| 530 am met kim and jane at vasa gym f irst group run in a long time. first 8 miler in a while. ran to the very top of 1100 north (3.9 miles) circled around up there until 4.1 miles then ran back to equal 8 miles back at gym. avg pace 8:07. 30 degrees brrr. major uphill!!

| 6am in the freezing 25 (probably less in Alpine where we ran)degrees. Never really warmed up. Avg pace 8:08. ran from angies to alpine and back. trying to get back to running. after a long 7 weeks of barely anything.

| woke up at 7:20am. remembered there was a race going on in Lehi (thankful13). sister running it. it started at 8am. decided to just go over there and run it. longest run since marathon. last sat i ran longest run of 9 miles. today 13.1. freezing but I just ran easy. started behind 1:50 pacer but caught to 1:45 pacer just before the first mile. Stayed in front of them rest of race nearly catching 1:40 pace without trying. Brrrrr. Legs a little stiff but heart handling all well. Not winded one bit. Stayed about 15 minutes after race then headed home to make Thanksgiving dinner. Passed lots of runners. But WAS passed by two women in last mile. Oh well.

| warmup two miles 7mph to 7.5mph. Then 7 x 800s. First one nice and easy to break the ice. ran by kim she directed the show. Started at 9.1 mph (6:35) then 9.5, 9.6, 9.7, 9.8, 9.9, and last 10mph. 1/4 mile jog in between at 7mph. Cool down one mile in 7:41.
