Today I did something different, I tried a different route. Instead of going straight up Washington Terrace I zig-zagged up. It was good for a change I'll have to keep this one for one of my 5 mile runs during the week. Although one of the roads that I run on isn't the best and it's hard to see the potholes in the dark.
Time: 49:29 (9:02 Ave. Pace)
Splits: 9:27, 9:15, 9:16, 8:47, 8:34, 4:07 (.48 Mile)

I was really dragging this morning and had to really force myself out the door. I made it and had a pretty good run today. I can tell I'm going to be tired today but at least I won't have to beat myself up about not running this morning.
Time: 58:58 (8:56 Ave. Pace)
Splits: 10:05, 9:49, 8:59, 8:50, 8:41, 7:46, 4:46 (.61 Mile)

Good run today, it rained early this morning so the roads were all wet. It was warm and humid but a good morning otherwise. Felt pretty good today, I thought I'd have a problem with my ankle because it hurt when I got up but luckily not a problem on the run.
Time: 49:00 (8:53 Ave. Pace)
Splits: 10:00, 9:51, 8:53, 8:25, 7:46, 4:03 (.51 Mile)

I was late getting out this morning so I had to cut the run a little short this morning. Almost got hit by a car making a right turn on a red light without stopping this morning had to jump out of the way. The only good thing would have been that it was right in front of Ogden Regional Hospital. Great run this morning, mid 40's is the perfect temps for running.
Time: 1:04:17 (8:52 Ave. Pace)
Splits: 9:59, 9:41, 9:01, 8:56, 8:34, 8:18, 7:44, 2:00 (.25 Mile)

Nothing like stepping outside your door in the dark and having your neighbors dog standing there growling at you. So that got the old heart going to start. Great run today I felt pretty good aside from the top of my right foot where the ankle meets the foot is sore, what an odd place to be sore. Awesome sun rise this morning at just past the 6 mile mark coming up through Weber Canyon.
Time: 1:14:08 (9:06 Ave. Pace)
Splits: 10:07, 9:58, 9:11, 9:34, 8:56, 8:44, 8:31, 7:58, 1:06 (.15 Mile)

A little hard to get out the door this morning, tired. A nice run though, it's been really nice temperature wise this week. This morning I seen an older guy with his small dog in one of those baby carriers that you strap around your chest. The dog was facing forward just along for the ride. Maybe I'm out in left field but this seems a little strange to me.

Looked at the thermometer this morning and it said 33 degrees, I'm not ready for this yet. Treadmill run this morning, watched Talledega Nights. As far as I'm concerned you can't go wrong watching this show. Of course it's stupid but just funny and entertaining.

Had the day off work so I got to sleep in a little before the run today. I was also waiting for the sun to come up since my thermometer read 28 degrees. Good run this morning, mile 4 was a killer for some reason. My garmin died some where between 5.5 and 6 miles so I don't have a time for today.
Time: 51:24 (5.44 Miles when my watch died)

I was very cold this morning until around the 5 mile mark when the sun came up and I started running with the wind. It was windy this morning which made it feel colder. What happened to fall? We had 8" of snow on Sunday.

Temps were much better this morning, I didn't feel cold today. It's amazing sometimes what 5 degrees and no wind will do. Good run today except for the top of my right foot where it meets my shin is sore, has been for over a week now.

With the kids off school I got to sleep in a little this morning, that may have been a mistake. I really had to drag myself out the door this morning to run. Good run pretty uneventful, although my foot didn't bother me today.

My legs felt tired today, especially around 2 miles. Nice morning, not too cold good to be outside running. I'm hoping I don't have to put the shorts away any time soon though. Monday and Tuesday made me seriously think about it.

Back to the early runs this week. It was a little easier to get out the door today having not hit snooze for an hour. Left hamstring felt a little twitchy for about .5 miles this morning then it was okay. Windy and warm this morning, I saw it was windy and over dressed just a little. Today was just an easy distance run. I've got to remember to re-charge my watch, it died again between 4-5 miles.
Time: 44:34 (4.52 Miles uphill)

Woke up with a huge head ache so I decided not to run. Got home from work and started feeling a little guilty so I hit the treadmill at around 7PM. I decided to watch Dirty Jobs last night while running. The last part was Mike castrating sheep, if you haven't seen it you may not want to. Pretty disgusting. Anyway the run was about as good as a treadmill run can get which is not very good. I ran on a full stomach so I just took it easy.

I didn't know how this run would go since I ran later last night I only got around 11 hrs. recovery and I'm used to getting 24 hrs. Felt a little tired around .5 miles but otherwise I felt fine. Overall pace was slightly slower which I think was due to the shortened recovery and not being used to that.

This cold is making it hard to get out of bed to run. I was able to drag myself out the door this morning and as usual when I don't feel like running had a pretty good run.

Really stuffy sinus wise today, I hope I'm not getting a cold. Not as cold this morning felt a little better. I think it's almost as hard getting used to running in the dark as it is the cold. Pretty uneventful run this morning.

Had to get up and run a little early this morning to get my daughter to school and then get down to SLC for an Oracle Users Conference. Nice morning the temp was really nice, a little darker at 5:30am.

Another nice morning. I wish it would stay in the 40's year round in the morning for running. It doesn't get much better than that. I think this week of taking it easy is doing me some good, this mornings run was great. I felt great and it was a pleasure to run today as opposed to the last few weeks when it's been a little forced.
