| Antelope Island always a good time. This is the fifth year in the row that I have done this race. The 25K loop is a great combo of ups/downs/flats/views/ and buffalo to boot. About 350 runners this year I think. Felt good overall throughout this race. Perfect temps but a nagging wind at times that was a bit chilly. Starting out is about 2.5 miles of steady vert that is runnable but just need to settle in and find a pace that gets you to the top and then can recover until the next ups. Did the downhill a bit more reserved this year as my quads werent taking the pounding as well as a few years ago. Switchback section always tough starting out but then becomes remarkably doable if the will stays intact. Was starting to slow a bit when a runner got on my tail about 4 miles to go and hung there... this didnt bother me at all as it felt we were working together even though I in front. At a mile to go he pulled even and could have dusted me but hung and we ran the last in together. This helped me stay strong and faster finish than I would have had otherwise. Oreo had a strong run and fun to hang with him for the night and day. AMC theater rules. Oh also talked with Rocky Toone out on island...havent seen him since High School. Was cool. Good times... | Read about the new BST section completed between Mt Oly and Olympus cove. Really liked it for much of the run, then coming back a bit crowded. Nice to have a new option nearby. The access point in the cove not too exciting but rest of the trail up in the air.

| Grand Canyon R2R2R...with that middle R being ribbon falls haha (also some miscellaneous miles on road to get to Rim). Seriously though this was cool and pretty much what I was hoping for and expected. This is a serious venture for sure. See Oreo for write up on what we did but suffice it to say this was epic for the brothers to hang in the canyon and I enjoyed every bit of. Highlights...South Kaibab at 4:30 am, seeing sun come up on way down, Colorado river and the bridges, Phantom ranch flush toilet a nice place for the bizness, ribbon falls is cool and I love the moss rock landing pad, the beards, the heat, the ice and lemonade at Phantom Ranch... i could have hung out there for a few hours, Pizza after...Hairdog coming out alive after doing who knows how many miles alone...crap man, that climb out is a beast ... good stuff...proud to hang with such studs... thanks bros!

| Happy 4th! Up at 330 AM to get on trail to summit Ben Lomand from Huntville side. The trail going up this way is fantastic with some seriously stunning views and glens along the way. Was sucking it up as far as energy until the summit but Oreo and HDog going strong. Felt a bit better on run down. Awesome adventure on a cool and unique trail. Good times.

| Mid Mountain from stein parking area to Empire Pass to make it a loop. This is a great trail Im reminding myself. I love the quakie aspen areas. Felt better after a big off trail dookie...anyway there are great trails around this mountain. Feeling some desire to get back to being able to do a slow steady run without feeling like I am made of lead. Paddle boarding for the first time in a pond up here in Park city with family. Was fun.

| Big mamma Jamma over Grandueur loop... done solo... so lonely... awesome views as usual, but really kicked my trash the last half mile of climb it was so windy. and then wasted and tired after the 2 mile 3000 feet climb only 8 more miles to go...suck. Tried new descent off of the overlook but it petered out and I ended up bush wacking more than is cool... good times... now sit in Hot Tub.
