We got another 3 inches of snow on top of the 7 or 8 we had.  Spent about an hour and a half shoveling, on top of the 2 hours yesterday, but I will take it, we need the snow so bad!  Wore my hiking shoes (SpeedCross) today for traction.  Same run as Saturday. The roads were bad and the sidwalks worse, some of the spots on the trail were almost a foot deep, so it was tough and slow going.  First run of the year.  The achilles was better this morning than in has been, but I didn't prep and ultrasound, so it didn't feel great on the run and started to get tight right after.  9:11 ave

Leg and back day and then practice at the HS.  Ran hen I got home and right before dark.  Roads are really bad and and still a lot of snow and ice.  Tired and schilles was a bout the same as it's been so it was slow going, but I was glad I did it.   8:23 ave

Ran 4 miles with Jaren late morning.  I worked on the achilles pretty good last night, and spent some some this morning warming it up.  It was probably the best it has been in 6 months.  I am anout 198 pounds righ now though, so lots of work to do by end of March.

Freezing rain today and I got drenched!  Glad I was able to run though.  Achilles was a bit better than usual, but of course was sore later.  Did a different out and back today on Morning Blush and Emeline.  7:43 ave and 6:41 last mile.

Ran later just before dark.  Very similar run as the other day, but no freezing rain.  I felt the feeling in my upper stomach like I was running and out of shape, and it is that uncomfortable feeling, but I had less achilles issues than I have had yet.  6:36 last mile, mostly downhill, and a 7:36 ave.

It was warmer. like low 40s, today.  I spendt a while this morning cleaning up around the yard and doing some things with the vehicles before snows again.  Got out on a run around noon.  Achilles wasn't as good today, but it seems to be improving a bit.  I tried my new hot pink Nike ZoomX Invincible FK2s.  They were great, kind of a weird shoe, but very good ride and comfy.  Ran up to Emeline via Morning Blush and Crown Rose and out to the end of Butterfield Park and back.  Kind of kicked my butt today!  7:33 ave and last mile was 6:42, so I will take it.

Ran with Jaren up oin Mantua.  Because of the snow we couldn't make it around the lake, it was too deep.  So we ran the road and part of the trail on the NE side and back.  8:26 ave.  Still snowy and icy, but doable.

Didn't get the achilles warmed up, so it took a while into the run before I felt okay.  6:41 last mile and 7:42 ave

Ran today after a leg work and chest workout.  7:35 ave and 6:43 last mile.  Didn't get the achilles warmed up again, so the first mile was rough.

Ran this afternoon for a bit longer, 4.5 miles.  The achillles was about the same.  I do better when I take a few minutes and ultrasound, and I should have today.  I felt okay today.  The plan should probably be to get frequency up, so maybe get 4 days in a week in.  7:35 ave and about 27 degrees today.

Went 7 miles today, out to Cove Pond and back.  But I went out via Prospero, so I added up the hill on Emeline to get the 6.5 to 7 miles.  Lets were tired from lifting and I didn't feel like running.  Achilles was about average, stiff and sore.  On my way back i ran into the kids and met them all with a snowball!;).  This run hammered me, longest run by 2 miles since June when I got hurt.  Ended up with a 7:39 ave.  Might pay the price for this one.

Ran late morning with Jaren, rather he tagged a long so he wouldn't have to run alone.  Went out to Buterfield Park and back.  Legs were trashed and achilles was very sore, but I made it through and went back to back days.  7:41 ave

16 degrees was the high temp today!  Freakin cold!  Went out and ran 4 miles, not really a fun run.  Ultrasounded before and it helped the achilles warm up.  7:44 ave
