Solo 20 miler this morning.  Took a day off for my Birthday weekend and decided to get the long run out of the way.  Weather was decent, high 40s and just a few sprinkles.  I did my normal route if I were going up Butterfield Canyon, but stayed on the highway and then ran down toHerriman High.  Added a bit at the end of 6000 W.  Then I went back to 6400 West and the standard 5 miles home, other than I was long, so I took Prospero instead of Rosecrest in the last mile.  This was a tough run, a lot of hills.  Glad I had music with me.  Planted drinks for 5 miles, 12, miles, and 16 miles.  Last 3 miles were sub 7:00 (6:48, 6:34, and 6:29).  Glad to get this one done.  7:25 ave after a 7:39 ave first 10.

Legs were tired and achilies and hammy on left were stiff.  Went really easy and got 4 miles in.  Weather hadn't gotten too bad yet, probably high 30s.  7:52 ave.

Lifted afterward.

43 today, good way to start off a Birthday.

Ran this morning with Hunter, Tim, and Evan.  Started at Yellow Fork, went to Tim's, did a 4 mile loop arounf the new Daybreak area, then down to the River Trail on 12600 S, took 1300 W over to the Tithing Hill.  About 20.1 after we added a 1/4 mile past the park each way.  7:4 ave.  Knee and achilles are stil a bit inflamed, but I think my form is getting a bit better.

Evan picked me up and we ran from his house over to my house and then down the Bluffdale way to 1300 West, over to 11400 S and back to the Rotary Park on the trail.  Good run and good coversation.  However, about 15 miles my knee started to get really stiff.  It didn't get much worse, until I finished.  It seemed okay, until I drove home and with Jaren and Evan and then I couldn't get out of the car.  My knee swelled up a long with my leg the whole weekend.  I might have torn meniscus or something because it it crazy inflamed!

Went out on a nice day.  I was trying to see if I could run on my knee after a week off.  It was stiff, but I made it through okay.  Josh came up on me at the beginning and ran with me the whole run.  7:29 ave.

I think I will try to run the Half tomorrow and see how it goes.

1.1 warm up with Tim and Hunter.  Knee didn't feel right, but I figured I would go out with Tim and Andrew Bracken and see.  About a mile into the run I sped up and started to pass people.  That course is tough course and then it was warme and windy today.  I was feeling okay until we hit the river trail with 7 to go.  the head wind was decent and it was pretty spread out.  I did catch a couple more guys, Chad at 8 miles and another guy at 10.  Ran pretty slow, but so did everyone else.  Ended up 7th overall and 2nd in the age.  1:31:21 the slowest half ever!  Knee got really stiff afterward and I wraped it and iced it thoughout the day as much as I could at the Copper Hills Invite.

Ran with the team and added on a mile to get 6.  Knee hurt today.  I went to see Doc Day yesterday and we are pretty sure it is medial meniscus.  7:46 ave
