Ran 7 this morning because I can't make it to Track practice today because I have to take my Driving Test. Started off really slow with the first miles being:8:02, 7:03, and 7:15, but then was under 6:40 for the next 4 so I'm happy with it. 6:53 avg. Hopefully get in 3 or 4 easy between school and my Driving Test.

Ended up getting 8 more throughout the day. Ran 5 at 6:42 pace after school, with a mile cooldown, then ran 2 more later.

Ran 3 in P.E., then 2 before practice, then about 5 in practice and finished off with some strider's and some jogging.

Ran 5 in practice on the indoor track, then total of 4 on the treadmill throughout the day. I also won the 1 lap race we had with some of the distance guys on the indoor track, which was fun, especially considering all the crap Greg was talking before we raced.

Ran 3 in P.E., then at practice I ran about 2, but then my stomach was hurting so i walked and jogged back to my house.

Did a 2 mile warmup then we ran our mile time trial at practice. I ran a 4:56, which at this point in the year is o.k. I probably could have run harder on the 3rd lap especially considering I think my endurance is a lot better comparatively than my speed right now, but I'll take it. 2 mile cooldown.

Did a .72 mile warmup to the indoor track at CVHS, and really had no plan in mind as to waht I was going to run, but I felt really good so I did 6 miles hard in 36:44, so 6:07 avg., 2.78 mile cooldown.

Got to practice and just started running on the indoor track with Greg, I ran for an hour at at least 7 minute pace or maybe a little faster. So about 8.5 miles. 2 mile cooldown. I am also going to play in a church basketball game tonight so that will be fun.

Ran 3 in P.E., then 7 at 6:47 pace at practice, mile cooldown and 7 striders. Feel pretty tired so hopefully I'll take it pretty easy tomorrow to get ready for the meet this weekend.

2 mile warm up prior to a 2 mile race. Ran 10:16 which is pretty good for me. Could have been better but I'm happy with it.

Warmed up 2 miles before the mile. I ran the mile in 4:46, which is a pr for me and I also ran close to even splits and felt very good so I am definitely happy with this race. Ran 10 miles after the race because I felt very good. Later I was bored and wanted to exercise so I jogged .52 to the track, then ran 3 miles at 5:46 pace. Then I ran a 1.19 mile cooldown.

.3 mile jog to the track. We ran 7.2 miles for the Sports Authority route at practice, then did 7 striders and a 2.5 mile jog when I was done. Tomorrow we are doing are first workout on the track so hopefully I can run well in that.

Bunch of short runs/ warmups and cooldowns. Ran 1 x 1600, and 3 x 800. Ran the 1600 in 5:08, the first 800 in 2:29, the second 800 in 2:27, and 2:17. The 2:17 is also 2 seconds slower than my 800 p.r. so pretty good for the first speed workout of the year.

We ran at Cedar today. I warmed up 2.5 miles then ran the mile in 4:53. Decent time but didn't run as smartly as I should have. My second and third laps were way to slow so I need to work on that. Then I ran 3 miles with Greg and ran the 800 in 2:14 was hoping for a 2:10 but o well. Ran the 2 mile in 10:48, not a very good time, but didn't really want to run it, so just a workout. 1 mile cooldown.

Ran up the Canyon with Greg, we did 5.64 up to the bridge at 7:11 pace, then a 4 mile tempo down the Canyon and through town at 5:43 pace, then jogged back to my house to get to 10, good hard run.

Did a track workout today, 1.5 warmup, the 1 x 1600, 1x1200, 1x800, and 3 x400. The mile was pretty easy, 5:20, then still pretty easy for the 12: 3:53. Ran 2:15 in the 8 so pretty hard, then 68, 63, and 66 for the 4's, jogging in between. 4 mile cooldown plus 10 min. on the stairclimber.

Ran 2.5 to the track, at the track, and over to the high school. Then me Greg, and another guy from the team did about 9. The first 4 were between 7 and 7:30 pace, and the next 5 were at about 6:00 pace, feeling pretty beat up right now, but hopefully I will be rested for our track workout tomorrow.

Warmed up .8. We did a track workout today of 4 X 800, and 4 X 400. The 8's were supposed to start out a little slower than 2 mile pace and gradually get faster, and the 4's were supposed to be a faster than mile pace. The first 8 was 2:35, so too slow, but after that they were okay, 2:28, 2:26, and 2:22. The 4's were on pace and pretty hard. The first was 61, and the next threee were between 60-61, cooled down 2.7, I estimated that we jogged 1.5 total in between intervals, probably not quite that much but close.
