55:30. Felt very good. No workout because my hip flexors are still very sore and going fast isn't the best. 
I actually skipped dance class today because Thanksgiving break got me out of dancing shape; if I went today I could get injured. Also my toe is a bit sprained, but running is fine.

I am excited to do less dancing, but I know a lot of people will be disappointed in this decision. Been doing it for a little over 12 years and I am getting tired of little constant injuries. I love Irish dance, but I am addicted to running.

2 miles with Maddy in 19:30 something. 
Did 3 miles down the canyon in 18:12! 6:02, 6:06, 6:04.
I am very happy because the first mile felt like a breeze. 
I did 3 miles back up the canyon easy pace.

I really think I made the right decision on focusing on running. I just love everything about running, and I especially love Saturday workouts! Although I was tired and sluggish the whole rest of the day.

I feel horrible that I did not run, but I really didn't want to anyways. There was a way I could have gotten it done. I only had time to run in the dark though because I had to work all day and my parents would not let me go out. I guess there was a girl while running, got hit and killed by a car on Thursday. So my parents refused to to let me go at night.
I just feel like I can never manage my time. I always feel behind. Probably cause my job is different everyday.

2 in 15:20. It felt way easier than normal. Drove to the track but it still had a lot of snow.
Me and my sister made snow angels together on the track instead. I almost hit a deer on the drive there!
3 hours later did 2.5 in 18:38, with 1:18 last quarter. 1 hour later did 3.5 in 26:04. My parents let me run at 11pm. There is  a foot of snow up here and it makes it easier to see in the dark. It is so pretty with the Christmas lights!

52:56. It was snowing and it was slippery. I feel like there is so much snow this December. I had to miss seminary class 4 times in 9 days because of  it. It also demotivates me to run, I need to stop procrastinating. Once I get out the door I enjoy my run.

There was a lot of slush and I have a lot of turn arounds in my course, so I ran easy. 6 in 46:22, then 3 hours later did 2 in 15:25. My lungs felt tired from a cold, but the more I ran the better I felt.
Dance class was hard from running, but I am very happy with my decision to only focus on running.
I think it is strange that I have been only getting 6-7.5 hours of sleep but I haven't been tired, I usually need 8.5.

3 down the canyon in 18:35 with Sasha, Joseph, and Jacob. First mile was 5:56, it felt comfortable. At 1.5 I wasn't able to keep the pace from my cold. Phlegm in my lungs. 
Rest of the miles around 8:15 pace with Joseph and Jacob.

5 at noon in 40:25, then 2 at night in 14:39. Still have a little cold, my lungs feel better though. I am still struggling with procrastination. I need to just get out the door. I always enjoy running, so I don't know why I hesitate so much to just run.

8:30 mile warmup. It has been snowing so much, haven't been able to use the track in over a week. At home did 12x400 with 1:00 recovery. Went down hill first, then uphill on the next and so on.
75, 91, 85, 90, 87, 93, 87, 90, 87, 91, 86, 89. It felt good, but still have a cold. It was harder to breathe from coughing.

2 miles in 15:54 3 hours later. I had a lot of energy for dance class.

55:28. Last quarter was 79, I think the 12x400 yesterday helped me do the last quarter much faster.

4 in 30:37, an hour later did 3 in 22:29. Last quarter was 80. I struggled a lot mentally. I think it is because I had too much sugar. I need to do better at eating less sugar, especially when I get tired. And I would do well to just avoid chocolate, I think I eat too much and it probably is affecting my run.

56:02. Stopped a lot, about every mile. Lots of eventful things this evening: chatted with missionaries, watched a car hit another car on the corner of my house (it was kinda a mess), saw a guy in shorts smoking a pipe, and watched a car nearly hit a dear. The mountains were amazing and I am so grateful for Utah! Also it was so cold my mask froze.

My good feelings were ruined though. When I got home I was not happy to find my little brother and his friends stole all of my coworker's candy, left the rappers in plain sight, and my mom didn't do any sort of punishing. Too much mercy and not enough justice.

3.5 miles around 7:55 pace, then 3x1miles on ice.  6:01 down, 6:22 up, then 6:09 down. First mile felt easy, still have a little cold but it is fine. On the last mile one of the boys farted and it was really bad.
Ran 2.25 miles with the boys, we ran around 8:10 pace I think.

I worked all day, and then took a nap. 2 in 15:50.
3x1000 on the track, finally not covered in snow! 3:39, 3:39, and 3:38! Still have a cold but it is not affecting my running anymore. I really missed doing track workouts. It is funny how good I feel after pushing myself really hard. I haven't felt this good mentally since the last track workout. I can tell I chose the right sport, the more workouts I do, the more desire I have to run, and the happier I feel. 0.5 miles to YW activity, then 2.5 in 20:09 at 11:00pm.

23:42, then 3 hours later did 4 in 30:25. I was very lazy today, and spent about 3 hours just procrastinating. I think I am just a bit burnt out. Just wanted to sleep and do nothing all day. To fix this I am going to stop eating bad food, and complete my responsibilities on time to reduce stress. There are a lot of things I need to change to feel less tired.

39:24. Did a half mile uphill in 3:03 near the end. I was going to do 7 miles but did not want to go out again in the cold, and my mileage is plenty high already.

Did Saturday's workout today for Christmas. Joseph, Jacob, and Sasha paced me for a 3 mile PR. 18:09! It was the most painful workout I have ever done. Legs burned so much. I am still having too much congestion and it made it difficult to breathe steadily. I think the cold weather makes it worse.
Did around 8:10 pace for the other miles. 
Didn't feel that drained when I finished the run, but when I got to my home I was exhausted. Just walking up the stairs exhausted me and made me pretty out of breath. I also don't think I have ever been this drained after a run.

2 in 15:46, then 2 at midnight in 15:20. Felt good after resting all day, wanted to do more but I was too late. My joints hurt in the morning so I had to run later, but didn't prioritize it very well. I am just a bit sore but it makes my joints very achy. I can tell I really fought hard on yesterday's workout.

53:13. Stopped 4 times. Last quarter was 75 (downhill). Still a bit sore and my right quad was a tiny bit strained.

54:40, last quarter was 74 downhill. Quads still feel just as strained, doesn't feel injured, but they shouldn't feel sore this long. The right one doesn't feel as strained now though.

After dark did 2 in 15:24. Finally not sore! Went out the door to run more and there were deer right there, they are everywhere! Did some workouts at home to use some energy.
Today I spent more time procrastinating than anything else. There are so many habits I need to change. So many things I do wrong. 
Some family stress also made it harder to find motivation. I used to want to exercise more when I get stressed but now I just can't seem to get anything done.

55:00. Somewhere in the run did a quarter mile in 74 downhill. This time got my run before work in the morning.

2 in sub 16, then went to the canyon and did 3 miles in 18:37. There was headwind. I did not have as much desire so I didn't do my best. After I did the first quarter of Jacob's mile in 75. Then ran home around 8 min pace.
This is my first time doing 10 miles. When I was finished I didn't feel bad. Last week when I pushed myself the hardest I felt horrible. Doing basic things like talking and walking was even hard, resting wasn't restful enough. I think it made me burnt out a bit so it took me all week to recover. I think family stress made me lose focuse and get more tired today, but now I am ready for the next workout.
