total running time 49:41. ran 16 x 200. intended to do 20 but I felt really awful. I have been fighting off a sinus infection and lost the battle. I started myself on an antibiotic just after arriving at work this morning and my sinuses are already draining some gross stuff.
I should have stopped the work-out becuase of how I felt. the 200's were really slow. First one 52, then most in the 54-56 range. Although the last 4 were 59, 58, 59, 59.

total running time 50:05. out in 25:45 and back in 24:20. Did a 6 minutes fartlek. HR ave 142 max 162. Still feeling some of the effects of the sinus infection but feeling much better than a few days ago.

I will ride the exercise bike more and get my morning reading done at the same time as I exercise. I am so far behind at work that I have to find some way tog et to work earlier. 45 minutes on the exercise bike- 15.1 miles. This was in the morning.
In the evening I started my chage in how I do things. I only had a short time but I went for an out and back run in 21:35. Out in 10:51 and back in 10:44. On the way back I ran a 5 minute tempo but then shut it down to pretty slow. I am doing this mostly to get to work earlier when I am the most efficient. My goal is to limit my work day to 11 hours and have time for a short run before any church meetings in the evening. we'll see. | Add Comment |
