| on a treadmill in aspen, colorado. the altitude got to me. ran 4 miles and walked 0.2 in 42 minutes. splits for the running: 10:01, 9:31, 9:21, 10:30. Right around 30 minutes I got overwhelmed. I slowed down for about 5 minutes and then I ran at 9:31 pace for another 2 minutes. I was really beat.

| tired but ran because I won't be able to run again this week. total time 39:11. I deliberately went slow until the last mile. splits 9:56, 10:02, 10:03, and 9:10. the last mile I picked it up slight for the first 5 minutes and then went hard to finish.

| I am feeling sluggish. Total time 28:12. splits 9:01, 9:10, 10:01. Starting at 6 minutes I alternated 1 hard with 2 easy. after the hard minutes at 15 minutes I was dead and struggled the rest of the run.
