N.O. Limits Half Marathon (13.1 Miles) 02:18:01 | | Ok so sore quads from Thursday's awesome trail fest so I took this one easy. Didn't race it at all just relaxed and didn't push it. That's a really tough course with a lot of up hill for a race plus it mixes road and trail so that was nice.

| | Blah....today's run was hard and not because I was running fast. Just one of those days, glad I went but it wasn't my best run.

Ogden Marathon (26.2 Miles) 04:43:00 | | Well the sun was actually shining when this thing started for about 5 minutes. You could see the impending doom looking down South Fork toward Pine View. Started off easy running with Ben, Brandon, and Dave. After about a mile or so I eased into an nice sustainable pace. The rain started about 2 miles in and just got worse for the race. I felt really good coming out of South Fork, at the Half Marathon split and running up the hill outside of Eden. As soon as I was at the top of the hill there was wind in my face and the rain seemed to pick up, that was hard to do but it did. Somewhere between here and the spillway I felt my legs cool down and I couldn't get them to warm back up.
I was able to keep my pace through 22 miles or so then my legs just started locking up. So from here on in I was running/walking. BUMMER!!! I really think I could have held my pace and come in around 4:15 because I felt really good until my legs got cold. But I finished and I'm happy that I was able to push myself to the end.

| | Easy, peasy this morning with Bailey. Had to walk a short bit at .25 because my left leg was a little sore but it cleared up and I felt fine for the rest of the run. Wow I can't believe it wasn't raining...

| | Time to get back in the saddle...well sort of. I probably should have done 8 instead today but felt good to get out and run without getting wet. Getting ready for trail time, can't wait.

| | Ultimate quad grinder this morning with Oreo up the Fire Trail to Skyline trail, to Lewis Peak. That's some serious uphill. Nick warned me but somehow I didn't think it would be as tough as it was. I think the downhill part was just as tough. Anyway that's what makes it fun aside from having a good friend 'enjoy' the pain with you.

| | Well the legs are still a little fatigued...easy pace today felt really pretty hard. Nice morning and I beat the rain so no complaints.

| | Great morning, can't say I'm going to miss the rain. Run felt hard again and now I'm tired. Feel like I need a nap.
