I ran out past Gu Corner and then down into the river bottoms, when I hit my 5 mile mark I headed back to the house the same way. My pace was a little better this morning and my legs seemed to respond a lot better than they have. The last couple of miles I slowed some but that was just from the extra miles, my average pace was 8:45 with a total time of 1:28:21, this is my first double digit run for a while and I was happy to be able to do it. My pace was still a little slower but I'm only about 15 seconds per mile slower than I was before I got injured so I am on the right track

I ran out towards payson via canal road this morning, my legs wouldn't go again and they feel like heavy concrete logs. Pace was way slow again at 9:21 with a total time of 48:13, after the run I did my upper body weight training and some push-ups and then I jumped on the elliptical for 20 minutes to finish up. It was a good workout and a good start to the week.

I ran to Mini GU and then back to the house all via canal road,  My legs seemed a little better today, still slower but a little more strength to them. My average pace was 8:50 with a total time of 53:38, I hope I continue to get a little better as the weeks go by. it was sure a beautiful afternoon and I am glad I was able to get out.

I wasn't able to get out today, it seemed like everytime I tryed something came up so it was a no go for today. I hope tomorrow goes a little better and I can get a run in.

I ran out past Mini Gu and half way up powerhouse and then back to the house, it was sure a nice afternoon  for a run and I'm glad I got out today. My pace was still slower than normal at 9:07 with a total time of 1:05:53, I seemed to have a little bit better flow this afternoon and it felt okay, I still have a few aches and pains but they seem to be coming around. I hope!

I ran out Past GU Corner and then down into the river bottoms, pace was really slow again I ran into Tom and he was gracious enough to run along with me for a few miles. My average pace was 9:20 with a total time of 1:33:57, the last 3 miles were pretty tough but towards the end of the last mile I decided to try and finish strong and I over came it but it was sure painful. I'm glad I was able to get out though and even though I'm struggling with my pace its still good to get out and run. I hop I can work through this rough stretch and come out the other side stonger.

I ran the Payson Park Loop this morning but I cut out the rollers, my back was hurting me and my groin was tender and then my abdominal strain was really giving me trouble so it was a free for all this morning. I use to be able to run this route in like 53 minutes but now I just have to work really hard to brake 60 minutes, very frustrating! I did have a negative split on the way back so I did try harder on the way back, it took me 30 minutes to run out and then 28:32 on the way back. My average pace was still way slow at 9:23 with a total time of 58:32, I'm glad I still was able to get out today even if it was painful every step of the way. I did feel better on the way back, my body and back seemed to loosen up.

I ran out to Mini GU via canal road and I was really frustrated with the way I was feeling so as I was running I decided to try and watch my form and I couldn't beleive that I wasn't moving my upper body much at all so towards the end of my 3rd mile I decided to just let it all go and start really working with my upper body along with my legs. What a surprising effect, everything just started to flow together and I thought how easy the running was, so the next mile I really started to work on my form and the next mile was an easy 8:14, and then the next mile was 8:27 and then the last mile was 8:24... They were all sub 8:30 which is my usual training pace, I couldn't freaking believe it! All this time my upper body was restricting my lower body and so it was making it difficult to run. I will try it again tomorrow and see how I do, my average pace was 8:49 with a total time of 53:39. The first 2 miles were 9:30 and 9:20 and then the 3rd mile was 9:04, and I was really flowing good the rest of the way. I hope I have finally broke through and I hope this is the answer, talk about a crazy thing!

My back was still a bit of a bother the first couple of miles but after that it seemed to do pretty good.

I ran the pretty little hill loop this morning, I was really tired but I got her done. My average pace was 8:52, I might run a little tomorrow but it will be really lite. It was nippy this morning and it looks like the shorts will be done after this weekend, suppose to really cool down, dang!

I accidentally slept in this morning so I didn't get out until after 8am, I ran out past Mini GU and it was snowing pretty good so I started to head back and it stopped snowing for the most part so I did 2 mile repeats. I didn't run them fast just tried to stay steady, after returning to the house I ran out past the old barn on canal road to add a few more pace was just okay but the last 2 miles were sub 8:30 so I am on the right track. My average pace was 8:46 with a total time of 1:28:20, my goal is to get my training pace back down to 8:30 average or better and then I'll be able to start going after some speed...  I'm glad I got her in today, I almost copped out but I finished the week off right.

I ran after work and this was the worst run of my life! I almost quit and came home but I just stayed with it and got it done. I was hoping I was past this but today was one of the worst runs I have had in the last couple of months and I have had a lot of bad ones. Average pace was 9:20 with a total time of 58:10, it was a death march and I found myself cussing out loud.

I haven't run in about a week, I ran Monday but then We headed down to LA and went on a little 3 day cruise down to Ensanada, Mexico with the kids. We just got back into Port this morning and now we are in LA by Disneyland, we are spending a few more days here, maybe hit Disneyland and then we will head home later this week. I haven't been running and I probably won't until later this week, I decided to just take some time off and I am hoping that all these little injuries will subside. I didn't want to have any conflict that would take a way time with the kids. This will probably be the last time we will all be together with Abby leaving on a mission in Feburary and then Cade will be leaving sometime after that, so it was a good time to do it. We might hit a clippers game too.

We finally returned home from our trip last night and so I thought since its been almost 2 weeks since I have ran that  I had better get out and do one. I ran out to Mini GU and then back to the house via canal road, everythiing felt pretty good just the old legs were tired from inactivity the last lttle while, my pace was pretty steady and my average was 8:29 with a total time of 51:36. Most of my aches and pains seemed to have subsided so I'm hoping that I can really start going again, I have had a tough go of it the last lettle while. I have missed getting out and I want to get back to being a runner again.
