am--3 Nice run up Freedom Blvd w/ James and Aspen.

pm--7 Anasazi from gate to gate in the afternoon drizzle. What's more beautiful than the desert in the rain?

am--5.5 Anasazi w/ Tom. Nice chat. I also got skunked, fishing Mammoth.

I finished a book that is full of life, the good parts and the bad parts. The book is The Brothers K by David James Duncan.

am--5 Ran from home, down Warrior Way, and back home. Race in the evening.

am--2.25 Easy run w/ the boys, girls, and some b-ballers.

pm--4.5 Golf Course run mostly w/ Soren. 

am--2.5 SC Drive and a chat w/ Robert. Remember ugh day otherwise.

pm--5.5 Anasazi in weather bordering on triple digits. Just stupid for September.

pm--5.5 Same run as yesterday in temperatures about 10 degrees hotter and a dry podcast about Meister Eckhart. Way more fun than expected.

pm--6.25 SC Parkway w/ 5x 2-3:00 pickups every 5 minutes and 4x hill sprints. Felt good.

am--5 Ran to and from the shakeout. Really not in a good space w/ coaching. 

am--4.25 Ran from the hotel to the capitol building. It's quite the climb, but the view is pleasant. 
 

I finished another Pepe Carvalho mystery, An Olympic Death, by Manuel Vazquez Montalban. The mystery was never much of a mystery and never truly solved, but the main character was engaging.

am--2.75 Only got a morning run in today. Still feeling extra fatigue. I finished an interesting book by my current fav, David James Duncan. The book is called God Laughs & Plays after a quote from Meister Eckhart. It's got me on a spiritual reading bent.

pm--5.75 Anasazi w/ the Chipmunk loop. It was warm but decent. I listened to some more on Meister Eckhart.

am--5 Anasazi w/ Tom and Jack. It's fun to be around smart weirdos.

am--2.5 Nice morning loop that I wasn't initially happy about. :)

am--5 Longer morning run because of the meet later. Meet went well. Kids responded to the challenge.

am--5 Longer morning run, added w/ James and Emmy. It's beginning to look a lot like autumn.

am--7 Beautiful morning run on Anasazi--gate-to-gate--w/ my neighbor. Weather was awesome.

pm--5.5 Truncated version of the Rim Trails on tires legs, listening to Jonathan Marcus drone on about coaching while he pretends to interview Mike Smith. Ha. Nice afternoon.

pm--6.5 SC Parkway w/ 5x 2-3 minutes of uptempo w/ recovery to 5 minutes and 4x hill sprints after. A nice confidence builder.

am--2.5 Pacey morning run w/ a good crew.

pm--4.5 Heights warm w/ some running and helping Jackson to sub-20--19:48! Fun to see the team rally around someone.

am--5 Ran to and from practice because of the meet later. Lots of cool things happening this week w/ the team.

am--2.25 Shakeout w/ a slightly smaller group.

pm--5.5 Anasazi w/ some Bad Religion. Needed to sweat off some angst.

pm--6.25 Barrel Roll figure 8. This was basically a 5-mile trail tempo w/ a cooldown. Not sure why I pushed it, but I did. Felt yesterday like life is creeping into my physical well-being.
