and it was a major death march, I know that this is because I'm out of shape and it will just take time but man I was really hurting. I feel like I had ran a marathon and this was my first run back after the race, it was brutal. But it was good to get a run in and I am glad that I was able to go at all, I probably would have been better served to just run a couple of miles rather than the total 4 miles... Oh well...

I ran out past the stake center this morning, my leg felt pretty darn good and my legs kinda woke up a little bit, not way woke up but a lot better than the last few times I've run. Miles 2 and 3 were more like my old training pace, 8:20, 8:16 and it seemed pretty fluid but then the last mile I pulled back a little because I didn't want to over do it. I would like to run 6 to 8 miles tomorrow but that will all depend on how I'm feeling and it will have to be a much slower pace than today. After the run I finished up with some light upper body weight training and then some push-ups. My average pace was 8:40 with a total time of 35:22, I hope I am finally turning the corner on this injury and I hope I can stay consistent and get back to where I was before this crap all started.

So my goal this morning was to run at least out to Mini GU corner, I have ran this route many a time with ease but today was pretty rough... I am glad that I was able to run it, but I have really lost some fitness. I ran into Pat Loss and I guess his running days are over, his hip has no cartilage left so he told me the doctor said no more impact... So said and he is a great runner and I wish him the best. My average pace was slow at 9:13 with a total time of 55:52. It sucks to get old.

Well, first run of the week and everything felt pretty good... My leg was not much of an issue but my dead legs were, they just have no zip to them at all so I must have lost a lot more fitness than I thought. My pace was real slow at 9:10 with a total time of 38:00, I did some one legged leg squats, two sets of 15 on each leg. I have decided to run try and train for the St. George half marathon in January, I am hoping that this well give me some motivation to start and try and be more consistent and help me to get out the door.

I ran out past the old barn and towards Payson via canal road, I felt pretty good in the middle of the run after I was able to loosen up and I'm glad that I was able to get out. I think the main problem with me right now is I'm just not loose like I'm use to and it will take some time to get that back. I need to to stay consistent and get to where I'm running 5 days a week, even if its only 4 or 5 miles a day, just stay with it and hopefully it will start to come back. Average pace was 8:57 with a total time of 36:24, I finished up with some light stretching.

My goal this morning was to run out to GU corner and then back to the house which would give me just over 8 miles, I felt okay and I was glad that I was able to handle the mileage. I felt pretty good in my legs just tired and slow but thats okay I know it will come back eventually. My average pace was slow as mentioned at 9:08 with a total time 1:13:38, Like I said pretty slow but today wasn't about speed it was about covering the distance and not having it kill me which I was able to do. My goal for next week is to get some kind of run in everyday and see how everything goes, hopefully I can do that. I really am having a hard time with not being able to run the SGM, I didn't think it would really bother me to much as it has happened before but this one is kind of stinging... Maybe next year.

A nice little run out past the Stake Center, it was a beautiful morning and I felt pretty good for the most part. My average pace was 8:45 with a total time of 35:48, I would like to get the training pace back down to around an 8:30 mile and I think I'm getting a little more loose, I just have to stay with it. I felt like I could have ran further today too but I am going to hold off and ease my mileage up, it feels like I am on the right track.

I ran out past the old barn on canal road and out towards Payson, I did not feel good today at all. As good as I felt yesterday is as bad as I felt today, not good, pace was slow and my legs were just dead as door nails. My left leg was hurting again to so i don't know what the Hell happened, everything felt fine yesterday. I guess I will see how I feel tomorrow and then go from there, I really don't know what is going on with my body, I just feel all out of whack. My average pace was way, way, slow at 9:25 with a total time of 38:21, after the run I did some light upper body weight training and then some push-ups.

I ran out past the stake center and towards mini GU, stopped about a half mile short and then headed back the same way. I felt a lot better today than yesterday and that was all right with me, I had some 8:30 miles in the middle of the run so that was a nice change. I was feeling pretty good so I went 1 more mile than normal, I was a little tired on the last mile but not to bad. Average pace was 8:51 with a total time of 45:12, did a little core workout to finish up. It was a good morning to be out and I am so thankful that I was able to run this morning.

I ran out past the old barn on canal road and then out towards Payson and then back to the house, I felt a little tired this morning at first but then I seemed to loosen up and I felt better. I wasn't real fast this morning as it seems every other run that I do is a little more difficult than the run before but I seem to be coming a long. My average pace was 9:01 with a total time of 36:52, after the run I did some upper body weight training and then I finished up with some push-ups. It was another good run day and I am glad that I was able to get in another run, I don't know about tomorrow... Ethan Has a soccer game in Lehi at 8:00 so I will have to get up early if I want to get a run in, maybe I will have to do it after his game. Ethan has a cross country meet today and he is like 10 seconds out of running varsity every race so its a little frustrating for him but I am just glad that he is running. He has PR'd in every race this year but the guys that he was beating last year have all passed him by this year for some darn reason, oh well, as long as he is still enjoying it.

I ran after work today and I was able to get out just after the rain storm and it was so beautiful, I ran out past the old barn and towards Payson just along canal road. I felt okay but I am weighing 20 ponds heavier than I ever have in my life, I've always been a 160 guy for the most part but now I am tipping the scales at 180... I felt fat and slow today and I really need to make some changes in my diet, I don't know if I can do it but I started with a salad for dinner so I guess that's a move in the right direction.  I need to cut my sugar intake and that is going to be tough for me no doubt, I'll just have to start slowly and do my best.  My average pace was 8:51 with a total time of 36:17, I finished up with some lite upper body weight training and then some push-ups, it was a good way to end the day.

I ran out past the stake center and towards Mini GU via canal road, I felt pretty good considering I ran late last night but by the end of the run I was starting to feel it. My average pace was slower at 9:01 with a total time of 38:38, I did some one legged squats, 2 sets of each leg 15 reps. I finished up by working on my core, it was a good start to the day.
