First day of XC this summer.  We had a lot of new kids today, which is good, but we are definitely green.  Ran with Aubrie down Sentinel to the Corridor and back.  Knee was tight in the middle, but it seems to be improving.  7:28 ave

Started off in the back with Aubrie and Lucy and moved through the crowds.  Lucy and I ran the whole way together.  7:08 ave  Knee was a little more stiff today, mostly because I am not uded to running 3 consecutive days.  Natural progression again, 8:09, 7:20, 6:38, 6:28.

Started in the back and finished in the front.  Had some decent progression and realized that I am very out of shape.  Knee was the same, always gets stiff at some point and at the end.  Longest run since Boston and my first week of 5 consecutive days running since I got hurt on March 19th.  7:58-6:20 pace.  7:04 ave

Ran from Butterfield up Cove Hill with Jaren and back.  Legs were tired from yesterdays' legs day, and it was way cold, like 40 degrees.  Finished our run just before practice.  Jaren has lifeguard training all week, so we are going earlier.  7:21 ave

Ran before practice with Jaren.  We did 2 miles of tempo that I was going to have the kiddos do for practice.  Felt tough for me today.  Jaren beat me by about a minute.  I went 5:55, and 5:54.  7:08 ave.

Achilles on left side pretty tight starting out.  Knee was much better today.

Ran from camp at Cottonwood down to Nephi.  It was gorgeous at first, but at about 3 miles a warm south wind picked up and I had a headwind the rest of the way.  Doesn't happen too often that you get a headwind going down the caynon.  First mile was slower because the achilles on my left side is having issues and is the reason I took yesterday off.  It warmed up though and I ran decent down and was uder 7:00 every mile after with my last one at 6:23 and an average of 6:49 for the run.  needed this run, because I have Bryce in 3 weeks and I am not in shape, or 100% yet.

Knee was better, but still got tight thoughout the run and I felt it in different places.

Ran around Mantua Res with Jaren.  It was freezing cold and raining good, probably 40 degrees, which is crazy for June 20 when it was 98 degrees 3 days ago.  Hands were the coldest thing!  Pretty run, too bad it was so cold.  We added another mile while we were waiting for my wofe and mother in law.  7:25 ave

AM- 2 easy miles at practice, 7:55 ave

PM- warmed up with Jaren, it was hot out.  8:27

Ran the Herriman Yeti 5k which started at Butterfield Park and looped back.  It was hot and mybody wasn't liking me, especially my left hamstring.  I started off slow and then started to pick it up in the middle.  When I hit the trail going to Mirabella my left hammy started pulling, and it hurt.  I kept going for a bit, but it got worse, so I slowed down.  I even thought if it got worse that I would just bail, not worth it to get hurt.  Ran in with my girls at 19:50.  Hammy is very stiff and tnder now.  Cooled down after with Aubrie and Lucy.  They ran well and so did the kids.  Jaren was 2nd overall and got a snow cone machine. was 9:23

Hamstring is still hurt and tight, and achilles was very tight, this is on the left side opposite of the knee.  I didn't even know if I could run today.  Went out very slow and kept it very slow.  Achilles got a bit better and the hamstring stayed tight, but I managed it.  Need to get healthy so I can push.  7:56 ave with the last mile my best in 6:38

New Bostons were good.

Black Ridge trail with the kids, up and over to BSL and back.  Went easy because of the hamstring and achilles.  8:48 ave

The knee is getting better.

Went out for 10.5 this morning, solo.  My achilles was so tight this morning!  I put a heating pad on it for 10 minutes before running and it still took over a mile before it quit hurting.  This run was slower, but still hammered me.  Ended up running 10.5 instead of 10, and was glad to get this one done.  7:22 ave.

Hammy bugged a little at times, but I kept it under control.  The knee is getting better.  My achilles is really sore now though, and swollen.
