| total time 40:38. it had rained so I had to run a path that I wasn't familiar with distance. I had on stertch between about 2.4 and 3.4 which I knew was a mile and I ran it in 9:49. I didn't sleep well being on call and I felt sluggish on the run.

| I did plyometrics for 8 minutes. I got 1 set done and I was dead. I need to do this about once a week to get stronger. I am doing the routine written about in the November 2014 Runner's World. that recommends doing 4 sets but I will take awhile to work up to 4 sets.
