| So I go to the surgeon today and he checks me out and says that I don't have a hernia! What The?! He seemd to think its some kind of pulled muscle. He wants me to quit running for two weeks and then see where we are at! I don't know what to think? He gave me some excersizes and stretches to do so I guess I will try that and then see how it goes. I am very frustrated right now!

| I ran 4 miles after work and I ran out towards Payson past the old barn via canal road, after returning home and realizing that I didn't have to take Ethan to Cross Country I went out for a couple more miles out past the stake center. Pace was easy and just enjoying the nice afternoon temps! My average pace was 8:56 with a total time of 55:15, after the run I did some lite upper body weight training and then some push-ups. My abdomen was ok, I've been doing what the Doctors have told me to do but it feels better when and after I run, so for now I will run and see how it goes.

| I ran out past the stake center this morning, my legs were really dead and my lower right leg felt like it was going to give out in me! I ran 4 miles in 40 minutes, just really, really slow! But it was still good to get out even though my old body seems to be falling apart!

| I ran out past the old barn on canal road towards Payson and man did I feel a lot better this morning than yesterday, I still don't have a lot of zip in my legs yet but at least I could break a 9 minute pace... My average pace was 9:00 and my total time was 36:41, still slow I know but 4 minutes faster than yesterday's fiasco! I made sure that I drank more water than usual yesterday and I seemed to feel so much better, I think I need to make sure I get enough during the day. The plan is to do no more than 4 miles a day for awhile, i might do one longer run during the week but no more than 8 miles when and if I do that. I want to use this month to get my legs back and then start training for the ST. George Half marathon in January starting in November.

| I ran out to the base of Harrys Hill and decided to run Pretty Little Hill loop and then back to the house, I felt okay today and I feel like my body is starting to co-operate for a change. I'm still not real fast but all my aches and pains seem to be getting better, my average pace 8:55 and my total time was 46:56. I'm going Pheasant hunting tomorrow with Ethan early so I will probably do my run when we get back, it should be a great day!

| My goal today was to run out to GU corner and then back to the house via canal road, I felt a little tired the first mile or so and then my legs seemed to loosen up and I had a pretty good rhythm towards the end. My average pace was 8:55 which is still slower but I'm just happy to be out running, my body still feels tender but it seems to be coming around pretty good. I should be able to get up to 30 miles next week and then keep my weekly mileage there for a while, it's been a pretty good week.

| I ran out to the Big Old Blue mailbox on canal road and then back to the house, I pretty much felt like crap but I was able to get her done! It was a little raining but not to bad, My pace was way slow again at 9:27 with a total time of 44:35, I'm not real sure why I am so slow as of late, about a minute slower per mile which is really weird... Oh well, such is life right? I mean, I gues it will eventually come back, At least i hope so.

| I ran after work today and was able to get out just before 5 or so and I ran out to Mini GU and then back to the house all via canal road. I felt okay but my darn legs feel like big logs, heavy and no zip at all, I hope that this will eventually pass cuz it really sucks! My average pace was 8:58 and my total time was 54:19, it was nice to at least barley beat the 9 minute guy, I never thought I would feel like that was an accomplishment but I'll take what I can get.

| I ran out to Mini GU Corner this afternoon and I felt pretty good, my legs felt a lot less clunky today than they have in the past which is a good sign. My average pace was a little better today to which was good too at 8:37 and my total time was 52:20. I ran into Kent Wing on the way back and it was good to talk to him, I hope I have a lot more days like today!

| I ran out to GU and then back to the house, ran most of it with Pat Loss, my legs did not feel good at all and it was a struggle the whole way.. I had a good time running with Pat though, but my legs were spent, average pace was a little slower than normal as we walked a little bit in there, most of the time it was sub 9 minute miles when we were running, total time was 1:14:01. It was a pretty good week of running but i am having a hard time getting my legs and my breathing where they need to be, I hope that will come around with more running. This has been a hard come back and I really didn't miss a lot of time but it sure feels like I have. Its all most like I just starting running and I'm starting all over again.

| I ran out Past Mini Gu and then almost to Gu but turned back about half way to Gu, leg felt a little better today but I still have no zip in the old legs my pace right now is a good minute off my usual training pace so I don't know what's going on there... My average pace 9:13 with a total time of 1:06:16. I am offically 20 pounds heavier than I was in 2008-2009 I really need to get to eating better and seeing if its possible to get back down to 160 or so, right now I am 180 dripping wet and that is not good!

| I ran the Payson Park Loop today but I cut out the rollers, legs are still very dead and I had a hard time mustering a 8:50 pace but I did my best. Average pace was 8:53 with a total time of 55:21 I did some upper body weight training and then finished up with some push-ups. I really don't know what is up with my pace but I just can't seem to get my legs to go, they feel like heavy logs of cement and its not real fun, I hope this will eventually get better.

| I ran the pretty little hill loop this morning, leg seemed okay once I was able to get loosened up but my legs overall just feel like crap, no zip at all and like today I couldn't have gone any farther than I did cuz they just get really tired... My pace was way, way slow at 9:26 with a total time of 49:37, I just don't know what to think. I know I missed some time running but I shouldn't be feeling like this, oh well I will just keep at it and hope for the best.

| I ran out past the stake center and towards Mini GU, I felt okay but my legs are still way dead and my hernia that's not a hernia was supper sore for some dumb reason! I really thought I was on the road to recovery there but apparently not! My average pace was slow 9:28 with a total time of 38:41. I feel so horrible anymore that I really wonder why I'm still running, it has been a frustrating 2 or 3 months. On a lighter note my stepson Mason comes home from his mission today! I can't believe its been 2 years already!
