| | I decided to do cardio first thing today. I haven't done that in awhile. 5.2 miles of on/off sprinting. This is really hard. I am hitting 5 min miles on the the sprinting, and it takes everything you have to give to do it. Biceps and triceps resistance trainingfor 45 minutes. Some core as well.

Weights -lats and core. Ran 7 dreadmill miles. Loved loved loved every second of it. I'm a strange girl I know...I find the joy in running even on the dreadmill

Mileage is a guess because I wasn't paying attention. I was flapping my yapper at Julie next to me on the stinking dreadmill. I hate the dreadmill. HATE IT. Do you understand danielson? Those were sprinting miles just so ya know. And they hurt like a motha. Weights working legs and buttocks. I left early because I am worn out.

Biceps and triceps in the weights today. I ran 5 miles on the dreadmill with a big smile on my face and a happy heart. I really do love to run. I ran a good 13 min warm up. Then I proceeded to turn up the speed to a 6:35 pace and hold it. Then some up-downs up-downs for awhile. 20 min elliptical. I decided I would like to run UVM 1/2 in June. And the lofty goal I have set for myself is to win it for the females. Even if I don't, I like to have a goal each new year. And I like a good challenge. Here's to spring training. I am so excited already.

And I am officially at 1800 miles today for 2011. Wohoooooooo! I did a celebratory dance this morning on the bough of the dreadmill. I'm a goof ,but hey, I was so excited. This next year my goal is 2200 miles or more. I know I can do it if I can keep healthy. I try to train smarter these days. I don't like to run my body into the ground anymore. :)
Ran 7.75 and worked my legs in the weights. I hate leg day because it hurts so bad. SO BAD. I did the leg press where my friend Roy moved the weight up each set. First set was easy peasy 110 lbs. Next set was 130. The set after that was 190. OWIE! The next set was 250. Yes people, I leg pressed 250 lbs and I almost died. I only did 6 but I did it and I almost started crying afterwards.
