| Ran 8 miles today. Achilles was pretty stiff even though I took 2 days off. Ultrasounded first thing, which helped. Had a hard time breathing, was pretty congested, and the air was pretty crappy too. But I got it done. Did a variation of a loop out to to cove and back. fairly prorgessive 8:50 first miles going up Highfield and Patriot, 8:05 next mile, then under 8:00 after that, with the last one at 6:47. 7:40 ave. Goal next week is to run 4 days.

| Did not feel great today! Got out for a run after some ultrasound, but it still took a while to get the achilles warmed up, in fact, it never really did completely. Ended up with 4.5 miles at 7:30 pace, which is good for me right now. 8:28, 8:06, 7:14, 6:55, and 6:04 pace for the last half. My calf gets so tight in some areas, probably from overcompinsating.

| Ran 5 miles this morning with Jaren. Went out to 6400 via Private Road and looped back on triple crown. Achilles was pretty sore, but I kept compression on it and used a sleep cast, then ultrasounded. 7:37 ave..

| Evening run solo. Achilles was tight today, but I did ultrasound for 8 min before going out. Not too bad for most of the run, and the weather was a bit warmer, like 37 degrees. I did pretty good progression with an 8:18, 7:57, 7:16, and 6;47. 7:35 ave.
Lifted chest before.

| Ran with the kids for the first time in 8 months . I am out of shape for a run like this, and it was 20 degrees, so my old beat up body had a hard time for a lot of the run. Ended up going 8.5 miles with a 7:39 ave. I did hit mile 7 and 8 sub 7:00.

| Ran with Jaren from Oyler's on the canal trail north to Brigham and back. The trail a mix of soft mud, snow, ice, and some dry. Pretty good headwind from the south coming back, so all in all the conditions made it a tough run! Good to get an 8 miler done at the beginning of the week though. 8:12 ave for me, Jaren was a bit faster the last half mile or so.

| Snow day today, so we had virtual learning. Then because of the crazy storm and drifts I spent 3 hours moving snow. Once I got a bit of food and recovered for a little while I went out running. The roads were bad and I was tired form snow removal and legs yesterday. Pretty slow and tough run. Glad to have time to do it though. Achilles was about normal. Did some scar tissue massage and scaping afterward, so tomorrow I will be sore. 8:10 ave.

| Snow day part 2. Same as yesterday, virtual day and the same run. This time no big snow removal though, and I ultrasounded the achilles today, which always seems to help. So the run ended up being a bit faster. Roads were better in some places and as bad or worse in other places. 7:51 ave today.

Progression the whole run. 7:28 ave. 8:52, 7:57, 7:17, 7:13, 6:41. 3:10.
